You can dress it up or down

Cream cheese, fresh jalapeños, and caramelized onions. Not sure if yellow mustard is traditional, but I added it.

Y'all gonna tear me up for this one.

Toasted brioche bun, tomato, onion. Grilled hotdogs with pepper jack and cheddar, bacon, and green onions.

Toasted bun, Nathan dog air fried, melted Swiss on bottom. Siracha, Mustard and a touch of Sweet relish, white onion.

I may need to make another.

Had the opportunity to go on a long road trip this summer and ate some dogs along the way. Here's the rundown - yes, there were spots I missed (couldn't do Ben's Chili Bowl in DC this time around, and I've still never managed to make it to Yocco's in Allentown), but I am very satisfied with my journey:

• Lafayette Coney Island (Detroit, MI) - Favorite dogs of this trip
• Mickey's Gyros and Ribs (Oak Park, IL) - Bonus Italian beef sandwich
• Skyline Chili (Centerville, OH)
• Oriole Park at Camden Yards (Baltimore, MD) - Best ballpark hot dog I've had to date
• Abe's Hot Dogs (Wilkes-Barre, PA)

Sometimes ya just gotta treat yourself

Oscar Meyer all beef Weiner, chili beans, ketchup, mustard, shoestring potatoes.

I used to eat them like this as a kid in Puerto Rico. Today I finally found the potato sticks in stores and was able to recreate my childhood favorite. The potatoes add a nice crunch to your dog and aren't super overpowering with flavor. Everything is nicely balanced and tastes very yummy.

Chili, cheese, relish and chopped jalapenos.
