Anyone facing message glitch ?

I block their account, but they temporarily deactivate it, and when they reactivate it, the block is gone. Is there a way to permanently block this person so they can't find, view, or contact me, even if they deactivate and reactivate their account?

When I try to log in on Instagram with my password and user name correctly. Then The instructions say do a 1 minute selfie I did. I also got two people to verify me now After all that it still didn't let me log in. Then I downloaded the Duo Authentic and the codes it gives me to put in Instagram don't work. Please help.

Someone hacked my brother in law's account, wiped his entire media (no photos, reels, followers, everything) and his username is changed too. Now someone else's name was showing up— Turkannn Kocca and someone else. Is Instagram database run totally by AI that even whilst sending the security email that "your account is disabled and will be permanently deleted BY someone from the team after verifying", is sent to the same email ID but different names? Why on Earth would he (my brother in law) change his username within an hour or two and for what reason? He made his account way back in 2015-2016, almost a decade ago and there's nothing helpful anywhere. Tried everything the instagram help desk or whatever it's called told us to do. It had pictures of him and his wife, and his family there. What can be done now? The reason for disabling is something along the lines of "adult solicitation" and stuff. Why would he do that when mere hours before he got his account disabled, he was watching reels and texting with his friends. The phone number and the email address is his but the username wasn't. Despite trying to appeal and everything, the decision is "final" and crap.

I believe the account of someone who engages in fraud and threatens to share people's nude images should be shut down. Despite my reporting it, the account has not been closed. What can I do about this? The user already shares adult content, has low engagement statistics, and the account also has bot followers. Can you help me?

Im sorry but whats the point same with Snapchat Plus. It seems that social media sites are just panning to the whole idea of seeing without being seen, but what is there to gain yk. Whats the point of being able to see story’s anonymously? You already follow the person. I dont get it at all.

Context: My boyfriend and I are logged into the same Instagram account on our phones. Recently, he told me that he went to watch one of his friend’s stories, and the first four stories appeared as if they had already been viewed.
I mean the way Instagram works when someone uploads multiple stories—if you’ve already watched some of them, the next time you open their stories, Instagram takes you to the point where you left off. According to him, that’s what happened, but he insists he never watched those first four stories. Because of that, he’s accusing me of watching them from the account.
The problem is that I’m 100% sure I never opened that person’s stories or even went to their profile. I have no reason to lie, so I’m really confused.
Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is it possible for Instagram to mark stories as viewed or move the progress forward because of a bug, syncing between devices, or some other reason, even if neither person actually watched them? I already looked into it, and as far as I can tell, it doesn’t seem like it was caused by a connection or loading issue.
I’d really appreciate any experiences or explanations because I genuinely want to know if this is something Instagram can do on its own or if there’s another explanation.

im trying to do that feature where you can see the songs you’re listening to on your insta notes. i used to be able to do this as my instagram was connected to my spotify but randomly it got unlinked?
i followed the steps to get it relinked: it went to spotify -> said “authorised” -> redirected to instagram website -> said that the page doesn’t exist
im sure the “currently listening to” notes are still working as one of my friends still has it. i also don’t think this has anything to do with instagram being “broken” yesterday/today-ish because i had this issue on sunday

Is anyone else experiencing issues with their dms? For the past two week I keep getting restriction placed on my dms and I appeal and get it removed straight away. When I check the status of my instagram it has all green ticks yet when I attempt to send new messages to new accounts it fails. I am only able to send message to existing accounts.
I use my Instagram for both my personal and business so I have quiet a few messages per day but it’s only in the last two weeks this has been happening when I haven’t changed anything in the past year.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do

so I am from south asia, while scrolling through reels theres a guy named jamed dekle(insta id-official.jgetlit) and his brother jacari myrick (dassocari11) I see them lifting girls(mostly whites) and curl them and touch b*tt and stuff in the process. and there are 1000s video of these people doing this almost all unscripted.
what I failed to understand is, how 1000s white girls were ok with a random guy touching them and lifting them up and which was also going to be posted on internet. are girls literally that woke in US/West ? or its just a particular sect of people doing that can someone please explain.
