Player(s) Needed by GM [EMT][DND 5e 2024][Online][Weekly] Dungeons and Digimon — Looking for Players

Upvotes

Player(s) wanted

Hello! I’m Taco (He/They, 36), and I’m looking for 5–8 players aged 18+ for a weekly Digimon-inspired D&D campaign set in a unique Digital World.

A strange app installs itself on your device—no name, just a pulsing icon shaped like a digitama. When you tap it, the world dissolves into static. You fall through color and noise until you land in a landscape of glowing circuits and living data. At your side stands a small, talking creature that calls you “partner.” Something is corrupting this world, severing the bond between Digimon and the humans meant to protect it. Will you rise to become a true DigiDestined?

Game Details

  • When: Weekly, day and time to be decided together as a group (I’m in Eastern Time, US).
  • Where: Discord for voice, Roll20 for VTT. Cameras are not required.
  • System: Heavily modified D&D 5e 2024. You’ll play a human partnered with a Digimon, using custom Digimon classes, homebrew evolution mechanics, and special items. I know the rules inside-out after 20 years of DMing, so I’ll bend them whenever it makes a better story.
  • Campaign: Long-term. We’ll start at level 1, jump quickly to level 3, then progress to level 20 on a modified curve. Structure and tone follow a season of the Digimon anime: episodic arcs, a growing cast of allies and rivals, and a central mystery that builds to a world-shaking climax.
  • Style: Roleplay, exploration of a weird and wonderful Digital World, tactical battles alongside your partner, Digivolution-fueled hype moments, and plenty of heart. Friendship, courage, and growing up are just as important as any mega-level showdown.

All experience levels are welcome, but this campaign is 18+ only. No adult themes—just a mature table where we can tell a great story together.

About Me
I’ve been a Dungeon Master for exactly 20 years. I have a deep knowledge of the rules and game design, which means I know precisely when to break them to create something awesome. My style is thorough and player-focused: I build the world, then let your choices and your partner’s bond drive the story. Expect personal story arcs, Digimon-specific quests, and plenty of surprises.

Session Zero
We’ll have a dedicated Session Zero to build characters, meet your Digimon partners, align on tone, and set boundaries. Safety tools will be in place so everyone feels comfortable being creative and adventurous.

Applying
Reply to this post or send me a Reddit DM. Please include a little about yourself, your TTRPG experience (none is totally fine!), what you love about Digimon, and any character or partner ideas you might have. Bonus points—and favor in selection—if you’re part of the “Digimon Up Digirap” camp (you know who you are). I’ll reach out to chat more and eventually get a group together.

Let’s save the Digital World!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2014][UK Time][Wednesday Evenings] DM Looking for 3-5 Players.

Hi,

Looking to host a game of DnD 5e on Wednesday evenings from about 6..30 to 10, for 3-5 players. No prior experience needed.

I'll be using the gritty realism resting rules (8hr short rest, 7 day long rest) and all warriors will get combat superiority at 3rd level (battle masters get an extra 3 manoeuvres). You'll also get a free feat alongside every ability score improvement. There are also some minor changes to magic users to make casting slightly more flexible but unpredictable.

You'll be starting at level 2, and races will be restricted to Humans only, and we'll be going to about level 10.

The game will be focused more towards exploration and travel in a frontier setting in a homebrew world, with a mix of both RP and combat. The setting will also be closer to low fantasy than high fantasy.

You will be starting as member of the local adventurers' guild who've signed up to escort a caravan deep into the steppes to the east to supply a fledgling mining operation often plagued by tribal raiders and roving beasts.

Send me a dm if you're interested or want any more information.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][SF2e][Wednesdays 5:30 PM CST] Starfinder 2e: Guilt of the Graveworld (2 Slots Open)

Upvotes

Hey everyone! We are looking for two players to join an ongoing/upcoming campaign running Starfinder 2e: Guilt of the Graveworld. We are an older, relaxed group looking for reliable folks who love good teamwork, having a laugh, and playing the game as a crew. If you're looking for a consistent weekly TTRPG fix with a solid group, read on!

Game Details

System: Starfinder 2nd Edition

Adventure: Guilt of the Graveworld

Schedule: Wednesdays, 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM CST (Weekly)

Pacing Note: We aim for 4 hours, but we might wrap up early if we hit a clean stopping point, or occasionally run a few minutes over if the party wants to finish up a combat encounter.

Level Range: Levels 1 to 4 (you'll hit level 5 at the very end of the adventure).

Platforms: Foundry VTT (VTT) + Discord (Voice only).

Table Expectations & Vibe

Team-First Mindset: We’re looking for team players. "Lone wolf" characters who run off to do their own thing don't fit well with our playstyle.,

No Power Gaming: If you are a hard min-maxer or power gamer who focuses solely on squeezing every last drop of math optimization out of a build, this table might not be the best fit. We play by the rules and like capable characters, but we prioritize fun, team synergy, and the overall experience over hyper-optimized builds.,

Stay Engaged (No Multitasking): We want everyone to be present and paying attention during sessions. Please don't play other video games, watch videos, or heavily multitask while we play. It keeps the pacing sharp and shows respect for everyone at the table.,

Casual Vibe, Mature Group: We lean toward an older demographic, so being an older player is recommended. We don't take ourselves too seriously—if you're super intense or overly dramatic, this probably isn't the group for you.,

Punctuality & Commitment: We ask that you commit to the weekly schedule and arrive on time. We totally get that adult life happens—just communicate with us if something pops up! That said, chronic lateness or frequent unexcused absences will result in us reopening the slot.,

Respect: Treat everyone at the table with respect. Disrespect, toxicity, or bigoted behavior gets an immediate boot.,

DM Style & Technical Needs

-Rules & Rarity: I tend to run rules-strict. For character creation (gear, feats, magic, items), stick to Common rarity unless a specific class feature or feat explicitly grants you access to something higher. Ancestry rarities are still TBD.

Hardware: You will need a desktop/laptop computer capable of running Foundry VTT smoothly in a browser.,

Voice & Mic Etiquette: A good quality, clear microphone is required, along with basic mic etiquette (minimal background noise, muting when necessary, no open-mic TV/music).,

How to Apply

If this sounds like your kind of table, send me a message with the following details: (Also will respond during free time so patience is a must)

Name / Handle:

Age / Age Group:

Experience Level: (New to SF2e/PF2e/Foundry? Experienced? All welcome!)

Hardware Check: Do you have a working PC for Foundry and a clear mic?

Character Idea: (Doesn't need to be set in stone, just a quick pitch on what you like to play!)

Confirmation: Can you consistently make Wednesdays 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM CST and commit to being engaged during game time?

Looking forward to meeting you and getting this crew together!

Hello! I’m Wren, 20M, and I’m looking for 4–5 players aged 18+ for a weekly Curse of Strahd campaign.

Closed [Online] [5e 2014 or 2024] [EST] [Time and Days Flexible/Undecided] Oops, All Dragons! [18+]

First and foremost, I am technically not the GM- we do have one, I am writing this on his behalf as I am the main organizer of the group, so I’ve been handling this sort of stuff. Additionally, while the story has been described as including both dragons and a cult, it is apparently not based around the Tyranny of Dragons module, and is instead set to be an original storyline.

We’re a group of 3 people in our early 20’s based in EST, plus our DM based in CST, looking for two more people to join us for the campaign! We’ll be starting at Level 3 with a good mix of combat and roleplaying going on- likely more roleplaying than combat, but there will be fighting!

So far, these are the player characters:
John S., a Human Rogue played by yours truly and someone best described as an urban legend more than an adventurer. On his surface he seems like a boring, run of the mill civilian, but the stories told about him say otherwise.

An unnamed skeletal Reborn Monk, played by Chesssoup. Not much else is known about him at this time.

An unnamed Fairy of an undecided but likely spellcaster class played by Jess. Additionally not much is known on them either.

Hopefully this interests you! We’re open to people of all backgrounds and genders, preferably within a similar age range. If you have any questions, comments, and of course if you are interested, feel free to shoot me a DM on discord, my username is Pikampy.

Happy adventuring!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Offline][Silver Spring, MD][July 30th, 7pm][21+][Other] Redactrix - cyberpunk witchcraft oneshot (playtest)

Upvotes

I'm running my first ever public game of Redactrix, a ttrpg I've been designing. It's cyberpunk+witchcraft with a heavy programmer influence. It's a d100 system. This is the first playtest, you'll be one of the first people to try it. Honest feedback is worth more to me than politeness!

3 hours, real stakes, no fudged dice. This isn't a grinder but lethality is entirely possible. I have a style that fits with Mörk Borg or Mythic Bastionland.

When: July 30th, 2026, 7pm-10pm

Where: Third Hill Brewing, Silver Spring, MD

Seats: 3 available

Cost: free (I mean the game, I'm not paying your tab)

Details and sign up at https://oneshot-incarnate.com/session/4 or just ask questions here / DM me.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [D&D 5e 2014 + The Quiet Year] [Weekly, Flexible] [LGBTQIA+] [20+] Mor’ruul’s Gift - Looking for 1-2 more players for Long-term, Roleplay-heavy Homebrew Campaign (YOU help make the world!)

Upvotes

[I will be reviewing applications for the next week so this is post NOT first come first serve!]

Have you ever wanted to make the world you play in, homebrew up animal-inspired playable species and more, but still have your GM do all the fine tuning and crunchy stuff?

Well do I have the game for you! Hello potential future players, my name is Bennie (she/he/it/e/ey, 22), and I am a semi-beginner DM that has been gearing up a new homebrew campaign that starts with The Quiet Year and ends with Dungeons and Dragons 5e (2014)!

We will work off of a mostly-blank map that I hand-drew (I am an artist so expect some free art of your characters eventually ;3) and some preexisting information about the world that me and our existing two players have conjured up (you can also add a few reasonable ideas before we start ofc). This is mostly a theatre of the mind game, but for our time playing The Quiet Year, I will be streaming Tabletop Simulator through Discord and actively drawing on the map based on the decisions you make from the card prompts! It's gonna be so cool trust me

Once we finish our world and build characters based off of it, we will start the true campaign. I will post reference images for areas and NPCs as we go along, but otherwise it will just be us and the power of imagination in a discord call (voice only)!

In terms of the world we have so far and maybe even some foreshadowing, I raise you this hook- ahem...

---

"You are right to fear the water, children.

For the world beyond the borders of Kynra is a world of chaos and forgotten beasts. The megafauna that used to roam this continent, tearing up the earth and sky with their blessed power, are all gone. But in the water, see- the water is home to what was left behind. For miles and miles below the surface of our infinite ocean, there are creatures only whispered of in dark places where myth meets reality.

But we can find these beings elsewhere, too- well, only one other place, that is. In our grand lake, at the center of Kynra, there swims a demigod in our midst. You must respect him as you do your elders- no- your gods. For he protects the island that houses Mor'ruulThe last megaflora. This holy tree you will one day visit for yourselves, but only when you are ready. We all make the strenuous trip to this sacred place, guided by the ones that have come before. And, of course, your new companions.

When you turn 25, you will be bound by fate and life to an animal, the species depending on your family's traditions. Some are small, others large, all of them soul-bound to us animalfolk through magical tattoos. Your companion will then be a part of you, and you will be able to summon them at will for support in trying times. Once the time comes, you will make the trek to Mor'ruul, up through their loving branches, and on your arrival to the top- make your wish. If you're reading this, put the codeword 'mousse' in the last question of the form.

Some choose to ask questions instead, some wish for simple needs, others greedily beg for riches and fame. But the gods know what you really need, and you will receive a life-changing gift either way.

What was that? Do some choose not to make the trip or receive their companion? Well, that is... ahem. It is a blasphemous path to take to reject Mor'ruul's Gift, and one would live a life of constant confusion and strife. But, I suppose young minds do wonder what could happen if things didn't go as planned..."

---

SO! That's the general concept- the true campaign starts with each character having a short scene of prepping for the trip/receiving their animal companion and tattoo, then you all meet at the monastery where everyone making the trek to Mor'ruul rests until the last night of the month. Then, you make the final stretch across the land bridge leading to the holy tree's island, and the rest is up to fate! AKA my devious whims... bwahaha

Summary-

System: The Quiet Year + D&D 5e (2014)

Platform: Discord (at some points I will stream Tabletop Sim)

Schedule: We will decide what works best week-by-week using When2Meet (if everyone wants a set schedule, we will discuss in the future what day/time). however, it will never take place outside of 10AM to 10PM EST.

Level: Lvl. 3

Tone: Roleplay-heavy; room for a bit of goofs but try to be mostly serious; will get progressively more deep/dark as we get more comfortable with each other.

Length: Long-term, 1+ year minimum

Players: Looking for 1 or MAYBE 2 more (3-4 total players)

Age: 20+

Requirements:

  • NO AI USAGE/SUPPORT, if you need me to say more, this isn't the right campaign for you.
  • MUST HAVE reliable internet and a good mic.

If that all sounds perfect to you, feel free to fill out the form below! Thank you all so much for reading, and I hope to see you soon!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][D&D 5e 2014][BST][Weekly][Thursdays] Dragons of Vemroa – A World of Discovery, Politics, and Ancient Secrets

Greetings, adventurers!

I'm Chad, a 29-year-old Dungeon Master from the UK with over seven years of experience both playing and running Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition.

I'm looking for players to embark on a brand-new long-term campaign set in Caelvaria, my fully homebrewed world that I've spent years building. This adventure takes place primarily on the continent of Vemroa, the ancestral homeland of dragonkind, where ancient history, political tensions, and forgotten mysteries are beginning to stir beneath the surface of an otherwise prosperous land.

While dragons are woven deeply into the world's history and culture, this isn't a campaign about immediately saving the world. It begins with grounded adventuring through the Guild of the Sworn, taking on contracts ranging from monster hunts and caravan escorts to investigations, exploration, and helping those in need. As your characters grow in reputation, they'll slowly uncover that these seemingly unrelated jobs are connected to something far older than anyone realizes.

I'm a strong believer in collaborative storytelling. Character backstories matter, roleplay is encouraged, and the world responds to your decisions. Whether you're chasing glory, knowledge, redemption, fortune, or simply looking for a place to belong, there will be opportunities for your character's story to become an important part of the campaign.

Campaign Details

Edition: D&D 5e (2014 Rules)

Platform: Discord (Voice) + Roll20

Schedule: Thursdays, 5:00 PM BST (approximately 3–4 hours)

Starting Level: 3

Party Size: 6 Players

Campaign Style: Long-term - Roleplay > Combat, but both matter

Tone: High fantasy, adventure, exploration, mystery, character-driven

About the Campaign

For over a thousand years, the continent of Vemroa has stood apart from the rest of the world.

Known as the ancestral homeland of dragonkind, Vemroa is a land where towering mountain kingdoms, ancient forests, volcanic wastelands, crystal valleys, and sprawling jungles stretch across an untamed wilderness. Here, dragons are not distant monsters lurking at the end of forgotten dungeons, they are rulers, scholars, merchants, diplomats, artisans, and protectors. Metallic, Chromatic, Gem, and Cosmic dragons each govern their own dominions, while countless dragonkin and mortal races have built lives alongside them over centuries.

For generations, peace has endured.

Trade flows freely between the dominions. Roads are safe enough for merchants to travel. Settlements continue to grow. The great city of Crownspire stands high above the clouds as a symbol of unity for all dragonkind.

But peace has never meant perfection.

Beyond the cities lie vast stretches of wilderness still largely unexplored. Ancient ruins remain buried beneath jungle canopies. Mountain passes must be kept clear of dangerous beasts. Caravans disappear. Villages require protection. Strange monsters emerge from forgotten caverns. The work of explorers, adventurers, and problem-solvers is never truly finished.

To answer that need, the Guild of the Sworn was founded centuries ago.

What began as a small fellowship of explorers has grown into the greatest adventuring guild on Vemroa. With guild halls across the continent, the Guild accepts contracts from dragons and mortals alike. One week its members may be escorting a merchant caravan across the savannahs of Aurakhar. The next, clearing monsters from forgotten ruins beneath the Emerald Maw, investigating disappearances along frozen mountain trails, recovering lost relics from ancient temples, or helping isolated settlements weather threats too dangerous to face alone.

The Guild asks for no oath beyond a willingness to help. Its members come from every walk of life, seasoned adventurers, wandering scholars, retired soldiers, ambitious mages, travelling artisans, dragonkin seeking purpose, and ordinary people looking for something more. There is no prophecy to fulfil, no chosen hero to answer destiny's call. The Guild simply opens its doors to those willing to take the next contract.

In recent years, however, those contracts have become increasingly numerous. On their own, none seem particularly alarming. A road once considered safe now requires regular patrols. Strange creatures have begun appearing far beyond their usual territories. Long-standing agreements between neighbouring settlements have become strained, while trade routes that operated peacefully for generations are now caught in growing political disputes. Some dragons have become unusually withdrawn, while others guard their domains with an unfamiliar vigilance.

No single event is enough to cause panic. Yet together, they paint a picture that no one can quite explain. The Guild simply sees an ever-growing list of requests, each seemingly unrelated to the last, and continues to do what it always has: send capable adventurers where they are needed most.

Perhaps it is nothing more than an unfortunate string of coincidences. Perhaps Vemroa is simply changing, as every land must with time. Or perhaps, deep beneath the continent's ancient foundations, something long forgotten has begun to stir once more. Not a dragon. Not a kingdom. Something far older.

What I'm Looking For

  • 18+ and respectful
  • LGBTQ+ friendly
  • Roleplay-focused
  • Team-oriented
  • Reliable
  • Comfortable using Discord and Roll20.
  • Prior TTRPG experience is preferred

Homebrew

Homebrew is welcome! If you'd like to play with any third-party or homebrew content, just run it by me first. I'm always happy to work with players to bring their ideas to life, provided they fit the setting, tone, and overall balance of the campaign.

What You Can Expect From Me

  • A rich, fully homebrewed world with thousands of years of history, unique cultures, and a living pantheon.
  • A long-term campaign that begins with grounded adventures before growing into an epic story.
  • Consistent weekly sessions with plenty of opportunities for roleplay, exploration, and combat.
  • Distinct NPCs, character voices, and immersive worldbuilding.
  • Character arcs woven directly into the main story
  • Fair rulings, open communication, and a focus on everyone having fun.
  • A respectful, inclusive, and collaborative table where everyone has a chance to contribute.

If this sounds like your kind of adventure, please fill out this form:
https://forms.gle/icpyUf1YoVFgB9qZ6

\Note - The form will close at 9pm BST Thursday. I will then reach out the following day once I have had a chance to go over them all.*

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][PF2e][Wednesday 9:30pm ET] Seeking 1 Player for Season of Ghosts.

We're a group of five running through Season of Ghosts, currently on session 3 of the first book. One seat just opened up and we're looking for a player to join an established table.

The pitch: Your characters wake up in the woods outside a small lumber town, certain something dragged them there overnight. The town is fine. Everyone's fine. Except the mist won't lift, something's wrong with the bridge, and none of you can quite remember what happened at last night's festival. That's where it starts. Where it goes gets a lot stranger.

The details:

  • System: Pathfinder 2e
  • Starting level: 2nd
  • Format: Online, Foundry VTT
  • Schedule: Wednesdays, 9:30 PM Eastern
  • Seats open: 1
  • Current party: Bard, Monk, Rogue, Ranger — open to any class/concept, no gaps we're trying to fill

Looking for: someone who wants to actually engage with mystery and roleplay, not just combat. This AP leans hard into slow dread, found family, and things not being what they seem. Only three sessions in, so plenty of time to get settled — session zero-style conversation welcome if you're newer to PF2e or Foundry.

Drop a comment or DM with a bit about your TTRPG experience and what kind of character you're thinking of playing.

GM Needed by Existing Group [Online][5e 2024][GMT] Group of 5 engaged players seeking a DM for bi-weekly 18:00 Sunday Crooked Moon!

Hey there! We’re a group of five players in our early 30s or thereabouts who are looking for a DM to run the Crooked Moon campaign - although we’re open to other modules and settings as well, such as Grim Hollow or the good old Forgotten Realms! As a group, not all of us have played together extensively before - some have, yet others are new - but we’ve gone through a process and one-shots to make sure we all mesh well together, enjoy each-others’ playstyles, and are all looking for the same thing (such as an extensive talk about exactly what we want to put in this post!)

So who is the right DM?

Well, for starters the right DM for this group is one who’d like to share in the collaborative storytelling experience that is D&D to the fullest - one who is as character-focused as story-focused, and can make the players’ characters feel like a true part of the world with real impact. We’re looking for somebody who’d love to work closely with each of us on background stories and character arcs throughout the campaign, and who can make good on the setups we collectively bake into them. Some narrative descriptions to set the feeling of a scene and fleshed out, real-feeling NPC are a huge plus, but the most important thing is passion for the role of DM and the game you’re running! Communication is also a must, we’re all adults and need to be able to talk to each-other!

And who are we?

As players, we are all of us dedicated and engaged people who are committed to showing up and paying attention when we play, especially given the bi-weekly nature of this setup. We’re most certainly a roleplay-heavy group who want to dive deep into the characters and story, but also put proper and full effort into engaging with the story and world - we want to make the DM feel as though their effort is both appreciated and reciprocated, they’re a player at the table too, after all. Currently we have a rough idea of the party roster (based on the Crooked Moon content), and a pretty solid idea for the dynamics we want to see - but integrating background stories into the story and world is something we’d love to do alongside the DM!

Additionally, four of us have DMed before, with at least two who have over a decade of experience - so there is a good understanding of what it takes, and what we should bring to the table as players!

The process we have in mind:

Naturally, we will have one of us act as the contact-person for this post. If this seems like the group for you, please do send a message! Should it seem prudent, we would like to all have a talk with you where we can get a better idea of who you are and what kind of DM you’d be - but also the other way around. Questions can feel a bit like an interview, but this would be just as much for you to ask us what you might like to know!

If both parties feel like it would be a good match, we’d very much like to do a one-shot with you to see how it all lines up!

Details:

  • Time: 18:00 GMT (19:00 UK time, 20:00 Oslo, Paris, Berlin) - Sundays, bi-weekly
  • Campaign Setting & Campaign: Crooked Moon - Optionally others upon discussion
  • Platform: Roll20 or Foundry (preferred)
  • System: D&D 5e 2024
  • Session length: ~4 hours
  • Leveling: Milestone preferred, optional
  • Contact (Discord): meltyveil [all lower case]

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [2014 5e] [Homebrew] [Wednesday Biweekly 7:30pm ET] Looking for 1–2 Players • Weird West Survival Sandbox • Join the Better Bureau of Excellent People

Hello.

I'm looking for 1–2 long-term players to join an ongoing homebrew campaign.

This isn't a heroic power fantasy.

This isn't a railroad.

This isn't a game where the story already exists and you're expected to follow it.

This is a player-driven sandbox where your decisions matter, the world keeps moving whether you're there or not, and the stories worth remembering are the ones nobody planned.

The Setting

Welcome to a Weird West where revolvers are passed down through generations, mages carry guns, plagues reshape civilizations, ancient mysteries refuse to stay buried, and the wilderness is often a greater threat than whatever lives in it.

You are agents of the Better Bureau of Excellent People (BBEP), a private adventuring organization hired to solve problems that are too dangerous, too strange, or too important for anyone else.

Veterans call it something else.

Because that's what the pay always feels like.

The Campaign

Your first assignment is deceptively simple.

Escort a powerful artifact to a new vault before something known only as the Devastator finds it.

Whether that mission succeeds...

...and what happens afterward...

...depends entirely on you.

This campaign is very much play to find out.

What Makes This Campaign Different?

  • Weird West with medium magic.
  • Guns are common but expensive, thus handed down through generations.
  • Survival and resource management matter.
  • Hexploration.
  • Dungeoneering.
  • Player-driven stories.
  • Consequences that last.
  • Permanent injuries.
  • Homebrew mechanics throughout.
  • Combat is dangerous.
  • Character death is real.
  • Your choices shape the world.

The campaign uses extensive homebrew, but you don't need to memorize it before applying. There will be a short overview available before the application, and accepted players will receive the complete rules afterward.

What I'm Looking For

You do not need to:

  • Be an amazing roleplayer.
  • Know every rule.
  • Do funny voices.
  • Write twenty pages of backstory.
  • Have years of experience.

You do need to:

  • Show up reliably.
  • Want to play.
  • Participate.
  • Ask questions.
  • Be curious.
  • Be good to the group.

You can play a saint.

You can play an anti-hero.

You can play a complete scoundrel.

Just don't be a scoundrel to the rest of the party.

About Me

This is my first campaign recruiting outside my friend group.

I've spent a long time building this setting because I wanted a world that could outlive any single campaign.

I love when players surprise me.

I love when they ask questions I never expected.

I love when they connect dots from sessions months apart.

I don't want players to simply experience the world.

I want them to help shape it.

Table Expectations

  • Foundry VTT
  • Discord voice
  • Camera required
  • Audio recorded (for campaign history and note reference)
  • Every other week
  • Alcohol and cannabis are completely fine—just keep your shit together.
  • Respect everyone at the table.

Recruitment Process

  1. Applicant Handbook. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1d03Kj6Cec5GWr7sfxeUZq0LcqUlf-nYKIXe4JXOHX8Y/edit?tab=t.0
  2. Fill out the recruitment questionnaire.
  3. If you're one of my top applicants, we'll have a relaxed Discord interview.
  4. If we're both excited, you'll join the Discord, play through Session 0 Part 1 (tutorial) and Session 0 Part 2 (one-shot), and then join the campaign.

One Last Thing

I'm not looking for the "perfect D&D player."

I'm looking for someone who wants to become part of a long-running world.

If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear from you.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2024][Weekly EST][LGBTQIA+] Heroes of the Borderlands

Hello all!

My name is James and I am a writer and DnD fan! I have been playing DnD with my friends for a while but I am looking to grow my knowledge and DnD community. Recently, I've really enjoyed bringing new players together and teaching them the ways of DnD. That is why I am looking to start a mini-campaign using the Heroes of the Borderlands supplement! My goal is to grow a community where we can all learn and teach each other DnD!

Campaign Info:

Heroes of the Borderlands is for two to four characters of levels 1–3. The adventure has no overarching plot. While there are conflicts and secrets to uncover, the story that emerges is the one your group experiences. The adventure is divided into three self-contained sections, each of which features a different area.

The Specifics:

Looking for 2-4 characters. We will start at Level 1.
- Whether you come with tons of experience or little to none, we are all here to learn and teach each other. I ask that you come with a positive attitude and open mind!

I am a full time hospitality professional, I am doing this in my free time. I do not have a structured time decided as it may change. We will decide the day/time together as a group.
- I will use things like Whentomeet.com and Discord Polling to decide a play time.

We will use Discord for our communication. I will prob have my camera on but please do not feel pressured to do so. I think it allows easier communication and a more enjoyable format.

We will have a Session 0 to get to know each other and talk about expectations. We will also be making our characters together. I think its more fun to roll together versus separately. It will also be a great time to ask questions and for me to provide information in case you may need.

INTERESTED?

Please sign up using this form. Super excited to make this happen and looking forward to connecting soon! Also, feel free to DM me with questions!

Group Needed by Player [online][5e 2024] A wizard looking to group up!

Hello everyone, Im kenzie. I'm 30, neurodivergent and LGBT! I'm looking for a group to fulfill my desire to break free from my forever DM prison and finally get to play a wizard.

(I really really fucking wanna play a wizard. 😫)

I'm a little awkward, well paradoxically being quick-witted at the same time, I am one of the smart dumb people you'll ever meet and I enjoy serious stories that end up being comedies because everyone involved is a huge dork.

I'm GMT4 and I work retail, so my schedule changes often, but if we work out a day to play I'd work it out with my boss, for now though I'm usually free on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

I'm looking to play with the standard ruleset, with point buy and fixed health, but I can be flexible.

Group Needed by Player Aurelius Melodramatic Warlock [Online] [Flexible]

Ayo! – Warlock seeking new victims… I mean, adventuring party

I go by Aurelius (he/him, 29), and I’m looking for a group willing to accept my questionable morals and darker talents. I generally enjoy the company of demons, eldritch horrors, and other unsavory beings. My hobbies include long walks along brimstone cliffs overlooking seas of magma, making dubious pacts, and occasionally peering into the endless abyss just to see if it waves back.

I’m looking for a long-term campaign and have a pretty flexible schedule overall. I’m in the EST time zone. The only caveat is that I have my daughter every other week, so on those weeks I can’t play until after 8:30 PM EST on weekdays.

I’d love to join a homebrew campaign. I’m a big fan of Spelljammer and Eberron, but honestly I’m happy to dive into just about any setting if the group is fun.

I’m happy to build a character that complements the party, but I have a soft spot for Warlocks. I love the roleplay that comes with having a patron—the bargains, the consequences, the occasional existential crisis—and the dynamic it adds to the group. Can always multi-class :)

If it sounds like I’d be a good fit for your table, shoot me a message and we can connect on Discord. Looking forward to making terrible decisions together.

Player(s) Needed by GM [EST] [Online] [Other] The Darkening of Mirkwood, a The One Ring campaign.

Time: Monday, 8 PM EST.

Where: Discord and Roll20.

The Necromancer may have been cast out of Dol Guldur, but a lingering darkness remains over Mirkwood, a shadow that will grow ever longer as the years draw on – unless a fellowship of heroes step forward and hold back the gloom.

In a three decades long campaign (in character of course) manage your holdings, visit the Parliament of Spiders, the Kingdom of Dale and the court of the Elvenking. Do battle with the forces of The Shadow, work alongside the Istari and through bravery in the long defeat, perhaps you can avert the Darkening of Mirkwood.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2024 Homebrew][Any day 9pm GMT][LGBTQ Freindly] After Hellfire

The year is 2141.

After a widespread war and ecological collapse known only as the "Hellfire" Great Britain has been partially sunk underwater, and covered over by a seemingly eternal nuclear winter. In Oxfordshire, factions fight over what remains of the County. The students turned, archivists and protectors of the old world who occupy the ruins of Oxford University, now rebranded as the United Collegiate. On the other side is COBRA a military dictatorship who only obey the dying, immobile King of England. The free container city of Porttown, favoured by both legacy corporations and up and coming prospectors, where everyone lives in vertical sipres made of shipping crates and old prefabs, where crime is allowed as long as it doesn't interfere with the Duke. And the various roadmen gangs who patrol the frozen wastelands hitting convoys on silent, deadly electric bikes.

There are many secrets hidden here, as well as greatness, so long as you don't end up a frozen corpse along the old M25.

Heya all!

This is my worldbuilding child, and has been for a while. I'm super exited as i think ive finally got it too a point where it is playable in a campaign. Hoping to play this as a long term campaign with another 4 people who are passionate for sci-fi and role-playing.

For tone, I like to think of this as very Fallout: New Vegas with Wacky Wasteland on, so definitely gritty with emotional arcs and character development, while also side incorporating more of the pulpy of sci fi when it feels right.

What am I looking for in a player? Im looking for peeps who are passionate about ttrpgs, arent afraid to tell me what is and isn't working for them, a team player, creative with characters and just a nice person altogether! You don't have to british to play, Hell! you don't even have to know anything about Britain, I'd be happy to fill you in, as long as you're willing to learn!

This will mostly use the bare-bones structure of 5e, with renamed classes and Magic renamed to "hacking" and all that tosh to fit into the sci-fi world. Some may be locked, such as druid for not fitting the setting, but if you are able to reskin it some which way to fit id be very happy to allow you to play it!

As, stated above, this will run at a mutually agreed upon day at 9PM GMT, happy to move it later but cannot do any earlier.

Have my rambles interested you? Please feel free to drop me an application in my DMs, including your name/alias, a little about yourself, any half baked character ideas you have so far, questions, and the password: A fun fact!

I do hope to hear from you soon!

Ozzy

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2024 & 2014][18+][Weekly] Looking for 2 Players – Lost Mine of Phandelver & Below: The Shattered Obelisk

Hey everyone!

We're looking for two more players to round out a new long-term D&D campaign using Lost Mine of Phandelver & Below: The Shattered Obelisk.

Our goal is simple: build a group that's relaxed, dependable, and excited to tell a great story together.

About the Campaign

  • Campaign: Lost Mine of Phandelver & Below: The Shattered Obelisk
  • System: D&D 5e (2024 & 2014 Rules)
  • Platform: Discord + Roll20
  • Schedule: Weekly Saturdays 9:00 PM EST
  • Starting Level: 3
  • Expected Length: Long-term campaign

What We're Looking For

We're less concerned about experience and more about finding the right people.

Ideally, you are:

  • 18+
  • Relaxed and easy to get along with
  • Able to separate in-character conflict from out-of-character friendships
  • Reliable and committed to showing up consistently
  • Interested in roleplay, exploration, and tactical combat
  • Respectful of everyone at the table
  • Looking to finish an entire campaign—not just play a few sessions

Whether you're brand new to D&D or have years of experience, you're welcome as long as you enjoy collaborative storytelling.

Table Expectations

  • Respect everyone at the table.
  • Be on time whenever possible.
  • Communicate if life gets in the way.
  • No main-character syndrome.
  • Everyone gets their moment to shine.
  • We enjoy jokes and laughs, but we know when to take the story seriously.

We're aiming for a campaign where everyone looks forward to game night every week.

Interested?

If this sounds like your kind of group, fill out the application below, and we'll reach out if we think you'd be a good fit.

Looking forward to meeting you all, and happy adventuring!
