We had an amazing time chasing the Big Boy across your beautiful state, with the rolling, green hills and wonderful bookends of St. Louis and Kansas City. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. The BBQ was incredible and the Royals gave us some winning baseball to top it off. This week made me proud to be an American!

I will say this with the words allegedly to avoid defamation but I may know someone from his past that he choked and beat at the time his romantic partner didn’t press charges unfortunately. I may have also been informed to look into his prior releases from jobs for alleged sexual harassment. Just thought I would say what he projects on TV isn’t his true character again “allegedly” but I think it’s important for voters to know. My friend seeing their abusers face brought up the old memories, I was given permission to share, I have known them 20 years, I did not know the abuse they experienced until they shared it with me after seeing a face and name they had tried to block for ages brought it all back up.

Of utmost importance is that amendment 4 only makes it harder for the people's will to pass, but leaves the old simple-majority rule in place for amendments proposed by the extremely gerrymandered, unrepresentative legislature. Ask yourself why this might be.

Learn from my mistake. I have a medical condition that flares up unpredictably, often necessitating an ER visit or hospitalization. A couple of years ago I ended up in the hospital on voting day and really had to advocate for a ballot hard. Not because staff didn’t want to help, it’s just not something that happens often. Social Services didn’t know what to do but fortunately another staffer in a different department just heard about my insistence and called the county clerk’s office and was directed to the correct voting authority. They sent out two staffers who verified my registration and took my absentee ballot with them.

Also, nursing homes are federally mandated to ensure their residents rights to vote are facilitated, unless deemed incapacitated.

My son was arrested for trying to prevent an adult from choking a young teenage kid. He lives out of a hotel in the Branson area because he cannot afford a place on his own. He applied for a public defender and was turned down. He doesn't even work 20 hours a week and lives with someone else just to be able to afford to live in a hotel. Needless to say he's basically homeless and has very little income. Can anyone recommend attorneys in the Branson Springfield area that would do payment plans? Or can anyone suggest how we can appeal the denial of services from the district attorney's office when everyone according to the Constitution is allowed legal representation. Are there any attorneys here that would possibly be willing to do it pro bono? If anyone has any suggestions for cross posting to other subs that might be able to help me please let me know. I would also like to add that my son is gay and I believe that this may possibly be a reason why he's being treated the way that he is.

Planted some young azaleas on the east side of my house (for that afternoon shade!) in a mulched bed recently. I was hoping I might be able to see some pics of yalls plants to get an idea of how they might do in the coming years as they establish and mature.

What kind of challenges have y'all faced with your azaleas? Certain fungal diseases or pests? Japanese beetles maybe?

While voting “Day” is August 4th, the election is the set period of time (per the states attorney general) leading up to and concluding with that day.

Early no excuse voting starts TODAY.

Here’s what you need to know:

TODAY through August 3rd you can vote early without being asked to provide a reason (Monday - Saturday. 8-5)

You can find your early voting locations on your county election board website.

Missouri is an Open Primary State, which means each voter can select which ballot they want to use to vote.
Libertarian, Independent, Democrat, Republican.

You do NOT have to be registered as the party whose ballot you choose. However, whichever ballot you choose you can only vote using that specific party ballot. Whichever ballot you choose will have specific candidates who are registered with that affiliation.

The 4 Amendments will be on each ballot state wide.

Your local election workers are your neighbors, friends, and family workers who have volunteered their time to serve their community. They have all gone through training for each election to make sure every vote counts, every detail of the law is followed, and that voting is as positive an experience as possible.

I'm in search of a lawyer i can speak to about a possible lawsuit. The Walmart near me employed an eye doctor far too old to still be working and he absolutely refused to listen to myself or my previous doctors about me needing a different prescription in each eye. He gave me the same prescription for each eye and told me "Don't worry, in a few months the weaker eye will become stronger and match the other eye". I tried to follow what he said and fast forward a year my vision is constantly crossed and I have double vision. I have severe muscle fatigue in my eyes from the straining to see straight. I now require special prism glasses to try and keep my visions straight. This doctor completely ruined my vision and ill never be able to see properly again. Im trying to find a lawyer willing to take this on.

I’ll admit I don’t have the highest hopes of getting Jogs Hallway to do something good for Missourians, but since he is naught but a moth who flies toward the light of power, maybe we can convince him that this will bolster his quest for higher office?
