Uggh I'm an old fan and I came straight on here when I saw the footage of CL with Lufti. I can't understand why she would be associating with him? I read the allegations against him regarding treatment of CL, her sister and FB. It was all pretty awful.

And was he not involved in the whole guitar mess with FBs ex husband with that Ross guy?

When CL moved to England, she kept mentioning in interviews that she got out of LA by the skin of her teeth but was legally obligated not to talk about it.. I always assumed that had something to do with the mess associated with Lufti.

All of the signs of CL doing well were there and the book, record and movie seemed to be really happening.. but now I'm starting to think the wheels might be coming off. I mean yes, I do want the book and the record, but more importantly, I hope she's ok and surrounded by good people.

Anyway, in it, both Courtney and Melissa briefly talk about how the album has 12 songs and there are 12 zodiac signs so they assigned a song to each sign. However they only said a couple songs and which sign they were attached to. I think I remember her talking about this briefly in another interview, but never listing out each song and zodiac sign.

Does anyone happen to know which songs corresponded to which sign. I know it's a long shot but I'm into astrology amd obviously into Hole so I always thought it was a cool concept.

So if anyone has any information it would be much appreciated. Or maybe just educated guesses on which ones you guys think correspond to which sign.

Does anyone remember when Melissa Auf der Maur signed up to Kitty Radio (I want to say this was during its final year or two of being an active online community), because she was trying to promote a project or herself, if I recall correctly. Melissa is obviously a sensitive artist that walks and talks like a sensitive artist would. And as we know, she can be a bit kooky, Mother Earth in her writing sometimes (I say this as a fan), so you can imagine the response when she signed up and started posting about wanting to create meaningful art and such.

She was basically laughed off of the forum. It was so painful to read. People were like, “What the fuck?” Partly because they probably didn’t believe her, and the other half because Melissa was waxing poetic to the wrong audience.

Anyway, this was just a random Kitty Radio memory that popped into my head.

I’m in the midst of another Hole obsession resurgence, so I need to touch base with this community and discuss with fellow fanatics.

We know the obvious ones like milk, but what are some other sayings or imagery that Courtney often uses in her writing?

I’ve noticed that she tends to talk about taking everything or wanting everything. There’s Violet, and in her cover of Bad Romance, she changes out a few lyrics to mention wanting everything until nothing is left. You could also extend this out to songs like All the Drugs in my opinion. Doll Parts, even, because of “girl with the most cake”.

What are some other less talked about symbols or lines in her writing that you’ve noticed?
