Can't quit because I don't want it enough?
I know my life would be better without it. But it's just one dose in the evening after work, and honestly it's become the highlight of my day - it helps me switch from "work mode" into "chill mode." I'm at 7g/day.
Every morning I struggle to wake up, and I know I'd feel better with healthier habits. But somehow I take it again anyway.
I think the truth is: I don't want it that badly. But I also don't want to feel miserable enough that quitting becomes urgent. Basically - without real suffering, my motivation to stop stays low. Anyone else been in this spot?
I've read the horror stories about people quitting from 20g+, but since I can't feel that pain myself, it doesn't translate into motivation. How did you get past this stage - the "comfortable enough to keep going" phase - before things got worse?
I can stop for like 10 days have been m longest. Withdrawal symptoms sucked but were totally manageable. Sleep and RLS were the things annoyed me the most and pregabalin low dose before bed helps there.
