Just wanted to share a bit. I had a lot of trepidation about my pit tickets for Syracuse. It has been years since I've been in the pit for a Phish show, and I've been reading a lot of stuff on this sub and other places online about poor behavior in the pit. Lots of "i'm the main character" vibes and general rude behavior. And I have definitely experienced similar behavior myself, even out on the lawn.
Luckily, last night in Syracuse, the pit was super chill and had a great vibe! At least it felt that way on Fishman's side, and as far through the pit as I could see. So, I'm not gonna claim that there are no problems with some people in the pit. But, I do want to shout out the great people last night in the pit in 'Cuse!
Only one real chomper (or two) and that was in the very first row of seats right behind the rail separating seats from the pit. Luckily, while the main chomper was LOUD, his talking was frequent but not constant, and could often be ignored or overwhelmed by the music. Thanks to you folks last night for helping my friends and I (and everyone else) have a great show!
