More sick of the people who forecast it and why outdoor venues are seemingly more afraid of letting things play out than they used to? Feel like SPAC in early 3.0 they’d let people rock on the lawn through a fuckin tornado but now they’ll move whole ass shows or end shows early and then it doesn’t even rain. Not sure if the weather is becoming more volatile or venues aren’t willing to risk as much as they used to. Anyway phish is playing great. Sad there was no encore last night.

Let the boys play, y'all expect too much. Type 2 type O+ who gives a hoot. If you don't like how they're playing, miracle your ticket, or just don't buy them in the first place. Jeesey Pete, we're lucky they still play under such scrutiny.

What is the long con they are doing here with jamming out all these songs that don’t normally get jams.

Makes me think the Friday prank at Dick’s this year is they will play a 30 song show with no jams. And it will mostly be songs that normally have epic jams and always get the treatment.

I think they would think it was funny. And I think the crowd would be deflated.

I’m sure it’s a long standing thing but I don’t get how Phish has such an ear to the ground. I am by no means a veteran and I barely see the patterns between song placement and rotation of songs, but this past MPP run had me feeling like the band is hearing what the folks in the lot were saying.

Both moments happened on N2. Many, many people were saying “that was too slow of a show” after N1 while walking out. I didn’t think so but lots of people said it to me that night typically followed by a show count to solidify their opinion (“I been to 300 shows” etc.) and then the next night the band plays “Fast Enough For You” seemingly responding to the criticism on the street. Whether that is accurate or not, I was howling thinking this is the way the band responds to the criticism and talks a little shit themselves: with a song responding but not directly. Pure genius and a subtle dig for the ones that got it. Idk maybe so maybe not.

Then all day while hanging in the lot I was saying that they should do a 50 min jam because what’s bigger than a 30 min jam? specifically a 50 min Carini. Whenever someone asked what song I wanted I said that specifically multiple times bc it was what I truly wanted.

Didn’t get one, but damn if I didn’t get a mega 40 min Carini. Like wtf how do they do it?!

I know all of this could just be coincidence. Have they done stuff like this before?

I wish people would stfu about other people haha. Comments about how I kept taking my sunglasses or what they called “goggles” on and off . Comments about how I blew my vape smoke at the ground and how it “wasn’t crack lmao” but at least their friend defended me and said I didn’t wanna get it in someone’s view . Correct!! Comments about how they needed to get me a pack of cigarettes bc I hit my vape so much and how they needed to also get me a lanyard for my sunglasses . A girl got defensive on the lawn at me and said to her friends I keep “opening my fan at her “ but her friend defended me and said just blocking the sun from my face . Also correct !! Mostly harmless but just intrusive as hell come on y’all lol

That is just my gut and part of it is a wish, but look at the Schvice, the posters, the photos in the promo and all of the focus on 92-96. A boy can dream, but I think these shows are going to be more than just 5 great nights at MSG and I'm here for it!

The theory of many North Carolinians on why Raleigh was THE heater of the tour is that the band was apologizing for their last trip to North Carolina (7/18/23 – 7/19/23). Do you agree? 

NC shows can be hit or miss and we temper our expectations accordingly. But our stoke couldn’t be contained for the 7/18/23 and 7/19/23 run in Wilmington, NC. It was a first time for the new, small (capacity 7200) venue in a great town where the band was on a tear after 3 nights in Alpharetta and supposed to blow our dicks right off our bodies. Alas, other plans were in store: 7/18 was a complete, uninspired dud (2.722/5 on the phishnet). The band must agree. The next night (7/19) was cancelled for thunderstorms right when they started picking up steam in set 2 (3.295/5), not their fault (Fishman: “Taylor Swift didn’t stop”), but it still happened. https://youtu.be/9AHCeL8owQA?si=d-ZbF22-rlFLo4nX

In summary, they were sorry about how both nights went down so when they came back three years later, they blew our dicks RIGHT off our bodies, and we accepted our smooth new physiques.

Kinda mad they told them to wrap up in Syracuse, the rain had peaked and the storm part was past. The weather was awesome.

Some guy at mpp was apparently pretending to grab my ass . My neighbors told me and said they wanted to kick his ass and proceeded to stand near me cuz he was tall enough to block him . He eventually left after getting in an argument with someone. His energy said “I’m here only for predatory reasons.” Thank you to that couple my bf and I didn’t notice . Also kept hearing some dudes behind me keep saying “her ass is fire” and “I wish she’d take her hair down”. And commenting on everything I did. It was beyond intrusive . Thanks for listening, just wanted to vent!
