Can anyone suggest me some new bands that you think are good?

I heard a midwest emo song a few months ago on instagram and i really liked it but i don’t remember the name of it. It starts off with a low ‘AAWWW’ vocal then some slow guitar chords

It was uploaded to YouTube in late 09, maybe January 2010. It’s about someone’s mom abandoning their family, I remember one of the Lyrics being “but I’m feeling sorry for myself” but that’s about All I can remember

An idea for a Midwest Emo song with Skramz(?) influence that I had, it's just a short clip, but I wanted advice + feedback on how it sounds to fans of the genre. Should I do anything with it?

Note: I recorded the clip over messenger, LOL, for the "at all", I plan to harmonize minor 3rds. I am NOT a singer but I love writing lyrics and vocal parts. It is acoustic by chance, just because that's what I had at the time. Also can somebody help me identify whether it's truly "Skramz" influence or if it's just a Midwest Emo song that happens to have screamed vocals.

To preface, I don’t think he’s midwest emo or really even any type of emo for that matter but idk where else to post this. I thought maybe his music could be folk punk but I’m not super sure. Wanted to hear other people’s insights.
