Some would say this gives players a concerning amount of freedom to abuse the law.

I like to think it's just the right amount of freedom to make the court proceedings fun!

However, this also means more freedom for all involved, including the defendants, than would be imaginable in any real courtroom... so don't feel to bad about randomly pulling a piece on someone.

Promotion New lighting update for my relaxing hiking game

Over the past few weeks, I've been focusing on a major visual update for HIKE: Beyond the Trails.
I completely reworked the game's lighting to create a warm, late-afternoon, semi-sunset atmosphere. The goal wasn't just to improve the visuals, but to strengthen the feeling of being immersed in a peaceful natural environment.

These screenshots represent an important milestone in the project's visual evolution, but they're not the final destination. Before release, I plan to continue refining the lighting, atmosphere, and environmental details to push the visual quality even further.

Discussion Reworked our combo juice and UI based on playtest feedback. Would love to get your thoughts on the changes

Hey everyone!

Almost everyone who playtested our game PEGTURE: Peg Solitaire Roguelike had similar issues. The combo counter lacked punch, the overall juice felt flat, and people kept losing track of their last played piece.

So I put together an experimental pass to address all of that based on the feedback. Here’s what changed:

  • Redesigned the combo counter and its effects. It now gradually glows red as your combo builds up.
  • Added a small wind arrow effect that travels to the score counter after every move.
  • The last played peg now has an animated spiral ring around it, which also turns red with higher combos.
  • Changed how peg info works. It used to open when hovering over a peg for too long, which confused players. Now it simply opens with a right click.

Really looking for honest opinions on these tweaks. Feel free to say what works, what doesn't, or what you think is missing. All critique is welcome!

Been working on this for quite a while, and it's finally ready to play! It's a free to play online racing/delivery game that's playable directly in your browser. No downloads or launchers or anything. You don't even have to make an account if you don't want to. Took a ton of inspiration from Crazy Taxi and Mario Kart. Promotion I just launched the Steam page for Riftmoor — a Colony Sim + Dungeon Crawler

Hi everyone,

This is my game Riftmoor, and it’s been in development since the end of 2025. I’m a huge fan of Oxygen Not Included and Norland, so I set out to make my own colony sim while adding something more to it.

Inspired by the dungeon system from the anime Solo Leveling, portals periodically spawn in your world and you must send armies to clear the dungeons. In addition, there is a portal at the center of your town that you can dive into for different challenges and rewards.

The goal is to release my game by December of this year!

Thank you!

News If you enjoyed The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante, you can now return to the same universe - but this time as someone whose decisions can determine the fate of the entire Empire.

The new game from the creators of The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante once again takes players to the Arknian Empire, but the story unfolds from a completely different perspective. You are the heir to the throne, tasked with preventing the country from falling apart while dealing with noble intrigues, conflicts within the Church, and growing unrest among the people.

If you enjoy games where choices have real long-term consequences and there are rarely any truly “right” decisions, now you can see how this formula works on the scale of an entire Empire.

Upcoming Gradanix — a free permadeath co-op action-RPG roguelike I've been building solo, looking for testers!

Hey all — I've been solo-developing Gradanix, a permadeath co-op action-RPG roguelike, and it's at a point where I'd love some outside players to break it and tell me what sucks.

The pitch: pick one of 7 classes (Warrior, Paladin, Rogue, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Warlock), descend through an endless, ever-harder dungeon, and see how deep you can get before you die — for good. No respawns, no checkpoints. Play solo or bring up to 3 friends through Steam co-op (no port forwarding, no faffing with firewalls — just press Host and send an invite). Talent trees, legendary loot, random zone events, a shard economy, and a global leaderboard tracking the deepest solo and co-op runs.

It's completely free to try right now — still in alpha, so expect rough edges, and that's exactly what I need eyes on.

How to play:

  1. Grab the launcher: https://gradanix.com/play
  2. Run it, it self-updates, hit Play
  3. Pick a class and either Host (Steam co-op, one click) or Join a friend

Windows only for now. Steam sign-in is optional but gets your runs on the leaderboard.

Bugs, feedback, or just want to grab a group for a run: https://discord.gg/mgRj3BHrvG

Upcoming Age of Kin

Playable Link: https://hesdefault.itch.io/age-of-kin

Youtube Gameplay Link: https://youtu.be/hAtK7UzwT6w

Platform: Windows/Android

Description: Age of Kin is a creature collecting/battling roguelike with a focus on decision depth, party roster building and management, and synergy combinations.

If you love creature collecting games, and roguelikes similar to Slay the Spire, I would love to hear your feedback! Act 1 and 2 are available for this vertical slice, along with the guided run tutorial to help you learn how to play.

  • 88 unique tamable Kin to add to your part
  • alternate skins, achievements
  • a pokedex style collection system, over 100 unique items
  • a massive ability tree to make each run completely unique

This is a passion project as a first time dev. I am hoping to just test the gameplay loop to validate if its fun. If it is, I plan to redo all of the artwork and invest in more game polish, but wanted to get external testers into the game. Each act is about 20-30 minutes of gameplay, with Act 1 and 2 fully functional.

Free to play status: Free! for now

Involvement - 1st time solo dev!
