Offering Polish Offering: polish; Seeking: russian, belarusian

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a partner to learn Russian. Something about me: in my spare time i read a lot of books, watch movies, I'm interested in history, but I can not call myself an expert. I often listen to podcasts on different topics. In conversations with people, I like to read stories about their countries, but I really like to talk about everything, exchange opinions, etc. I'm a pretty open person, I don't mind jokes.

My Russian is not the best, I do not have very much to talk to. I accept all comments about my language and I would like to improve it. I am mainly looking for people from Belarus (I do not know Belarusian, but I would like to know more about it) and Russia. in return I can help with polish - conversations, grammar, etc.

Offering Spanish Offering: Spanish (native) | Seeking: English

Hey! My name is Agos, I'm 21 years old, and I'm from Argentina. I'm currently at a B2 English level (Oxford certified), but I'd like to improve my skills because I love talking to foreign people and it's helpful for my career.

If you're interested in learning Spanish and helping me with my English, I think it would be a great idea to talk!

We could talk about anything, but I'll list some of my interests and facts about me so we can find some common ground:

-I'm studying computer science at university.

-I like Star Wars and Pokémon.

-My favorite band is Queen, and some of my favorite singers are Sabrina Carpenter, Laufey, Olivia Dean, Cil, and Bad Bunny. I also listen to Argentine rock.

-I love painting and drawing.

-I like gaming / playing video games (we could do a voice chat while playing).

I'd prefer someone near my age, and preferably a woman. If you're not a native English speaker, but you're also learning, we can help each other as well!

If I made any mistakes writing this, feel free to correct me! :)

Offering Catalan Offering Catalan - Seeking Russian

Hi everyone!
I’m a 34F from Barcelona. I guess there are already plenty of people here offering Spanish, so I’d rather offer Catalan instead, which I’m much more excited about. I’ve always thought Catalan shares quite a few similar sounds with Russian.
I’ve been studying Russian since 2012. I attended a language academy for two years, and later I lived in Poland for a while, where I spoke Russian fairly regularly with people who didn’t speak English. There were many Russian speakers there, although the conversations were mostly informal.
Later, because of my job, I had the opportunity to sit in on Russian-language business meetings for about four years. I wasn’t an active participant, but I listened to countless meetings, so I’ve become quite familiar with business vocabulary, especially when it comes to listening comprehension.
In 2023 I started taking lessons again with a native Russian teacher. However, since it’s only once a week, I find it difficult to maintain my level, and I feel like I’ve been stuck for a long time.
Honestly, I’m not even sure what my level is anymore. In some areas I feel relatively advanced, while in others I’m surprisingly weak. My learning has been quite uneven over the years, so I know I have a lot of gaps.
I’d love to find someone to chat with regularly and help each other improve.
Thanks everyone!

Offering Russian Offering: Russian or Lithuanian/ Seeking: Spanish

Hello, I’m 15, my name’s Alice. I was born in Russia but moved to Lithuania at the age of 8. I’m half Russian and half Lithuanian, so I know both languages as my native ones. I’ve started learning Spanish with a tutor in February, my level’s around B1, although I don’t feel like it is B1, hahaha:)
I’ve got lots of interests and hobbies and I’d like to practice expressing my thoughts in Spanish. I can understand quite a lot of what people are saying but I’m really bad at speaking because of the fear of sounding ridiculous + I’m not sure if what I am saying is grammatically correct. I’d love to speak to a person around my age.

Offering English Offering English 🇦🇺| seeking Korean 🇰🇷

Hiii! I’m an Aussie 23m learning Korean at uni and bombing majorly 😭😭😭 I need a native speaker to practice with🙏. My major weakness are speaking and listening, so I’d like to have a call, maybe around once a week?? (preferably video call so I can read lips, as I have auditory processing disorder). In return I will help you with English. I’ve done a lot of ESL teaching and linguistic courses at uni, so I reckon I’ll be pretty good.

Don’t care about age or gender, as long as you’ve got something to talk about. My hobbies are; playing bass, skateboarding, art and reading. I also occasionally partake in gaming (shit at it tho), would love to do stardew valley co-op😎😎

Shoot me a dm if ur interested, ill give u my 카톡 or discord or whateva ✌️✌️

offering spanish (native), english (fluent) Offering: Spanish (native), English (fluent). Seeking: Portuguese, German

Hi! I’m 18F and I’m seeking for someone who can help me with my Portuguese pronunciation. I’m very good at reading the language and can even write it confidently, but I find speaking it really difficult, so phone calls would be great!

Improving my Portuguese is my top priority at the moment, but I’ve also been learning German for three months. So if you’ve got any tips, please don’t doubt to let me know.

I’m originally from Peru and had been in the US for a few months. I’ve also reached Cambridge level C1, if that means anything.

Feel free to DM or comment and I can reach out!!

Offering Hindi Offering: Hindi (Native) | Seeking: English (Native Speaker)

Hello everyone! I'm 19 years old from India, and I'm looking for a native English speaker to practice English with.

I'm a beginner, so I'd like to improve my speaking, vocabulary, and confidence through regular conversations. I hope we can talk a few times a week if our schedules match.

I'm interested in learning about daily life, culture, education, traditions, festivals, food, and what everyday life is like in different countries.

In return, I can help you learn Hindi and share Indian culture, traditions, festivals, history (as much as I know), Bollywood, music, and daily life in India.

I'm looking for someone around my age who is friendly, patient, respectful, and values privacy. We don't have to talk every day, but I'd like to have regular conversations whenever we're both available.

I'm only interested in a genuine language exchange and friendship. I'd appreciate it if you only reach out if you're interested in the same. Thank you for understanding.

If you're interested, feel free to send me a short introduction about yourself. I look forward to learning together!

Offering English Offering: English | Seeking: Hungarian

Hello! English is the only language I’m confident in teaching much of, since my Spanish has gotten very rusty, but I am willing to teach it alongside learning what Hungarian I can. I am actually in the early stages of developing an alternate history conlang based on Old Hungarian, so I figure having an understanding of at least modern Hungarian and working backwards from there would be exceptionally helpful for me - and besides, I think it’s about time I learned another language again. Also, would very much prefer someone who doesn’t mind that I’m LGBTQ+!

Hobbies include: history, Paradox games, music, socionics personality typology, worldbuilding, roleplay/TTRPGs

Offering English Offering: English |Seeking: Japanese

Hi! I’m a 35F native English speaker from the US currently living in Okinawa. I’m looking for a native Japanese speaker (preferably living in Japan for the time zone) who’s interested in regular language exchange and hopefully becoming friends.

I’ve found solo learning really difficult because of my ADHD, so I learn much better through natural conversation than apps. I’m still a beginner, so patience is appreciated! In return, I’m happy to help you with English!

I’m into PC gaming, animals, cooking, baking, Pokémon, crafting, and other nerdy hobbies. I’d love to eventually chat on Discord via text or voice chat, or even play co-op games while we practice.

If you’re 21+ and interested in a language exchange that could grow into a genuine friendship, send me a message!

Hi all! I'm 19F and a native English speaker looking to improve my Mandarin, which is sitting around a B1-B2 right now. I'd also love to work on my Japanese, but I'm still a complete beginner, so I may take some time.

I'd love to help with English in return; I've tutored before, so I'm quite patient! If you're also learning Mandarin, we could definitely practice together. Feel free to reach out if it seems like we'd click :)

My biggest thing is just improving conversational skills so I would love for someone to be really dedicated to studying just like me.

Anyone who has a higher proficiency of B1-C1. It would be great if you could help me. (:

Offering Mandarin [Seeking] English / [Offering] Mandarin | English Education grad student looking for a conversation partner!

Hi everyone!

My name is yuyan (22F). Now I’m a graduate student majoring in English Education from China.

Here’s my little confession: despite studying English education, my spoken English isn't where I want it to be yet! I often find myself overthinking grammar or struggling to express my thoughts smoothly in real-time. So, I’m stepping out of my comfort zone to practice!

What I’m looking for:

- Native or fluent English speakers who are patient and open to casual chats.

- Practice via text/voice messages first, and short voice calls later if we're both comfortable.

- Any topic is welcome! Daily life, hobbies, academic life, culture, movies, or books.

What I can offer in return:

- Native Mandarin proficiency: I can help with daily conversation, pronunciation, and culture/slang.

- A teacher’s patience: Since my major is in teaching, I’m happy to help explain language points or fix sentence structures!

If you’re learning Mandarin and want a friendly partner to practice with, feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM!

Looking forward to connecting!
