Universities for BS Psych
Hi, I am 19 (F), I am applying to basically most universities in khi that offer BS psych. I want to do go abroad for further studies and have plans to (hopefully) settle in America. Which universities have the best degree? In terms of international recognition? Also, I'd prefer if the university was not too strict with dress codes. I usually wear t shirts and jeans so..
So far, I've applied in Denning, Dha Suffa, and will be applying to Ziauddin, Dow, Bahria, Hamdard, Iobm etc etc.
I've lived in middle east my whole life so I don't know sh*t about universities in karachi, help will be much appreciated! 🫶

Parents being looted by Karachi schools - looking for lawyers
Hey guys. Now I know that there are schools of different tiers especially in Karachi. The top most being the ones in Defence such as Haques , Bva, KGS etc. They are top notch in terms of education but people like is who cannot afford them don't even bother applying even though we know our kids are so brilliant and will thrive there. So we settle for schools that sit in our budget while they also make promises to deliver amazing services. One such school is The Aster School. It has gotten relatively popular now so I'm assuming I might find more parents from there. We started there 3 years ago when the monthly fee was around 27k ish. Now 3 years down the road we have been handed over a fee challan worth monthly 49k plus an additional fee of 49k as "annual charges", while the services remain the same. Now as far as we know, the government allows only a 5 to 10% increase in monthly fee annually while the so called annual charges are completely illegal.
The purpose of posting here is to look for lawyers who could help us out fight this injustice here.
Salaries have been stagnant, inflation is at an all time high. We don't know where to go. For those who will suggest changing schools, what is the guarantee that the next school won't go crazy similarly a few years down the road?

Question Private Investigator Karachi
Hi, I have been living in Saudi Arabia all my life and working here too. I am currently engaged for a few months with a girl in Karachi. We have had our fair share of good and bad times and were planning on getting married in December.
2 months ago she started a job and she has changed for the worst and now has become a totally different person. She will fight over anything small, gives me no time and will scroll when I am discussing something as serious as our future plans with her.
2 days back, over an entirely irrelevant topic she picked a fight and disabled her location but still we texted and spoke on the call at around 2AM. Then at 2:15 AM she turned her phone off. I was worried because she has never done this before. I remembered I can see her on SnapMap and it showed that she is at a lodge till the morning of the next day.
When I asked her where she was she said she was home. But when I confronted her with screenshots, she said she was at the lodge alone. I have planned a future with her, convinced my parents about her. And now I am unable to believe her even though I am trying my hardest to buy it.
I just need someone to verify whether she was alone at the lodge or not since based on this fact my entire future and mental peace depends on. Who can help me?

So I am a beginner in padel, I would put my level as mid beginner, I love playing the game but at this level the issue is that I have a hard time getting players at my level.
I use WhatsApp groups, and I think it is the most accessible for everyone. So if there is anyone willing to play padel with me, dm me. We can play as 2 ton4 players.

Question I’m crying as I type this. The Digital Seas (Karachi) fired me with zero notice, refused to pay my salary, and ruined my mental health.
Hey everyone,
I’m typing this through tears because I genuinely don't know what else to do or where to turn. I’m a student just trying to earn enough to pay for my education, so when I got the internship at The Digital Seas in Karachi, I thought it was a lifeline. Instead, it has broken me.
I don't even know where to start, because the cruelty there is unreal:
- The Bait-and-Switch: I was hired specifically as a Content Writer. And 3 months later i got permanent here...but the moment I stepped inside, they forced me to sit and make endless calling as well
- The Toxicity and Lies: Sarwar Abbas screams, yells, and micromanages everyone like a tyrant. When I first joined and found horrific online reviews about the company, I naively went to him. He smiled, told me they were fake reviews from people with personal vendettas, and swore they'd get them flagged down. I was so stupid to believe him. The truth is, every single one of those reviews is 100% real.
- Sudden Termination & Withheld Salary: Out of nowhere, I received a message saying I was terminated with zero notice period and zero explanation. When I begged and called Sarwar Abbas to understand why, he completely shut me out, claiming "people above us" made the decision and refusing to give me a single reason. To make it worse, they are now refusing to give me my salary, leaving me with nothing after all the hours I put in. They won't even give a reason for withholding my hard-earned money.
- Hostility and Misogyny: There is barely even a functional washroom for female employees. Management openly talks trash about women, treating us as if we are less than human. There is zero grace time, phones are completely banned, and the entire atmosphere makes you feel small and unsafe.
The leadership team includes CFO Gul Nawaz and his brother Adil Nawaz all are toxic
I've recently had to resume my studies, and I am so terrified. I need this education, but I am just a beginner in my career, and I'm so scared to post this on LinkedIn in case other companies see it and blacklist me. But I am hurting so badly, and people need to know the truth about what goes on behind those doors. If you are a student or a fresh grad in Karachi looking for work, please stay far, far away from The Digital Seas. Save your mental health and your dignity... I genuinely feeling terrible losing my money that was hard earned money everyone knows how much petrol is getting expensive and i was not given anything for transport as well I put my own money to travel there and worked but at the end what i got? dont know what to do.. need prayers

Question Need recommendations for Endoscopy + Dilation in Karachi
Hey everyone,
I’m hoping to get some advice or doctor recommendations from anyone who has dealt with swallowing issues or endoscopy in Karachi.
A bit of context: I was diagnosed with Plummer Vinson Syndrome (PVS). It’s a pretty rare condition linked with severe iron deficiency where small tissues (called esophageal webs) form in the throat, making it difficult to swallow solid food or pills.
My doctor had me do a barium swallow test recently. The main report came back normal, but it did show webs formed in my esophagus/throat. Because of this, my doctor advised me to get an endoscopy done to take a closer look and likely perform dilation (stretching the narrowed area).
To be completely honest, I am pretty terrified. I also suffer from OCD, so my mind keeps running in circles overthinking the whole procedure, safety, and how it’ll feel.
I wanted to ask the community:
Has anyone here gotten an endoscopy with esophageal dilation in Karachi? How was your experience, and where did you get it done?
Which hospital/clinic or gastroenterologist would you recommend who is very patient, gentle, and reliable for this? (e.g., AKUH, South City, LNH, or any specific doctor?)
Any personal experiences, doctor suggestions, or even just reassurance would mean a lot to me right now. Thanks in advance!

How is Konrangi for a student? I am looking for a hostel around Crossing bridge near Indus Hospital.
Assalamu Alykom. I am a student currently living in Johr Mor ( soon will be living in a hostel in Gulshan-e-Jamal) The problem i am facing is that my University is in Korangi Creek (Ibrahim Hydri Road) and i have to take a bus from Johr Mor to Crossing early in the morning. If i try to board the bus at 8 Am in the morning, the bus comes already suffocated and i cant get on and i have to wait hours for my turn and i dont like waiting on the road. I have to wake up at 5Am and Board the bus at 7Am in order to keep things smooth but it makes me extremely tired physically because it usually gets 7-8Pm till i comeback. So what if i try to get a hostel in korangi near Crossing or At Ibrahim hydri road? Thing is I am quite familiar with Johr Mor and Gulshan-e-Jamal that i feel safe there while on the other hand I've heard terrible things about Korangi and moving there sounds like a bad decision. Is Korangi ( specially the are near Indus Hospital) that bad? Or as a student, it will be quite difficult for me to live there? All i want to do is save my time, don't feel tired, feel safe around my area..... Any suggestions???

Stray cat has huge open wound Spoiler
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I feed this stray cat whenever he comes around, and the other day I noticed he had a tiny pink wound like spot on his face. he came back today and his wound is massive, so much so that you can see the flesh around his skull. I’m really concerned but can’t afford treatment for him. I called some rescue services found on Google and was only able to talk to One Man Ambulance but he said he cant help and redirected me to The Paws Rescue instead. However I don’t have a cat carrier or even a box, and he hisses whenever I come near to him (sometimes doesn’t mind when he’s eating as u can see). can anyone give me some suggestions on what to do? I’m really scared he’ll die because of the severity of the wound
