On the map it looks like it would feel isolated but I’m really curious!

I’ve always found these two Spanish cities in North Africa fascinating. Do they feel more like Spain or Morocco in everyday life? What’s the culture, safety, cost of living, and border situation like? Would you recommend living there?

Not Rome. I'm sure that one was asked a handful of times. Ciampino. It is very loosely related to my corner of the world - as Pendik is a sister city/town of Kispest (district 19 of Budapest, most notable for tractors and Ferenc Puskás I guess), and Pendik is also a sister city of Ciampino...apparently.

For my own entertainment I fed this question to a couple of LLMs and they said it is a 7.5/8.5 in terms of overall value and quality of life.

I was recently looking at a historical map showing the post-1949 division between the Federal Republic of Germany (West) and the German Democratic Republic (East). I've attached the image for context.

It’s been well over 30 years since the reunification, but I’m very curious about how much of this historical border is still felt in everyday life today. For those of you who live or have lived in Germany:

• Culture & social life: are there noticeable differences in daily habits, mindsets, or how people interact with each other?
• Economy & infrastructure: is the economic gap still obvious in day-to-day life? Do cities and towns still look drastically different architecturally?

I posted yesterday about Northern Spain near the basque country, but I am also curious about the bottom part of Portugal and the bottom left side of Spain. I have never been to this part of Portugal, but I am really familiar with everything Lisbon and above because I have done the Porto route of the Camino de Santiago.

How is it living in that area of Switzerland? Are there many immigrants or more locals? Is it safe? Tell me anything you might know.

For those that have moved from Ontario to Quebec . would have been the pros and cons. I find the properties in Quebec are so much more practical in designs. The architecture is unique.
