South is awful, likely first seed if team continues to not get in BY9's way. He's one of the greatest college players ever for a reason. Just block and catch on offense and tackle on defense and he will find a way to win

The Panthers simply have to be a better offensive team than they've been the past two years. They need to be more diverse, can't rely on the run game as much and be able to move the ball consistently through the passing game.

They are largely banking on growth from Bryce, the young WRs, Brooks returning to the RB room and 3 new starters on the OL to gel. We saw flashes of what this offense could be at times a year ago, but on the whole, it was still an underwhelming unit.

I feel great about the defense and its ability to take a step forward. It's harder to hold that same confidence in the offense going into camp.

Getting to a league average offense with the expected leap from the defense would have the Panthers in the playoffs.

How does everyone feel about the offensive side of the ball going into camp?

Panthers at the 21 spot. This comes as a surprise as ESPN had the Panthers at 12 just last year.

I would attribute this to our two best under-25’s playing the same position (wr) and no huge bright spots at impact positions (QB, LT, LB, CB)

I think they will go back up to the top-15 after this year and our draft class showcases some of their potential.

I expect both Scourton and Phillips to start, but both have played on the left side their entire careers. Switching from left to right means you have to push off the opposite foot and use your non-dominant hand for pass rush moves. Also, Left Tackles are typically more athletic than Right Tackles, and require different moves.

So who do you think gets the nod? Are either talented enough to switch sides without slowing down?

Hey everyone I am currently pursuing a career in sports media , taking some classes in the fall , I am looking to start creating my own content on YouTube and Spotify starting out by focusing on the team I’m most passionate about the Carolina panthers , I would love if anyone could give me any advice and tips in creating sports content such as how to use highlights in videos , editing and just about everything involved really , thank you in advance to anyone that can help and keep pounding

With Moton and Ekwonu both injured, and last year's swing tackle Yosh Nijman retiring, the depth at tackle entering the season is precariously thin. Stone Forsythe is not a serious swing tackle option for a team with postseason aspirations. While Brady Christensen technically can play tackle, he is probably best suited to be a backup guard and emergency tackle. The only other OTs on the roster are UDFAs that are most likely just camp bodies or practice squad candidates.

There are several free agent tackles still available that could be an immediate upgrade over Forsythe. Top of the list for me would be Cam Robinson. He's been a bottom end starter at LT for most of his career, but he would be perfectly fine as the first guy off the bench in a backup role. He could also be a decent trade piece if and when Moton or Ekwonu is back healthy. There's some question if he could play RT, but he's also never really been asked to before.

Option #2 is Jack Conklin, most recently with the Browns. Conklin is a two-time first team All Pro, but he's had some pretty serious injury issues of his own that have affected his performance on the field. There is a lot of risk with a guy like Conklin, but I would still kick the tires on him and at least bring him in for a physical. Maybe playing in a reserve role would help him stay healthier.

Kendall Lamm is more of a pure backup tackle, but he could at least compete for a roster spot with Forsythe. Lamm knows Robert Hunt well from their time together in Miami. Of note, Lamm is from Charlotte and played college ball at App State. He's probably the most cost effective player of the bunch.

Taylor Decker is probably a little too good and too expensive to be a viable option. He would compete with Walker for the starting LT job (and probably win it). The Panthers would have to do some restructures to free up enough cap space to sign Decker, which is presumably not something they would want to do this late in the offseason. Still, if they are serious about competing for more than just a one and done playoff appearance, Decker is at least worth considering.

I recently started a YouTube channel talking about the Panthers and made this short just talking about Bryce Young and how proud I am as a fan to see him on the top 100 list.
