Nothing new here, but makes me laugh every time I walk by. Add an apostrophe and move the space and youâd have the best one-two sign combo in America.

Pro: looks like something is finally taking over the Swan Liquors spot on Hope Street!

Con: some of the worst AI branding I've seen from a new business (alsoâred flag calling the neighborhood Hope Village, which is in Pawtucket)
Thoughts?

Hi,
Weird ask/ post but here it goes:
I have a lightly used LLBean backpack that I no longer want. It just dosent fit my commuting needs. Large bag, holds a lot. Bought it in November
I know schools starting soon. Rather than give this to savers or who ever who will undoubtedly sell this for $35+, is there anyone locally I can give this to? Iâd rather help out someone in the community.
My wife and I would be happy to fill it with school
Supplies as well.

Hey Friends!
As part of a yoga teacher training, a group of certified yoga teachers are hosting three free classes in Dexter Park, near the Dexter statute, on the following Sunday mornings from 11 am to 12 pm:
July 26th
August 9th
August 23rd
All levels are welcome, from beginning to advanced. Bring a mat if you have one and a towel. (I will try to have as many mats as possible but I may run out.)
The classes are free but we are accepting donations for the World Food Programme.
Share the word. Thanks!

Hi all! I searched the sub and didnât find any recent-ish posts on mechanic recs, so I am creating a new one. My beloved 2012 Honda Fit needs some work on the exhaust (I think??). Anyone know of any good mechanics in pvd, Pawtucket, NP, etc? Bonus points if theyâre cool with people whose car knowledge is basically just âI can check to see the oil level but everything else is a mysteryâ. Thanks!

Rhode Island made a concerted effort to make the most of World Cup euphoria. It created a non-profit to help prepare for the tournament, and took advantage of the stateâs proximity to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., to position Providence as an alternative to official host city Boston. A free trolley service from downtown Providence made it easier for fans to explore the area. And the Ghana Black Stars team chose Bryant University in Smithfield as its home base, bringing with them a wave of excitement as the tournament began.
Providenceâs Fan Zone recorded approximately 125,000 visitors during the tournament, current estimates from the city show, and became the only official FIFA-sanctioned location in New England after Boston shut down its Fan Festival 16 days into the five week tournament, when the World Cup group matches were over.
âOur primary concern was getting people to Providence to watch the games, to enjoy the culture, and to spend some money while theyâre here,â Providence Mayor Brett Smiley said in an interview. âWhat Iâve heard is that people came.â

Did anyone in Fox Point miss a grocery delivery? Two bags worth of food and drinks, Iâll be donating it all if I donât hear anything because Iâm set on food and donât want it to go bad.
DM if you thinks itâs yours or you think you know whoâs it is, Iâll just ask for confirmation of what was in it to make sure! One things I can say it included was a bunch of Oui yogurts.

I drove past and saw the clothing biz that occupied the building closed and it just made me wish cable car would come back or something else like it. Yeah we have Avon but those seats are ATROCIOUS xD sitting on a couch just hit different for a theater. And knowing the theater experience is dying before our very eyes just makes me a bit nostalgic.

Hi everybody- I made an online parking reservation in advance for the Center Park Garage, since we are taking an Amtrak train and want to make sure there is no issue parking. I used the Spot Hero app to do so. It mentions a QR code in the instructions, but there is no QR code in the "parking pass" that it displays (and also emailed me). Does anybody have experience with the garage, and in particular, how you enter the garage? Does the just gate just open when you arrive? Thanks!

I see all the chairs outside. Has this actually opened yet? Is it just beer or are they doing some coffee and pastries too?

They showed nearly every game, the drinks werenât astronomical, & was a free event (if you didnât buy food etc)
I wish theyâd do movie nights or something in that spot
The only downside was parking $$

I left my bike locked by the frame to a bike station right next to brown health university school of health, last night (07/21). I left it locked overnight and it was gone when I came back this morning. This bike has a lot of personal significance for me, my dad just got it for me as a gift and I have no other way of getting around at the moment. If you see it, please let me know. Please leave a comment and Iâll share my contact info
