Updated for PoE Version 3.29 — Curse of the Allflame

Here’s a quick overview of what’s new:

Ascendancies

• Added the new Luminary ascendancy (Scion)
• Reshuffled the Reliquarian notables to the new 3.29 set
• Updated reworked notables: Deathmarked and Mystical Infusion (Assassin), Ritual of Awakening (Hierophant), Instruments of Zeal (Inquisitor)
• Added new notables: Instruments of Justice (Inquisitor) and Unhallowed Rite (Occultist)

On the Luminary art: the ascendancy image is an AI-generated placeholder for now — the official art wasn’t available yet when I pushed this update. I’ll swap it out for the real thing as soon as it’s out. Just didn’t want it sitting there with a broken icon in the meantime.

Gems

• Added the new Mana-Infused Staff skill gem — Templar quest reward, and a vendor gem for Witch, Shadow, and Templar at A Fixture of Fate
• Refreshed all quest reward and vendor gem data for 3.29

General

• Planner now defaults to PoE 3.29

As title statess, potential Act 1 Improvement . Seems like he is blocking the way to the Cavern of Wrath. Huge improvement to this area, as it removes the need to travel to the Ship Gravyard Cave (Might have a new quest there or it is being removed all together)! Good Change!

Im looking to start an earthshatter berserker for fast progression and was looking for some tips on making around 10 divs day 1 to buy some uniques and reroll, Does anyone have any general strats/tips of making very early currency

From what I know, damage taken increased by chill effect cannot stack. This means the keystone cannot stack with Bonechill same as Ahuana's Bite. Also, cannot deal non-cold damage is way way worse on cold builds than lightning and fire builds because Heatshiver exists.

So basically the upside is nonexistent while the downside is massive

In the upcoming league I would like to farm stacked decks with diviners deli orbs. I would like to get some insights about which builds I could look at. I have a couple of options currently:

- Bino Mamba Assassin

- Righteous Fire Chieftain

- Blade Vortex (I think its dead but im not sure?)

- Luminary merc carry

- Other options?

I would like a fast mapper which isnt button intensive, preferring an autobomber playstyle.

With the removal of Allflames from Betrayal, this scarab feels totally out of place. Please make it improve Betrayal in some way instead of randomly affecting the new league.

Some possible options:
- Increased intelligence gains.
- Maps contain all 4 syndicate encounters.
- Interrogation extracts information 50% faster.

I'll take anything at this point. Betrayal lost so much value this patch that it honestly feels shelved even though it's one of the 4 main master missions. I kept waiting for this scarab to be updated in the patch notes, but I guess renaming Dark Pact to Dark Bargain took priority. Please make this Betrayal scarab a BETRAYAL scarab. Sorry for the rant, but the obvious neglect this mechanic is getting genuinely saddens me.

Hi all, I have far too much levelling gear and low level uniques/jewellery/other items etc in standard.

I am looking for a tip how to craft following large cluster jewel for my build this league:

Basically I care about having Prismatic Heart and Sadist at the front on a 8p jewel.
So definitely ilvl 68-74 8p base.

I tried couple of things on craft of exile:
- no interesting fossil combinations (200 tries of 4socket resonators)

- alt/augment for Sadist and suffix, then regal Prismatic Heart -> that's 38 regals, tons of alt spam (527 per regal attempt) so like ~20k alterations. And my sanity.

Do you know a better way?

Nvidia released a hotfix driver for PoE2 this morning that fixes issues with the dx12 shader cache

I upgraded, logged into PoE2, and other than what felt like the normal shader rebuilds, could not get the game to hitch and get the dreaded "gearing"

I wondered if whatever fix was made for poe2 translated into poe1 as they are effectively the same engine under the hood and was pleasantly surprised

I went ahead and logged into a character in poe1 and juiced it as much as possible and could not get the dreaded "gearing" issue in dx12.

I do not think we will see a WHQL official release before Friday, so if you want a gearing-free league start, I wanted to reccomend this to everyone else who has been frustrated with the freezing in both games for a long time.

It looks like 50 series card owners finally have an option for a driver that does not have issues in both poe1 and 2

Everybody is talking about skill gem changes. I also want to point out this in patch note.

• The waypoint in The Solaris Temple Level 1 in Act 8 has been moved closer to the Level 2 entrance.

Drop portal when you reach the fork leading to level2 and solaris concourse

Run to the waypoint but do not go in level2

Teleport back to town and come back through portal

Keep moving to the solaris concourse.

Go get your luanris orb

Then come back to temple get your solaris orb.

This can at least save your 10s, which is super important because you can use this 10s to pee, while others are still running.

Just pushed an update to Exile Compass, it now supports PoE 1. We've ported the Exile Leveling guide by HeartofPhos directly into the overlay.

We also went back to something closer to our old UI and supports a few themes you can choose from.

Let me get straight into the lion's mouth:

1. I'm not planning on starting Winter Orb.
2. I got into this WOrb 'situation' because of how it works (mechanically speaking) and it got very interesting. Made another post about that a few days ago, regarding overlaps: Link Here
3. I don't understand why people only recommend Elementalist and Occultist for this build (I actually know why, because Ele = Golems = easy life).

Here me out and I really hope this helps everyone plan this out. I'm not here to create builds but to give ideas and open eyes.

RELIQUARIAN, might be a contender for this build.

Why ? Let's get into this:

Starting it is going to be harder, as a scion, there is no doubt, so let's just get over this fact.

Let's break this down a bit.

Part 1 - Reliquarian Ascedancy & Bloodlines

1. Elevore / Dawnbreaker - I'd go directly for Dawnbreaker it's a direct mitigate/defense, a no brainer. Elevore will be exaplained down the line so bear with me.

2. Xirgil's Crank / Shimmeron - Xirgil's Crank direct dmg increase without bothering to much from +1 to All Spells and might also be a VERY good defense for End Game with the ES Start on block. / Shimmeron for Power Charge stacking, regardless of how you stack them you can get at least 6 which means 48% Crit Multi + 1.8% Crit + 18% Spell Block.

3. Polaric Devastation - Direct dmg increase from Cover in Frost and since Winter Orb has 25% freeze in next patch you don't even have to crit.

Bloodlines instead of Polaric:
A. Velka - Salt and Scale or Tide Caller + the new Bitter Frost Keystone
B. Breachlord - Tul of the Blizzard
C. Probably other Bloodlines combined with other stuff or items.

Part 2 - Forbidden Jewels (the interesting 'shit')

As far as I'm aware Reliquarian can equip Forbidden Flesh and Flame with notables from The Ascendant (the 1st Scion ascendancy), so....

1. Guardian - Reservation & Defense
2. Inquisitor - DPS & Consecrated Ground
3. Occultist - Curse # + Sustain
4. Assassin - DPS + Sustain + Anti-ref
5. Saboteur - AoE + DPS + Sustain (from my opinion this is Juicy AF)
6. Trickster - DPS - Leech - AntiSlow (for CI swap + insta leech ?)
7. Deadeye - DPS + Proj # + Frenzy + Tailwind (another Juicy one)
8. Warden - Defense (combine with Elevore from ascendancy you get 45% chance to Suppress)
9. Slayer - AoE + DPS (Culling and AoE while clearing, another Juicy one)

Also, don't forget you start in the middle of the tree, as a Scion, and you can add:

1. A juicy Unnatural Instinct on the left jewel to get: 20% skill effect duration + 36% AoE + 9% cast speed + Life Regen.
2. Combine it with a Light of Meaning.
3. Go for Magebane (might work with Elevore + Warden).
4. Easy access to ES scaling, in case you go CI (or maybe low life).

Now that you've seen all this, what do you think ? Am I wrong, am I correct, maybe in between or is this just a complete non-sense ?

Those things might combine with other stuff as well, but as I said, I'm not here to create a build but to open up other eyes. I might of missed a lot of crap while writing...so take it with a grain of salt.

I was wondering if anyone has seen or heard any news about the changes to reflect being applied to sources of reflect immunity?

The json files of the skill tree have been published and there is no change to the wording of things like Bastion of Elements Elementalist node where it grants reflect immunity.

Either reflect still exists somewhere in the game, they forgot about these mods, or it’ll work as thorns immunity? A real downgrade of Bastion of Elements imo if that’s the case.

Hi all, with the recent nerfs to lettuce and berries by introducing the Cyclospora keyword to them, I am feeling a little bit lost on how to league start efficiently and not shit myself. I personally also am recovering from a gallbladder removal so anything with a lot of fat can still make me shit myself, a normal amount is fine but the canes combo unique is out of the discussion for me.

Just wondering what everyone else's league start food plan is for 3.29, fatty or not. Interested to see how everyone builds for their own str stat in mind. Stay sane, exiles!

edit: it appears i was wrong about mercs. The mercskills on item is for merc contracts. guardian does return an array of items, so most definitely refers to a character's AG

... but aside from dots and select few skills, this is how the buffs feel to me. Nevertheless, I think the league will be amazing.

GGG promised there would be ways to specialize in what mercs you can find on the atlas tree to help you find the mercenary you want.

However most people who are playing Luminary want the Kineticist mercenary. But with the nodes shown (https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree has the new tree) there is no way to increase the chance of seeing Kineticist. The Kineticist is a Scion, and is Int/Str/Dex aligned. The only nodes that exist either boost two classes (none of which are Scion), or reduce the amount of classes you see aligned with a particular stat. In other words, you can't boost Kineticist's chances at all, only reduce them.

So if you're on SSF, good luck finding a good merc. On trade you can buy one if people are listing them, but the price will be significantly higher than what you might've thought.
