Video Games [fully lost] Disney Fashion Flash Games

This post is about a list of Disney fashion flash games I found on an old blog post, which sadly, I no longer have access to, but recently remembered as I found one of the games' thumbnails on my files. I'll focus mainly on two of these games, since I remember them existing and playing them myself. Also, the blog post focused on games from the Latin American site, so I'm not sure if they were released in English as well.

The first of these games is the one I have the thumbnail of, titled "Talento para la moda" (Talent for Fashion) and it was based on the show A.N.T Farm. Though my memories about it are fuzzy, I remember it being a dressup game where you had to match a theme. Link to view the image.

As for the second game, it was based on Cruella De Vil. I don't remember the exact title, but it was something along the lines of "El Cuaderno de Cruella" (Cruella's Sketchbook." In the game, you could design different looks using her sketchbook.

There were also two other games mentioned in the blog post; however, I don't remember much about them other than them being related to High School Musical. One was a fashion game I believe, and another was a pottery game. Take those descriptions with a grain of salt though, because I really don't remember them quite well.

As for additional information: the original blog post which compiled the thumbnails for all these games was made on Blogger, but I believe it has since been taken down since I can't manage to find it anymore. As for the date these games where released, I believe they were available around 2013-2016, since the blue "play" icon that appears in the first game's thumbnail was in the style that the Latin American website had during that period of time. If anyone has information on any of the two fashion games (or even the High School Musical ones), that would be greatly appreciated.

Films Murder in Manhattan 2013 unaired pilot lost from youtube[unreleased media]Just

Centers on mother Blythe and daughter Lex who team up as amateur sleuths. The sassy Lex works in the Mayor's office by day, and works as sleuth with Blythe by night.

Just a month back it was on YouTube but suddenly the channel got terminated and it's gone.I don't remember the exact channel name but it might be Media Garage where the user posted a lot of unaired pilots.I am a huge Bridget Regan fan and it's a show she has looked one of the best in.The show had a lot of potential but somehow couldn't keep up with the expectations of the makers but I really enjoyed the episode. Please anybody can look into the file and search it up it'll be helpful.I've tried wayback machine but it can't generate any useful result.

Films Bring lost film Crazy Times 1981 to viewers, Starring Ray Liotta and David Caruso [unreleased media]

Hey everyone!

I’m a Ray Liotta fan and have been going through his entire filmography but hit a real roadblock with the 1981 TV film Crazy Times. I personally reached out to Warner Bros. Licensing, and they officially confirmed that the master tape for this film is safe in their vault.

The film also features early performances by David Caruso, Michael Paré, and Amy Madigan. However, corporate policy prevents the studio from releasing copies to individuals, so an official archival release is our only way to see it!

Change.org notes that petitions reaching 1,000 supporters are 5x more likely to get more attention and that can help reach a studio decision maker's attention. I created a petition to show Warner Archive that there is a real audience ready to buy or stream this piece of TV history and this coming of age story set in the 1950’s.

Please take 10 seconds to sign and share and thank you for your support in bring this film out of the vault!

Music [Partially Lost] “New Heights” and “Something New” albums by Syntax

Upvotes

How many of us here in r/lostmedia remember the band Galaxy Family, or the song Pull It From My Teeth? Years ago, a video was posted showing a display speaker playing that song and a hunt was launched for it. In the end, it was found, but along with it more mysteries were uncovered and have gone unanswered since this search.

In the very beginning, we were led to a song “Stitches - Odyssey Remix” by some band called Syntax. From there, we were led to the Spotify page for the band, and something was immediately apparent, this page was broken. All sorts of bands named Syntax from different genres had tracks listed under this account and none of them were this song.

In the end most abandoned this lead, maybe rightfully so as it turns out we were mislead anyways. However, something caught my eye and I’ve been searching for it ever since. Two full albums listed under this account, with full track lists and album art, but all unplayable.

I thought with the sheer amount of information available (compared to other lost media) I could find something, anything on this mysterious artist, and to my surprise I did! Kind of… To this day, I have managed to uncover two full tracks, and FINALLY managed to access the Amazon music page which allowed me to preview the entire New Heights album.

Unfortunately this is where the search stands so far. One track (OMFGWTFBBQ) was scraped via an unknown source from an unknown discord user, and the other was found on a Russian ringtone website (Summerstrings). Below I will link the two songs on my YouTube channel, the preview of all songs, and the Amazon Music page. Note: If you sign into Amazon, the album will show as no longer available.

Television [Partially Lost] - 2017 Japanese Harry Potter behind-the-scenes broadcast: "ハリー・ポッター お宝メイキング映像集"

Hi,

I’m really interested in the behind the scenes of the original movies and have exhausted almost every known Behind the Scenes special and documentary, save for one.

I'm trying to locate a recording, or any additional information, about a Japanese television program titled:

『ハリー・ポッター お宝メイキング映像集』
(Harry Potter Otakara Making Eizōshū / roughly “Harry Potter Treasure Behind-the-Scenes Footage Collection)

It aired on the Japanese CS movie channel ザ・シネマ (The Cinema) in April 2017. The channel was available through services including SKY PerfecTV channel 227 and SKY PerfecTV Premium channel 631. It was described as a subtitled collection of B-roll footage from the films, shown in an uncut and unedited form rather than as a conventional narrated documentary.

Anyone able to track it down, or know where I can find a paid version if available? My assumption is it's lost media just sitting on someone's DVR.

Thanks for any help!

Video Games [Fully lost] Super Mario Power Star Hunt - Duology of Roblox games that were DMCA'd

There are a lot of Roblox games that are now lost media. Due to the platform being online-only, if a game was taken down, chances are there's no way to retrieve it. Still, some people have managed to recover and restore old Roblox games, so I'm posting this on the off chance that anyone has the .rbxl files. I doubt it, but it's worth a shot.

Anyway, Super Mario Power Star Hunt was a pair of Roblox games that were based on the Mario series. The premise was similar to Super Mario 64; collect Power Stars to open up new levels. The first game definitely shows its age, but the sequel, Wrath of Bowser, was actually pretty good from what I remember. There are full playthroughs of both games on YouTube, but the games are currently unplayable, because they were DMCA'd by Nintendo.

Again, I really doubt that anyone has managed to archive these games, but on the off chance that they still exist, would anyone be kind enough to show me where I can find them? I'd really love to play these gems again. Thank you in advance.

Found [found] CF card that contains RAW BBC young reporter footage

I purchased a CF card that contains RAW BBC young reporter footage, what steps should I take to preserve the data properly while still being able to use the CF card for my own footage (CF cards are not cheap!!) I have already backed up the card as an ISO file but im not sure what I am and am not allowed to do with this data.

I feel like I should be able to upload it to the internet archive fine? but I have no experience with this and feel like it would be better in someone else's hands!

if you could give me any advice that would be a huge help!

thanks and kind regards

Television [Partially Lost] Chosen, UK supernatural drama, 2004

Upvotes

Chosen was a supernatural drama produced by the Boomerang Group in 2004 for ITV1/HTV Wales, Barcud Derwen, RTE Ireland, and DR Denmark. It stars Aislinn Sands, Joanne Crawford, Wuzza Conlon, Gareth Pierce, and Trystan Gravelle. I’ve been completely unable to find any recordings of this series, only a few photos so far, and very limited mentions of it by production companies or portfolios.

“CHOSEN is a chilling new paranormal series in which a group of twenty-something flatmates face increasingly supernatural crises, leading them to the horrifying conclusion that they share a common past, and have deliberately been brought together for some dark purpose.”

Series website, original domain expired in 2005: https://web.archive.org/web/20040320142132/http://www.chosentheseries.com/

IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435948/

Production entry by Derwen: https://web.archive.org/web/20050211063704/http://www.derwen.com/english/projects/proj7.php

TV Forum post from 2004: https://www.tvforum.co.uk/tvhome/chosen-11811

13 episodes were planned, 30 minutes each according to the Boomerang Group website: https://web.archive.org/web/20070126055023/http://www.boomerang.co.uk/e_television_productions.html

The episodes were aired in two periods between late 2004 and mid 2005:

 https://www.tvforum.co.uk/tvhome/granada-itv1-granada-chosen-htv-12763

There are recordings preserved by the National Library of Wales, but inaccessible to the general public:

https://discover.library.wales/permalink/44WHELF_NLW/k2tb4f/alma99363582702419

The first part of the series aired on September 9th 2004 in Ireland according to the IMDB page, and on ITV Wales 18th of September 2004 at 11 pm. I believe the second part aired on the 1st of August 2005 according to the recording date of the second library archive.

I’m really interested in Chosen because I like the actors involved, especially Trystan Gravelle, I believe this series was his first television role and it earned him a nomination as Best Newcomer for the 2005 Welsh BAFTA. It seems like it was relatively well received, and in general there seems to be a lot of lost Irish and Welsh media out there which is a shame. If you know anything more about this drama, or recall watching it, please comment, thanks!

Games within the Viber app? [fully lost]

Okay so I used to use Viber a lot back in 2020-2024 and I remember that at some point, the app used to have games within it similarily to Snapchat. Basically, in your chats list there would be one entitled either "games" or "Rakuten games" and when you opened it, there were clickable images in the chat that allowed you to directly enter a few games without leaving the Viber app.

I remember liking this feature a lot and really enjoying playing some of the games, including one that I dustincly remember was entitled "oden den" and it was kind of a cooking fever type game where you had to make odens for cat customers on a time limit. If I'm not wrong I also believe there was a "soccer" game where you just haf to kick the ball into the goal without the goalkeeper bunny catching it but that one I can't really remember the name of. There was a lot more games but I can only really remember these two.

Something else I also distinctly remember is that somewhere (likely in the chat or on the images you had to click to enter the games) it did say "Rakuten games." If I'm not wrong, this feature was removed from Viber around the same time as games were removed from snapchat although it may be that my memory is just playing tricks on me. To my srurprise, I couldn't really find any footage of these games online and the only record I could find of them ever existing is a couple of articles on some obscure websites as well as an old link that seems like it used to lead to the chat you would would access these games from (you can see the icon the chat used to have there)

Recordings [partially lost] Looking for any videos or photos of Montclair High School (CA) Marching Band from the 1998 season

I’m trying to track down any videos, photos, programs, from the **Montclair High School (Montclair, California) Marching Band** during the **1998 season**.

My dad was a member (drumline) of the band that year, and I’d love to surprise him by finding footage of him performing. I know it’s a long shot since most recordings were on VHS back then, but I’m hoping someone might have old tapes, photos.

So far, I’ve searched through the **World of Pageantry** archives and have looked up each competition individually on YouTube and Google. I’ve been able to find recordings of **other schools** from those same competitions, but unfortunately not Montclair.

From what I’ve found, Montclair competed at:

Magnolia SCSBOA Tournament (October 3, 1998)
West Side Classic (October 31, 1998)
Big Orange Classic (November 14, 1998)
Tournament of Champions in Santa Ana (December 5, 1998)
And more

For the Tournament of Champions in Santa Ana I know there is a video out there since they recorded each divison they just haven’t uploaded it or lost the archived for divison A

I’ve spoken to the high school, checked yearbooks, old teachers , old parents , his old classmates, and none have it. The school and my dad friends no longer have contact with the old band director (who which my dad has his old Santa Clara vanguard 1989 uniform and would like to give back) so there no luck there. I’ve check YouTube, countless of websites, gotten memberships to the competitions and no response or result.

If anyone has:
VHS recordings (or knows someone who does)
Digitized videos
Photos
Competition programs

I would greatly appreciate thank you!

Television Help find kerching! Season 1 and 2 [fully lost]

First time posting on the sub, would be grateful signposting me to find this.

This show aired in 2003 in the UK CBBC featuring Devon Anderson. Cannot for the life of me find season 1 and 2.

There’s alot of rumours that official media has been lost and can only be found through communities. BBC iplayer has no release of the show and there are no DVD hard copies etc.

Does anyone have any recordings or uploads of the first 2 seasons of this show? Crazy that it’s roughly 20 years old and there’s no archive of the show floating on the internet.

Thanks in advance!

Internet Media Looking for photos of the old Free Record Shop in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht (De Schoof 71) [partially lost]

(photo of the receipt in the comments)

Hi everyone!

I'm from Italy, and I recently bought a used PS3 with a bundle of games. Inside the case of Need for Speed: Most Wanted (PS3), I found the original receipt from Free Record Shop.

The receipt is dated August 14, 2012, and the game was purchased at:

Free Record Shop

De Schoof 71

Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands

Out of curiosity, I started researching the store.

I found the address, the old phone number, and even explored the shopping center on Google Street View. Unfortunately, I can't find a single photo of this specific Free Record Shop anywhere online.

Does anyone here happen to have old photos of this store, or remember it before it closed?

It would mean a lot to me to see what the place looked like, since this receipt has become a small piece of history that somehow survived inside the game case for almost 14 years.

Found [Found] Previously lost media Ontario GreenBelt kids song. So happy.

I am so pleased to say that I have found the whole song after many years of this being lost media.

Come on, let's go to a place I know

In Ontario, where the Green Belt grows

Don't think twice, take my advice

This local paradise is so very nice!

I am so happy. This song was in my head for years, and I kept searching. Every post I could find led to a dead end, and I eventually thought I had imagined it. After searching again recently, I finally located the full version. I'm posting it here in case anyone else remembers hearing it and has been looking for it as well. Hopefully this helps close the search for anyone who came across the older discussions that never reached an answer. GREENBELT SONG

Youtube Melanie martinez “Cake” youtube video [fully lost]

This post is for a fan video of Melanie Martinez’s song “Cake” in youtube, that I haven’t been able to find it anywhere.

It was a fan-made music video (not an official MV). The started with a record player and followed a girl with short, brown, slightly wavy hair and bangs. She was lip-syncing to the song, and there was a red-haired love interest involved in the story. The video had a very Cry Baby-era Melanie Martinez aesthetic, with cute/pastel elements but also a darker revenge-like feeling.

There are some scenes with colored powders and the girl having her face painted with paint in slow motion shots. The production looked homemade but still well-made, like a personal artistic project. The creator also may had made another Melanie Martinez fan video, possibly for “Play Date.”

The miniature of the video was the girl with the title cake in a pink pastel colorz

It is not the Alondra Lira “Cake” fan MV, as I have checked that one.

Does anyone remember this video or know where it can be found? I’m starting to wonder if it was deleted, or made private.

Video Games [FULLY LOST] Wizard of Oz iOS game (com.wb.wizzardofozgame)

I know this is a shot in the dark, but I am looking high and low for anyone who happens to have a copy of this on their old iOS devices. It was developed by Spooky Cool Labs with art by Mipumi Games; I already contacted some who were involved in the game's production but they were of marginal help at best.

Maybe someone with a legacy iOS device with a substantial app purchase library could help with this concern for preservation's sake and all. It also used to be on Facebook back when they had games on offer.

Television [fully LOST] The Odyssey, 8 part series from 1968, ENGLISH DUB

Something I had been looking for anyway, but it's very topical all of a sudden:

The English version of an 8 part Oddyssey series

This is missing, last seen on TVO, Canada. The Odyssey (the actual one, by Homer, the Greek poet) was turned into a TV series in 1968. It was shot rather beautifully, with plenty of authentic locations, using 35mm film. It is probably the most faithful adaptation done to this day. It was an Italian-French-German-Yugoslavian coproduction with an international cast (surprisingly, Barbara Bach is there too).
People tend to see it primarily as Italian, so you might see it listed as "Odissea", but they dubbed the voices too. Basically all languages were dubbed on later. So it's hard to say what was the primary language.

There was an English spoken edition which was shown in Canada by TV Ontario several times, until the early 1980s. Exact last date unknown but the station has confirmed this to me. No-one knows who owned/owns that, or who made it. In fact, it might even be fully lost in the severest sense of no copies remaining in existence on earth.
Yes, there are English subtitles, but that is not the same. There also was a TV movie version in English circulating, which was recorded off air from CBS, but that is extremely abridged. So those options don't really solve it.

I keep hoping that perhaps a teacher somewhere might have taped it to use in the classroom? Anyone?

Music [Partially lost] FLASH GAME "THE WAITNESS" VIDEO SONG

Hi everyone ! First time posting here but this is really driving me nuts because I keep thinking about it every day and I feel like I'm the only one who know this. I just want to say that my English is bad so I use translation to help me explain what I'm searching for.

When I was a kid playing the popular Flash game 'The Waitress' (by D-mah), I clicked on one of the external links on the page (when you arrived at the main page) and then that redirected me to a video page. (I used to do this a lot as a kid because it would send le to a 'ew flash game website that I don't know and find new games that's why I used to click on external links on the main page)

The video was a 2D animation featuring a woman walking (I think at night, dark atmosphere with maybe a shade of blue ?) with a song sang by a female singer. I can't remember the exact language (could be English, Russian, or Arabic something similar, but not Asian). That's alla I remember, I do remember just a little bit of the melody but not enough for something to find the sound.

Does anyone remember this specific animation video or the song tied to this link/website back in the 2000s?

Please tell me I'm not the only one..Thank you if you can help me !!

Video Games [talk] Soon to be lost media: Mario Kart Tour

You may have less than 4 hours to play Piranha Plant Pipeline legally today. Mario Kart Tour for mobile shuts down September 29, 2026. Piranha Plant Pipeline is available by 11pm western time, then the courses change again.

This game is very controversial with its use of monetization/mobile bs structure. But the tracks and gameplay are still very well made. A majority of its tracks can be found on the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, however Piranha Plant Pipeline is EXCLUSIVE to Mario Kart Tour.

There are also several past tracks that seem to only be "remastered" on Tour including:

  • Bowser’s Castle 1/2/4 (SNES/GBA/3DS)
  • Cheep-Cheep Island (GBA)
  • Cheep Cheep Lagoon (3DS)
  • Choco Island 1-2 (SNES)
  • Daisy Hills (3DS)
  • Donut Plains 1-2 (SNES)
  • Ghost Valley 1-2 (SNES)
  • Koopa Troopa Beach (N64)
  • Lakeside Park (GBA)
  • Luigi Circuit (GBA)
  • Luigi’s Mansion (3DS)
  • Luigi Raceway (N64)
  • Mario Circuit (3DS)
  • Peach Circuit (GBA)
  • Vanilla Lake 1 (SNES)

While older courses may not sound too noteworthy, I believe these are the only iterations that appear in crisp HD or whatever resolution your phone is.

What's probably more noteworthy is all of Mario Kart Tour's courses also contain an R (Reverse), T (Trick), and r/T (Reverse/Trick) variations which completely change the way you race with ramps and other obstacles throughout the course. There are also Christmas, New Years, and Halloween variations of tracks.

In addition to all that, there are exclusive remix tracks including:

  • RMX Choco Island 1-2
  • RMX Donut Plains 1
  • RMX Ghost Valley 1
  • RMX Mario Circuit 1
  • RMX Rainbow Road 1-2
  • RMX Vanilla Lake 1

The good news is, I've already seen some mods out there that added these tracks to Mario Kart 8. But a 100% preservation effort, I haven't seen anything like that, especially on mobile.

I want to bring attention to the community because Dr. Mario World disappeared without preservation and is now lost media. Even if you don't think something is special, doesn't mean it's not worth preserving, especially in the right hands. Fans have made bad games good, and Mario Kart Tour is really just a case of greedy store front/random availability. The tracks are all mixed up for no reason, but hackers could probably fix this.

Some noteworthy exclusive characters include:

  • Ice Bro
  • Fire Bro
  • Dixie Kong
  • King Bob-omb
  • Poochy

And there's countless costume variations, karts, and gliders you can't find anywhere else. The game went hard with monetization.

I honestly have no idea how any preservation works or if it even can work with Mario Kart Tour's random track availability. But I'm doing my part know getting the word for the off chance game preservationists will do something Nintendo doesn't seem willing to do. Even though each new entry in the franchise brings back old tracks, the amount of exclusive variations Tour has means this version of the game is very endangered.

Would love to watch this being an old Sacramento Kings fan! Our mayor sucked but still to this day have wanted to watch this. I try to find it every few years… I feel like I may never see it. Building our new stadium was difficult with such an awful team. Hopefully you redditors have more internet skills than I do. I saw a year old web archive link but it appears to be down. Sac is such a crappy sports town and I like to watch anything available. I’ll try again in 2029 🤷. Please tho

Audio [fully lost] The Anthem of the People’s Party of Malaysia (Demi Rakyat)

Hello netizens of the internet.

I request for your help. While I was trying to compile the list of Malaysian political party anthem, I hit a brick wall when I tried to find the song for Parti Rakyat Malaysia.

All Wikipedia pages and websites regarding this party all list the song of the party as “Demi Rakyat”. However, because the party went extinct years ago, I suspect that it wasn’t archived properly.

Anyone from Malaysia, does anyone know where I can find anything about this song? I thank you for reading this far…

PS.: Do not be fooled by the Parti Rakyat Malaysia YouTube Channel. The song in one of the videos is actually the instrumental for the MPAJA song called Liberate Malaysia (Bebaskan Malaya).

Internet Media [Partially Lost] The Museum of Forgotten Art Supplies

If this is as lost as it appears to be, it’s pretty ironic! I just found out that there is an online museum of forgotten art supplies- but it appears to have been forgotten.

Apparently, designer Lou Brooks, who I just learned designed the iconic 1985 Monopoly Man (amongst many other things) was assembling an online directory of obscure or forgotten art supplies. It looks like it started on a blog (I originally found the blog post linked from a 2009 forum post), but expanded to its own site later on. Users would submit images and possibly text, and Brooks would upload them to the site with a description. Unfortunately, it appears that Brooks passed away in 2021. Soon after, the site began to display “Will be back soon…” and it doesn’t appear to have been updated in 4 years. From what I gather, every link now redirects to a page with this text.

When I checked the Internet Archive, it seems like a fair amount is missing from the site. It appears that many thumbnails are there, but then the text is missing. On some posts, the text is there but the thumbnail is missing. The archival seems to be pretty disjointed at best, with some links redirecting only to more recent broken pages, or unfinished earlier versions.

The crazy part, though, is that it was widely known. Brooks has a section about the site on his Wikipedia page, there are numerous articles about it (including Hyperallergic and Wired), and many other references online. There is a 4k+ member Facebook community, but it looks like it’s all spam ads from hacked accounts. Honestly, I really hope that I am misunderstanding the situation and it is more accessible than it appears!

If anyone else sees this and is interested or can find out how to access all the information on the site, I would love to see it. Outside of my personal affinity for obscure art supplies, it actually seems like a pretty interesting part of history.

Website: https://www.forgottenartsupplies.com
Latest semi-working site on the blog I could find: https://web.archive.org/web/20110423044818/http://www.drawger.com/show.php?show_id=32
Blog post I discovered this from: https://gurneyjourney.blogspot.com/2009/05/dead-tech-waxers.html?m=1

I might be posting this prematurely, but I just went down an analog graphic design rabbit hole via another reddit post I saw that discussed stat cameras… and it’s 3 am so my judgement might not be in the right place HAHA. Also, I am on my phone right now, so my difficulty could be an access issue from my side. Thank you for reading!

Audio [Talk] Cant find the original Ngannou vs Gane Highlights video

I’m trying to locate a specific Ngannou vs. Gane highlights video that was around four minutes long and was most likely uploaded to YouTube.

The video used an uplifting and energetic song, possibly an instrumental track. When I tried to find it again, I could no longer locate the original version. Either the song was removed, muted, or replaced because of copyright, or the entire video was deleted or made private.

Unfortunately, I don’t remember the channel name, exact upload title, or URL. I have checked several Ngannou vs. Gane highlight videos, but none of them appear to be the version I remember.

My main goal is to find the original video or an archived/reuploaded copy of it, not just identify the song. Does anyone remember this upload or know where an older version might be archived?

Youtube [partially lost] a youtube channel called 101facts has disappeared

Hello everyone, the past few days I’ve been looking for a specific video by a YouTube channel called ‘101facts’ but I found out that the channel has been taken down.

I used to watch this channel about 9 years ago maybe and for some reason I wanted to go and watch one of their videos but I can’t find it anywhere. Their channel page is on the way back machine but to my knowledge none of their videos are. The specific video I’m looking for was either about IT or Stephen King.

I managed to find the guy who (I think) created the channel’s instagram so I commented on his latest post but so far I haven’t gotten anything back.

Some information about the YouTube Channel:
- Called his viewers ‘Motherfactors’
- Most popular video was probably his Harry Potter one (I remember watching it a few times and something I specifically remember from it was him making a “Hairy Pothead” joke in the intro)
- Kinda sounded like Minecraft YouTuber ‘StampyLongNose’ and I’m pretty sure he made a video about him

Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Television [Partially Lost] Looking for Kika & Bob Especially Season 2

I'm documenting the current preservation status of the Belgian animated series Kika & Bob, as much of Season 2 appears to be unavailable today despite evidence that it was produced and broadcast.

Kika & Bob is an animated children's adventure series created by Vincent Bal and Colette Bothof. The series follows Kika, a young girl, and Bob, a firefighter, who are blown away by a tornado while rescuing Kika's cat from a church tower in Waterloo, Belgium. They spend the series traveling around the world trying to return home while introducing viewers to different countries and cultures.

According to available sources, the series ran from 2007 to 2014 and consists of 52 episodes across two seasons. It aired on Ketnet and was distributed internationally. The existence of both seasons is documented by multiple sources, including the official website, IMDb, and the Dutch Wikipedia page.

Current preservation status

As part of researching the series, I have confirmed that Season 1 survives. Through a private collector, I was able to obtain a complete copy, meaning that season is no longer considered missing.

However, Season 2 appears to be a different story. Despite checking public archives, archived websites, and collector communities, I have not been able to find a complete surviving copy.

An additional complication is that Vincent Bal has uploaded some surviving Kika & Bob material to the Internet Archive, but these uploads do not appear to include Season 2. From information I've gathered, much of the original material was discarded over the years, making surviving broadcasts and private recordings potentially the only remaining sources.

Evidence that the series existed

Based on the currently available evidence, Season 2 appears to be partially or largely lost, while Season 1 has been preserved.

If anyone has additional documentation such as broadcast information, release details, archived promotional material, or information about surviving recordings it would help establish a more complete preservation history of the series.
