This morning I received a notification on my iPhone that a deposit for 5$ from “Paypal Inc”. I known the name of the people who send me money by heart and the avenues they use so it was weird. I checked the app without clicking the notification and sure enough there was no 5$ deposit. I took a screenshot of the notification, checked the security on my phone it was fine and moved on. But just now I got two more notifications of two random small amounts by “Paypal Inc” again and even if I’ve received money since then from sure sources with emails those two random amounts have nothing to do with that no email or anything. Has anyone ever faced this issue? What’s the next step?

Due to the changes to PayPal Rewards I stopped using it. I was in my PayPal account today and noticed my Rewards account had 25 cents. Since the redemption-for-cash ends Aug 1, I decided to just redeem it for cash, "accept the money" and then transfer it to my CU. But after I "accepted the money" it turns out the transfer minimum is $1.

Now, I obviously don't care about 25 cents, but is my PayPal account henceforth always going to say I have 25 cents in it? Will that subject me to some sort of fee(s) in the future? If so, what's the easiest way to just get rid of it?

Hi, in the fees page of paypal website, it says that when withdrawing to an Egyptian bank account, I need to pay a fee of 125EGP

But I plan to withdraw USD funds from PayPal to a USD account given to me from Banque Misr (Foreign currency account given to me by an Egyptian Bank)

So how will it go? I don't want to risk it because the fees are already outrageous

They sent me my weekly wage as promised for the past two weeks, but this week the F paypal suspended my account.

First they gave me false hope and then after three attempts to file a dispute, they said to call the police or ic3.com or contact the seller (which is probably the scammer) with no contact info. F Payp pal.

I ordered a drawing from an artist with a set deadline. Unfortunately, they couldn't complete it in that time despite assurances – okay, it happens, everyone can have unexpected situations. I had no problem extending the drawing deadline by two weeks. However, the artist still couldn't complete the drawing. The matter is now three months old, during which I received one sketch (in a completely different style than the one I ordered) and one update when I wrote that I didn't like one of the panels shown and wanted a change. It was a manga page commission, so it wasn't even a full-body pose, just a facial expression. Responses to my inquiry were very rare, mostly a few days after my messages. I contacted the artist to cancel the commission without any problems, but they assured me they would complete the drawing within a week. However, they still haven't responded. Additionally, I saw on the artist's profile that they were actively looking for new drawing orders during that 3-month period.
I filed a complaint with PayPal for a refund and received a message saying we're waiting for a response from the seller until Saturday, July 25th. I have attached screenshots from the conversation with the artist. What if they don't respond by then? Will I receive a refund or will Paypal close the case and I will be left without a refund or drawing?

I have used the Pay in Four checkout option many times since launching in Canada without issue. I have never made a late payment, in fact, I have paid my balances off early several times. I’ve always used my RBC Visa Debit card. Approximately 3 weeks ago, I was no longer able to use my Visa Debit for new Pay in Four plans, nor would it allow me to pay the remaining balance on my existing plans with that specific card. I called PayPal and the agent informed me that they are aware of an issue with RBC Visa Debit cards and they are “working on resolving the matter”. I have been unable to find any information online about this. Wondering if anyone here is having the same issue.

I’ve been a longer term user of PayPal and have paid of credit funds consistently
What are the reasons for my dismissal?
What do you mean for safety of your systems ?

videos and pictures of packaging obviously don't work and ofcourse they claim to have received an item with the same weight as the item i sent. is there nothing i can do?

Recently ordered an item of clothing from a store in Europe,

Item showed up and was very clearly a counterfeit (and not even a very good one)

Reached out to the seller on PayPal and of course they deny it is fake so escalated to a dispute.

Paypal are now asking me to send the item back to recieve a refund, now I have no issues with giving the item back if the seller supplies a shipping label and take legal responsibility for the package (they won't) but I'm not about to break multiple laws at paypals request to get my refund back.

Reached out to them by phone today just to confirm that they did want me to willingly break the law and send a counterfeit item overseas to which the only reply I got was "its not really illegal"

I tried buying a phone with PayPal instalments that was offered in Italy, I'm a resident for 4 years and I have all the necessary paperwork ( EU citizen). PayPal gave me that option and I clicked to try it, all went well, payment went through although I had no money on my account.

I received the invoice for the payment, couple minutes later PayPal sends me that my account has insufficient funds and I should add the full amount immediately. I thought there's no way that I would get the phone so I just ignored it. Few days passed and I received an email that my phone has been shipped, PayPal sent me an email again that I am in dept after I received my phone. I tried explain to the support and I wanted to actually pay by instalments since I already have the phone but they refused to give me that option even though they showed me in the first place and went on with it.

Now they have sent my case to some dept collector from Italy named Fire. Operation.

What I wanna ask is, will I have any problem with this company? Can they force withdraw money from my bank account? I'm okay on paying in instalments but I can't afford the whole amount at once.

I have a payoneer account registered in early 2021. I never actually used it untill Feb 2024 and there was only I payment I received and which I withdrew in the same month. Since then, there has been no activity and my balance has been 0.

I received a publisher payment from an ad network and payoneer deducted $29.9 twice. a total of $59.9 .

I read somewhere that the annual charge does not apply on accounts with 0 balance. and that if a 0 balance account receives a payment, the annual fee is deducted 12 months after the payment received date.

It’s just super annoying I already put the tracking info in the claim and they said they were waiting for the item to arrive before closing it. How much of a chance do they really have to do anything if I shipped the item already and added tracking? Is it worth escalating now or just letting it play out?

A friend sent me money through PayPal and selected “Goods and Services” by mistake, so now I’ve been charged a fee and the money is currently on hold.

This is my first time ever filing a chargeback. I used pay in 4 for an item and it came different than advertised (NAD). I reached out to the seller and when they didn’t respond for a few days, I opened a claim.
The seller eventually responded and offered a partial refund to keep the item via email which I accepted. Seller admitted via email that there’s been some issues. A couple of weeks go by and refund hasn’t been received and my clock on my claim is ticking.
Seller says PayPal is blocking refund so I’ve to close out case. PayPal says no pending transactions.

What can I do? Should I close the case? Escalate the case?
The seller confirmed in the resolutions center that they tried to issue the partial refund but it’s not going through. If I escalate the case, I don’t want to get a full refund, just what me and the seller agreed to. Is that possible?

Seller says they cannot cancel refund from their end and cannot do it through PayPal resolutions center.

So i got customer from germany, he ordered dental aplliance, all smooth transaction from order to delivery, until one day message from paypal "shipping info not provided". I was thinking, well this is weird, because customer has been already notified via email and text messages, so i replied to "shipping not provided" all links to the carriers "hermes home delivery, that package is in his home city and will be handed to customer tomorrow.

What was weird was, the next day I got "item not delivered" claim from this person.

I posted paypal all documents i have - tracking, proof of delivery - hand to hand!

Yet paypal stole my money and refunded him. So he now have my product, and my money.

I will never use paypal again
