I'm excited to share that I've just completed my training in Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP and Coaching!

As part of my final assessment, I'm looking for a volunteer for a free 60 min session over Zoom.

The session will be:

  • Completely free
  • Conducted over Zoom (I'm UK-based but anyone comfortable with UK time zones is welcome)
  • Strictly confidential
  • Recorded solely for my examiner to assess my skills as part of my qualification. The recording will remain private and won't be shared or used for any other purpose.

If you'd be interested in volunteering please send me a DM. Thanks!

General Questions Built a free self-hypnosis audio library and binaural beats generator, looking for honest feedback from people who actually use this stuff

I've been a hypnotherapist for sixteen years and I kept running into the same problem with clients between sessions: the gap. They'd leave feeling good and then have nothing to work with at home.

So I put together a free audio library, about 15 tracks covering sleep, anxiety, confidence, focus, and a few others. I also built a binaural beats generator you can customize by frequency and session length. No app download, no subscription. Email signup to access, that's it.

I'm not here to promote it. I genuinely want to know if the content is landing, whether the tracks feel clinical and stiff or actually useful, and whether the binaural tool is intuitive or confusing.

If you use self-hypnosis recordings or binaural beats regularly, I'd really value your take. Happy to share the link in the comments for anyone who wants to try it and give feedback.

Research & Evidence Hypnosis for Emetophobia and Backstory

Upvotes

I have a fear of throwing up. I have struggled with constipation since I was a baby and have been to a gastroenterologist, and the nausea is caused by it. Very seldom, when I feel nausea, I can prevent an anxiety attack from happening. I know I never throw up when I feel like that but in the back of my mind, it's that "what if"? I have been doing CBT and did a few hypnosis sessions for it, but I don't think it is really helping me long-term. I can say this: I did not use to have this fear of throwing up/ feeling nauseous until when I was in second grade I felt nauseous all day, went to the nurse, did not have a temperature so I had to stay at school. I was on the bus, and I ran to the front of the bus to the trash can and threw up in front of everyone. Everyone was looking at me. When the stomach virus was going around my coworker got it, and he left work early. I got very paranoid to the point of getting 90% alcohol and spraying down the machine controls, throwing away papers he touched, and after I left work, I went and bought activated charcoal because I read it gets rid of sickness and toxins in your body. Anxiety can trigger the nausea too, that I am assuming, so it's an annoying cycle I deal with. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am in East Texas, if that helps with any suggestions for a good hypnotherapist.
