Discussion What do you think is the best part of the series as a whole?
For me it's the extremely efficient transition of the show from a comedy to a drama as the show continues, which i logically believe would be the realistic way people in that situation did/would react. Over time having to see and operate on people who were so young and having to watch so many of them die would traumatize even the strongest minds after so long of dealing with that on a daily basis. I also believe that this show was an enormous benefit to society because it made people who have never been in the military somewhat aware of the horrors of war from a different perspective. It also provides a lot of comedic material that shows, in my opinion, that laughter is truly great medicine when used appropriately and in that situation if you can't laugh you'd just cry. I know that obviously there were a lot of historical inaccuracies throughout the series but yeah what's do y'all think?
