Anyone using 'dust3D' to create low poly characters/creatures?
Looks interesting but haven't used it yet.
Feel free to share your experiences and creations!

Nowhere Road is a winter-themed driving and taxi game set in a post-war city. Drive through quiet nights, deliver passengers, and experience a calm, atmospheric world focused on immersion and slow-paced driving rather than speed or competition.

Been wanting to attempt stylized art, have never really done it before. After digging through dozens of art styles, I really dig this simple flat shaded look with slight hand painted details. I am really new when it comes to sculpting, let alone stylized art assets.
Will be using blender as my app of choice, if you have a better alternative i am open to changing this.
So yeah, I am kind of lost when it comes to wanting to make something like this. Pretty much all of my custom art assets have been props or foliage, never have made a full human model before. So looking for any tips you may have or any videos i can watch? Stuff like best sculpting settings or workflow, setup, best tools, ect. Every time I tried sculpting, I noticed everything was always so round, how do i keep things sharp, like the bottom of the pants for example.
My issue wont be painting / texturing, it will be setting up the sculpt to look good and on style.
Thinking I begin bottom down, probably starting with the pants first, as it seems to be very simple in shape (trying to copy the first image as close as possible for my first sculpt attempt). Then shoes, as it will be a little harder. Then move up to shirt, jacket, hands, and then lastly face and hair.
So yea, do I start with a simple shape and go from there? Or do i hard surface model it out first, and then sculpt after?

I'm starting to learn BlockBench after hating that software for a couple of years, now since I can defend myself a little in Blender I find BlockBench very simple and appealing to me so i made this minecrafty aah dragon, I made the second one and the rat when I was barely learning, but now I think I'm reaching my peak with this other one, what y'all think, i would appreciate some advice on modelling, I know the animation is like too stiff, I did this one gif quickly with 0 thought.

Game is called SWEYET(etc.) (wishlist/demo if you wanna check it out!)
I wanted to make the game psychedelic in both visuals and controls, but sometimes players were getting frustrated and quitting, thinking that something being obtuse was them being dumb (very far from true!).
Put together some clips of how it works, essentially there are these "globs" that you pickup in each level, that fill tablets into the dream world, where you brain rolls around looking for those things you dont know you know.

Hi everyone! 🌱
I just released the first demo of Glowing Life, a small cozy game I've been working on. And i would really appreciate Feedback on it :)
You play as a tiny being of light in a forest that has forgotten how to live. Wherever you linger, life returns — grass turns green, dead trees bloom, fireflies gather around you, and the world slowly awakens.

This is a small 4-level demo, and I'd genuinely love your feedback.
Did the forest feel alive?
Which moment stayed with you the most?
Every comment helps shape what I build next.
Thanks so much for taking a look! 🌿🎧
