Looking for some organizational inspo - I’m into all sorts of crafts and have all sorts of messes 😂

I’ve done my best with these boxes. For clothes I don’t care about wrinkling, they work great. The problem is t-shirts and polos — even when I put them in carefully, they always come out wrinkled.

So here’s my plan, and I’d love a sanity check:

**•** **T-shirts:** hang them on hangers in the space next to the boxes. I know you’re not supposed to stretch out the collar when hanging them.

**•** **Polos:** since hanging polos isn’t recommended, I was thinking of pulling the boxes off the middle shelf and stacking them instead. But stacks have a problem — when I grab a polo from the middle, I end up wrinkling the rest.

**•** **Folding space:** I also need a flat surface to fold the polos when they get wrinkled. My idea was two stacks on the sides with an open space in the middle for folding.

Any advice on making this work? Especially the stacking problem.

TL;DR: Trying to store t-shirts and polos without wrinkling them. Planning to hang the tees and stack the polos, but stacks get messed up when I pull from the middle, and I need a spot to fold. Open to better ideas

My son has a lot of toys that are staff shaped e.g., light sabers, swords, etc. Any ideas on organizing these? I usually shove them in a corner behind other buckets and such but I’d like them to have a dedicated place to make it easier for him to clean his room

Do you sort by genre, artist, year? What's the most efficient way you feel they can be organised on your laptop?

I have so many mp3 files on my laptop, but I can't figure out the best way to keep them sorted and accessible

Just moved into an apartment that has very small cabinets. Everything was kinda just thrown in there before, so I rearranged it to be a little more functional.
Does anyone have any better recommendations for these pots and pans? My current set up is the best I could do, but it’s annoying having to pull everything out to get to one specific pan. I would love one of those pull out organizers, but everything I’ve found needs a bit more space than I have to function properly :/

Let’s make this summer your most organized one yet!

Just moved into a rental and this closet has become my office/storage closet. It needs to store computer accessories, office supplies, household items, cleaning supply backstock, and other miscellaneous storage.

My biggest issue is accessibility. The builder shelf and hanging rod make it hard to use the full depth of the closet, and since I’m renting I can’t remove them.

How would you organize this? Are there any renter-friendly shelving or storage solutions you’d recommend? I’m open to spending money on a system if it’s functional and makes better use of the space.

I would love to hear people’s thoughts and opinions on this because it’s been on my mind a lot recently.

We all have met those people out there who think they’re organized and maybe their system works for them, but to other people it’s chaos, cluttered, and even overwhelming.

I recently started a new job and the computer filing system is a mess. Things saved under all sorts of different folders under different names things like that. As a new person, it takes me a while to find the documents I need because for one project it’s labeled smith and the same document for another project is labeled jones.

My boss has said quite a few time that he prioritizes organization within the projects and wants me to follow suit. He claims he likes to keep xyz neat and filed away nicely but at the same time seems scattered in general. I get the system makes sense and works for him, but to me… it’s an absolute mess. I just have noticed over the years that disorganized people seems to be more frazzled or scattered in general but more so in stressful times and this is definitely the vibe I’m getting from him.

This just got me thinking in general because I’ve experienced people like this before where they think they have a great system and claim to be organized but to me (a self proclaimed organizational expert) it’s simply not true.

What are your thoughts? If someone claims they’re organized and it makes sense to them but is chaos to others, would you also classify them as an organized person?

Moms and dads out there. What systems do you have in your homes that you swear by and makes life with kids easy and going. Laundry systems, cleaning the house and just anything you can think of that you do for your house. I would love some tips and ideas now that I have three kids and want my days smoother.

I need help figuring out what a good flow for these cabinets would be. I do have a LOT of kitchen gadgets... a stand mixer, food processor, air fryer, blender... ideally I'd like them stored away, except likely the air fryer unless it could go somewhere easily.

We have not so many plates/bowls/cups but a good amount of tupperware, lid storage racks & bento boxes which are pretty large..

Right now we have plates, bowls in the far left upper cabinet, next to the fridge. The drawer underneath that has the silverware. To the far right we have snacks in the upper cabinet, and furthest right has a lot of my baking ingredients. The drawer underneath has my scale but my measuring cups are in the drawer next to silverware (along with spatulas, masher, etc)

Cabinet below has dry food/pantry items..

I also have a LOT of spices/seasonings 😅

We have a small hydroponics setup as well I want to put somewhere on the counter. And we also have the drying rack to the right of the sink now.

It's overwhelming me, the kitchen is full of things now and I just want to pack it all away so I can cook and bake comfortably again.

I got this Wonder Woman IGLOO cooler during their 50% sale. I don’t go out anywhere where I would need a cooler, but I think she has some great potential to be used for something, anything else. Thoughts? Opinions? Ideas?

Respectfully*** if some of you are just going to comment “uh a cooler, that’s what it’s for” or “why did you even buy it then” try to fight the urge to comment!!¡ I collect quite literally anything and everything DC, regardless of what it is or what its intended purpose is.

so i sell bows at events as a vendor but im not sure how to store them in the meanwhile. any ideas? i keep them attached to little cards so they look nice and neat but that makes them a little more bulky.

Any advice on how to optimize my kitchen space? I hate cooking or spending any time in there because I feel like it’s so difficult to navigate.

I live in a 300 sq ft micro studio with my husband. We have enough space for everything and maximize storage except for with clothes. Right now he uses two six drawer dressers for his clothing and keeps some things in the closet. My clothes all go into the closet, but it’s not full.

We use a plastic garage shelf in it. It is somewhat of a normal width closet that’s especially deep. I’d like to maximize the usable space but am not sure how. The dimensions are 30.5” wide, and 29” deep. Inner ceiling is about 7’ tall, and the door for it is 5.5’. I’m sort of thinking of installing shelves toward the back and a hanging rail at the front, or installing narrow u shelves or L shelves. Another option could be just deep shelves that go straight across and using bins.

Anyway, if anyone has had a similar situation or storage ideas, I’d love the help.
