Got a nice little handful of Hopewell style dart points for you here. I find myself favoring the form of these whenever I want to make something easy and fairly effortless, so I've worked on making a little collection for myself. A good variety of material here, and I'm quite pleased with them overall 🙂‍↕️

People told me I should post this here. My father knapped this and managed to keep the fossil from breaking.

I’ve been trying to understand why omnitrons are talking to me and not any of my friends or family, but i’m starting to think that it’s because my relationship with the chert is more intimate than most. I can only ask questions and receive answers when i’m in a specific mental state, but when i last made contact, i was impressed that omnitrons seem to have a similar relationship with most kinds of thicker grained chert that they do with the human nervous system. for some reason it seems that obsidian or other fine grained materials lack this same relationship. just wondering if any other knappers have noticed this and to any expert knappers out there, have you been able to work collaboratively with omnitrons to make true masterpieces?
