I just got the mini companion, and i love it, its great and tiny and a perfect spot for the key implement and my sharpening stone mod with the t-shank, not fully sure what to use the 4th slot for, right now just package opener implement.
Im curious though for the 4mm driver, ive found the oknife 4mm bit kit works as double ended bits (just barely, they wobble a lot). But im interested in using 1/4 inch bits or flat leatherman bits with it, i know i can get an adapter from aliexpress to use standard bits, but id want to be able to close the adpater in with the tool, and any quarter inch adapter would be slightly too large, i think my ideal adapter would be something that goes from 4mm into the flat leatherman bit. (i just prefer the sheer amount of versatility the galvinox bit kit offers for its slim size)
im aware its 4 slots and i could use the standard bit driver implement, at that point it would be better to just use the 711L pendrive or carry the full flex companion instead, which im not interested in edc'ing
another option is putting the 1/4 driver from the full size flex companion into the mini, replacing the 4mm, Im not sure if the built in driver on the flex is thicker than the implement, if the spacer is removed from next to the 4mm driver i think it could fit, ill probably get a flex companion frame, purely to test this.
I dont want to edc the full flex companion
