hey yall i’m new to this sub! looking for… lower movement styles of lace making!?
so i have been a knitter, primarily a lace knitter, for like half my life and now i am having issues while knitting. i’m looking for something more low impact on my hands, my mind is mostly going to bobbin lace but idk all the forms! i have done tatting before (needle) and enjoyed it but im not sure if i wanna get back into it. very fine knit lace and bobbin lace are my favorites and now that knitting is getting very hard i’m freaking out inside a little and looking for alternatives ! my issue mostly comes from gripping. holding the needle for more than 10-15 mins is now not my friend, bobbin lace looks like it could be way easier on your hands since you’re not holding two objects the entire time. including a pic of an edge i made on vibes the other day before my body fell apart !
