Looking for a Midwest emo song I only barely remember.
The whole song is a voicemail a guy leaves for his brother, and in it he says something like "I'm working at Whole Foods now, it's not that bad — I get an alcohol discount." That's honestly all I've got..
Voicemail, the Whole Foods job, the alcohol discount. Any ideas?

Hey guys, I really like the acoustic mid west emo songs from mom jeans and Modern Baseball. Anyone some good relatively niche band suggestions?

Right, so as everyone else you know which album I listened to first, and I really like the twinkly, slightly folk inspired things, I do like intense stuff but the past few weeks have been pretty stressful so Id like to have more calm stuff, SOME skramz stuff is also okay as my taste is very wide, but please do tell me your suggestions so I can BRANCH OUT into more midwest eamo

I know the song "Me, Myself, and Emory" but who is Emory? It never states it. Sorry if this is a stupid question lol

It was uploaded to YouTube in late 09, maybe January 2010. It’s about someone’s mom abandoning their family, I remember one of the Lyrics being “but I’m feeling sorry for myself” but that’s about All I can remember

An idea for a Midwest Emo song with Skramz(?) influence that I had, it's just a short clip, but I wanted advice + feedback on how it sounds to fans of the genre. Should I do anything with it?
Note: I recorded the clip over messenger, LOL, for the "at all", I plan to harmonize minor 3rds. I am NOT a singer but I love writing lyrics and vocal parts. It is acoustic by chance, just because that's what I had at the time. Also can somebody help me identify whether it's truly "Skramz" influence or if it's just a Midwest Emo song that happens to have screamed vocals.

I heard a midwest emo song a few months ago on instagram and i really liked it but i don’t remember the name of it. It starts off with a low ‘AAWWW’ vocal then some slow guitar chords

To preface, I don’t think he’s midwest emo or really even any type of emo for that matter but idk where else to post this. I thought maybe his music could be folk punk but I’m not super sure. Wanted to hear other people’s insights.

This is a studio-recorded soundtrack album crafted for an imaginary coming-of-age film. My collaborator Cold Hour and I drew from our shared youthful recollections to build this collection dubbed Memory Can. The brief tracks map out pivotal life scenes without fixed character motifs, inviting listeners to step into the story as their own protagonist.
It is also a nostalgic record with a unique twist. Most of these compositions were written over twelve years ago, born from an adolescence shaped by the works of Moonlit Sailor, Explosions In The Sky and Ef. Those melodies faded and slipped from my memory as years passed, their tone forever tied to that filtered, idealized youth. We acted as if piloting a time machine, resurrecting these sonic memories using two aging laptops and humble, basic gear. Unexpectedly, we also forged brand-new sounds and fresh recollections throughout the recording process.
Memories can bring us comfort just as easily as they can drag us into despair.I cut my memories into fragments and store them in sealed cans. I open one occasionally for a fleeting taste, then march onward.
