Using the missile boy from the older push fit kit and a primaris infernus bit. I plan the run blood axes so they traded for some really good loot.

Just finished painting this model 29 years after it's release... At least my pile of shame is one model smaller.

Just posting this cause I need somewhere to sorta talk about it? I've been painting my Armageddon Ork set slowly but I'm constantly wanting to change between painting Evil Sunz or Blood Axes. They both are just so awesome but I want my army to stay consistent in it's colouring too... I think I like Blood Axes more now but I've already painted 70% of my army Evil Sunz. And heck, now I'm thinking of Bad Moons too cause the Nazdreg release is so good!

I painted an ork again.

pretty happy with him. the NMM was just a test to try and get a good scuffed metal look (and then i made the arm a bit cleaner so it stood out more). its a bit brighter than id like but its a first of many where i am trying to improve. however im very happy with the copper NMM on the bolts and barrel.

the base was absurdly simple because i wanted to try getting the scorched earth look where shrapnel has burned the ground. worked well... but the ork covers the effect so its not the most prominent here.

looking forward to messing around with the rest of the beast boys box and then working on the armageddon bunch.

Got the chance to do a big old lot of orks! It's the armeggedon set x2 plus a combat patrol plus a whole bunch of vehicles. I wanted to have a nice vibrant green skin paired with a pop of red for speed of course. If your interested in the sauce let me know I'll post some links.

After the update i can't find the ability to add 2 leaders if there's 20 boyz

Tried slapchop this time, with some oil wash and dirty down rust & verdigris on top. Was very fast and fun!

With the release of the new Detachment I had a horrifying idea capable of letting me touch Da Great Green! 3-20 boyz squads each with a painboss, 6" scout from the new Detachment, 5+ invuln from Greentide.

But before I could see Gorks and Morks vision made manifest, GW cut the vision short...

Honestly though between Guard and pretty much all generic ork leaders getting a point increase, Guardsmen being consistnely over costed, and a tax on having more than 3 squads of boyz, it feels GW it trying to slowly strangle out all the hoard armies from being hoards.

Now I feel more confident and can keep on painting my Weirdboy, will post once I finish it.

And yet they didn't bother to rename "Fire Overwatch" to "Dakkadakkadakka!"

I feel like I like it but also I feel like I can barely tell I highlighted it despite having 4 layers of highlights on the skin, any cc?

Also I’m not feeling the grey pants with the off white shirt, will change that to brown
