iPhone 15 Pro Max What are the best camera settings ?
Going on a trip in two weeks and i am mostly taking videos of nature and scenery. I am wondering what format could give the best quality. Also when the trip is over i will transfer everything to a USB thumb drive, so storage will not be a problem for me.

iPhone 17 Pro Max a low-light short film I made in a carpark, on my iPhone 17 Pro

Hi all, I wanted to share Singer, my latest short film shot on an iPhone 17 Pro.
This was probably our most technically challenging iPhone shoot yet, particularly when working in low light on a small sensor. We captured in Apple Log 2, ProRes RAW HQ and Open Gate through the Blackmagic Camera app, with around half of the film shot directly through the native 24mm camera.
The 4224 × 3024 full-sensor readout gave us plenty of room to reframe in post, while ProRes RAW provided additional flexibility when adjusting settings such as ISO and white balance in DaVinci Resolve. But... project size was about 2.2TB haha (Captured in the Blackmagic camera App)
Overall, I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. I'm open book so, happy to answer any technical or filmmaking questions.
Also wrote this behind the scenes article on my blog too if you're keen to read more: https://kirkmihelakos.com/singerbts
