My obligatory getting back into it family photo... It's been fun digging all of these out and getting them running again.

I know most of y'all hate ANS, but I was trying to get the referral link to work for my buddy because their site says when the referred person spends 50+ they get a $20 reward as do you. Or well that's what it says on my computer, phone and coworkers computer. They told me they wouldn't honor it because its supposed to say $120. Anyone else confirm the attached is what you see?

Looking for people’s experience on attending big professional tournaments like the upcoming Lone Star Open and World Cup! Also, for people that have attended an event like the 2 I mentioned, would you go again?

Also, looking for tips and tricks to maximize my time/enjoyment at these events! Stuff like, when to show up, what to expect with food/drinks, best place to sit, etc. a group of us who just got back into the sport are strongly considering attending the World Cup, so any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Here is a list of mine I’ve learned through the years

1. Have a cloth attached to a retractable lanyard on your belt. Most golf rags will have a loop built in them
   
2. For Rec ball that involves climbing stares and being in structured turf shoes are superior to cleats
   
3. Use neoprene laptop cases for hopper and tank ($9.99 on Amazon) vs buying paintball specific protective cases
   
4. You’ll be the most popular guy at the field if you bring a cooler full of cold drinks
   
5. I focus on hydrating the day before rather than just pounding water the day of
   
6. Bring snacks
   
7. Carry extra batteries in your gear bag
   
8. Paintball caddy pod filler are 100% worth the price. Ballsack is a good option too
   
9. Bring a spray bottle with water and dish soap. Cheap and easy way to clean your mask
   
10. Knee pads will save your knees

I need a tank and loader for my glory day setup as I get back into the sport. I want a halo too, I don’t care for the new loaders that all look exactly the same as each other. But I am weary of the halo being outdated or something? I’m assuming it’s heavier and I know it’s harder to clean because of the shell design.

Is it a perfectly fine loader to use at 12bps or less? It’s significantly cheaper than the other options.

I'm curious if anyone knows how well they fit into the mask. If they found trouble and what was the work around. I know to get the smaller 50mm frame glasses but I'd like someone opinion who has actual experience on this.

I’ve played rentals before, and would like to join the sport. I have no budget, just looking for something reliable, easy to work on, and with a wide variety of upgrades/ aftermarket. I’ve heard good things about the Etha 3M and GTEK 180R.

I am using an lpr from an f7 for the front cap. I removed the internals thinking a front cap is just a front cap but it's leaking from the hole pictured.

I used 015 orings on the lpr body. Is there an Internal oring I'm missing?

Okay so I own an Empire Sniper, and one of the O-Rings on the body of my valve went bad, so I decided to order an entire new spare O-Ring kit for the gun, which is on its way now. However in the meantime, so that I can still use it this weekend when I go to play, I went and picked up the size o-ring I needed and threw it on there. Put the valve back in, put the gun back together, and it seemingly works fine. Can’t sweetspot it or test it out over a chrono until I go play, but it airs up fine and the marker is cycling fine.

My question is: the manual for the gun recommends using a 90 durometer o-ring around the valve body, however the ones they sell at local hardware stores and the like are all 70 durometer o-rings, and I just wanna make sure the o-ring will actually be okay for at least a days worth of play?

The internet — from what I’ve looked up — seems to think it would be fine, due to the marker only operating at a pressure of 225-250psi, as apparently 70 durometer o-rings can handle up to 1500psi, but I’d just like to make sure. And also even if I can’t, I feel like the worst that could happen is I just blow the o-ring again right? 🤔 I know this is all probably a stupid question and just me overthinking but still, any help would be appreciated lol 😂

Has anyone here ever used an Ex-Fog kit on their proflex? I tried and it was immediately useless. I thought I ran the tubing to good spots but they sit different when I actually put the mask on.

If anyone could please dm me with advice about where to run the tubes that would be super. Doesn't seem to be any tutorials anywhere. (There are but for a proflex specifically there is not) I'd definitely be willing to upload one to YT if someone could tell me what I need to do.

I am a bigger guy and run hot. I also HAVE to have my glasses or I cannot function like a regular human. My regular mask is a CRBN ZERO PRO with their proprietary Stormer Fan. I could NOT wear my CRBN without that fan.

Second edit for the slower folks: Proflex is BRAND NEW and SO IS THE LENSE. I REPEAT: THE LENSE IS NOT THE PROBLEM, EVERY MASK I WEAR FOGS.

Before I buy a new board. Anyone have any ideas on a way to fix the broken battery prong (left) on this Rail?

Local field just got Glowball and I've got a camo Rotor I've never liked. I want to sand it, prime it, paint it with a base color, then paint over it with a UV reactive paint. Might try the same with a mask if it works well.

Any recommendations for a UV reactive paint that'd work well for this and wouldn't flake too easily?

I figure something was going to be broke, but everything is in perfect shape. Fella said it's been sitting in his closet for 7 years, and just wanted to get rid of it . 🤯

Got it home and the etha 2 shoots amazing, rotor feeds flawlessly.

Daughter is stoked to have her own marker now!

And of course I found out there was 3d printed parts for the etha 2, had to print a UV reactive body.
