HealthyHooha Update 2026

EDIT:
TLDR - Don't be a transphobe. Don't be a creep. Mods are being recruited. Add user flair. <3

Hello Healthy Hooha community! We hope everyone is thriving.

We wanted to check in with everyone and offer a few reminders and acknowledgements.

·       This is intended to be a safe, inclusive place for vaginal health. Trans individuals are welcome here. Bigotry, nastiness, and rule breaking will result in comment/post removal and a ban. We have additional resources in the sidebar regarding trans health.

·       There are creepers here. They may DM you inappropriately or leave comments with a fetishizing tone. Flag their comments and report them to us, and we will ban them, as this is against sub rules. HOWEVER, please keep in mind, that banning them does not stop them from viewing the community and DMing users. It only stops them from posting and commenting.

·       To that end, we are making a concerted effort to increase monitoring of the subreddit. On the one hand, there’s only so much we can do to avoid inappropriate content/comments, short of making the subreddit private (more on that in a moment). On the other, we can improve our modding efficiency using the tools available to us – and have been making strides to do so.

·       We are recruiting more moderators to help with this. We acknowledge that the sub has been undermoderated lately.  Our vision with moderating going forward is to moderate in “real time”, meaning avoiding having to wait for troublesome comments to get flagged and instead remove them before it becomes necessary. If you are interested in modding, please see the application form. The existing mods are establishing vetting guidelines and will recruit accordingly.

·       We’ve occasionally noticed comments asking why this sub isn’t private. Our vision for this sub from the beginning was to make vaginal health visible and accessible – a place where we can share our struggles, commiserate, and feel less alone. Privatizing the sub, in our opinion, is counter to that goal. But we also understand that this makes creepers and fetishists more likely to invade a space that isn’t for them. With an increase in moderation and moderator tools, we hope to combat this and keep vaginal health visible and accessible to those who need it.

·       Consider doing searches for commonly posted topics. As a reminder, photos are technically allowed but in all honesty are rarely helpful, and no one here can give true medical advice.

We are also going to be testing a new feature - designated some posts as Flaired User Only posts. This will restrict comments to users who have added flair from this community. Mods will be using this at our discretion to limit comments to flaired community members only. We think this will be helpful in limiting off topic, fetishizing, or otherwise inappropriate comments.

We thank everyone for their patience, and for your involvement and support in making this a reliable safe community. Wishing everyone well!

HealthyHooha Community Check In

Hello to our beautiful community! We wanted to check in, provide updates, and answer some FAQs/give clarification.

  1. Banning users - We often get modmails reporting users that are requesting DMs and/or being creeps. We'd like to clarify that we can and do ban users that do this. It should be noted however, that banning them does not stop them from viewing the sub and DMing users. It only stops them from posting and commenting. The only way to actually keep people from viewing the sub is by going private - something we've always been committed to not doing in order to keep it accessible for those who need it. If you notice someone soliciting DMs/photos in posts or comments, please continue to report and modmail. We highly recommend directly blocking anyone who actually sends you unwanted DMs.

  2. Crossposts ARE allowed, but they get caught by our AutoMod filters we have in place. We have to manually approve them. Same with any sort of link/photo even if they are not NSFW. We have this in place to avoid NSFW photos showing up in users' feeds.

  3. We will be recruiting more mods soon. We are in process of coming up with screening questions/application for approval. Higher education credentials strongly preferred. Stay tuned for the mod application.

Thanks for you patience with us and for making this a beautiful, supportive, inclusive community. Happy holiday season to all, however you celebrate.

Rant 🤬 “that’s the worst one i’ve ever seen” ~ ER gyno

WARNING: disgusting

i’m currently dealing with a second yeast infection in the past 2 months… however this one got so bad i cried throughout the whole night and went to the hospital in the morning, after another gyno i booked decided to cancel my fucking appointment (asshole).
in the hospital a gyno and a nurse examined me and neither of em could believe what they were seeing, so they called in another more experienced older gyno.
It was in fact another candida infection. It took it only 3 days (and i was already treating it with overcounter meds meanwhile) to absolutely disable me. we’re talking open wounds, labias triple it’s normal size, skin red like angry bird from the front til the very bottom (and i mean it. my butt is not ok.) I had to use a wheelchair to move around.
On top of that it was my first EVER gyno examination.
AND ON TOP OF THAT I am currently in vacation in italy.
AND ON TOP OF FUCKING THAT THE MEDICINE AND VISIT ARE €170.

if anybody got any opinions on:
flucomazole
dafnegin
or canestan cream

i’d very gladly hear your guys experiences.

Fuck u italy…

Advice Needed Excessive amounts of sex

So I have posted about this before. Not this specific thing but my very active sex life. I (32f) and my partner (35m) have an absolutely insane sex life. We are both very sexually driven and cannot keep our hands off of each other whenever we are together. If we spend a whole day together we could easily have sex 12-15 times where we both cum. He is one of those guys who can have multiples so we spend a lot of time in the bedroom. For work he is gone for 24 hours at a time so there is some gaps. Anyway. My vagina is having issues with this. My IUD was displaced and then I had replaced. I have had 2 UTIs and a yeast infection as well as I can feel my urethra like pulsing sometimes and occasionally it’s just downright sore/raw. We are big fans of the cream pie and I am just wondering if there is anything I can do to be proactive about my vaginal health at this point. I have used boric acid in the past but unsure how helpful that will be.

I am looking for recs on suppositories, supplements, tips that worked for you, similar situations, or anything that may help me continue to enjoy this man at this capacity.

I know the realistic solution would be to give it a break but I don’t want to 😅

Scared of the outcome

Upvotes

Let’s get this out there, I’m terrified. I’ve always had a fishy odor, to the point where keeping my legs closed was the only option after a long day of work. I never thought much of it, which is concerning if its own. Nevertheless, I’ve also always had some sort of discharge as well. So I thought, you know what something has to be wrong.

Fast forward to three weeks ago. I decided to call the doctor and explain my symptoms. They prescribed me metronidazole for BV. After finishing the cycle, my odor seemed to vanish. Hooray! I thought that was the trick. Now, onto the shitty part. I partook in a very vigorous sexual rendezvous after finishing the meds. I typically tear during sex so I was hurting the same night. That’s another story. Fast forward to three days after I find a bump one bump. I didn’t think anything of it because I also get razer burn pretty bad.

Fast forward a few days, I know how have ulcers EVERYWHERE. My vagina is swollen, I have a white discharge. But the ulcers are the worst. They are legit everywhere, they aren’t like all next to each other but they are inside the labia, next to the labia, on my up buttocks, near my anus. I’m terrified of it being HSV but I’ve come to terms that it could be. It just blows my mind how many there are and the location of it. Could it be anything else?

Never felt anything like this before and currently can’t go to the doctor because I can’t afford to.

Is this normal? 👀 Should I be experiencing this after having sex for the first time

Hi all, recently my partner and I had sex it was my first time and it was amazing however I'm having some concerning physical issues afterwards and I'm worried about what it could be

To start, about 3 days ago my partner and I intimacy afterwards I felt fine I peed right after a little while later I did have some slight pain / soreness to the point I court even close my legs but chalked it up to it just being my first time and him getting a little rough and went to bed

2 days ago I felt better slight soreness if I sat down for a long but that eventually went away later however a new problem arose that day I was extremely itchy it was mainly near the opening or near my inner labia I originally thought it could've been from the friction as well as how rough he was causing tearing but I didn't think it would be due to an infection as he got tested before seeing me and I was a virgin beforehand as far as pain or unusual urine colors I didn't experience any of that just itching and slight swelling

Yesterday I still experienced some itching and swelling but the itching had subsided a bit and wasn't as intense anymore later on that day I noticed a pale red stain on my toilet paper when I went to wipe I thought it could've been the result of tearing maybe some last minute spotting from it being my first time or I might've injured myself from scratch didnt really think much of it

Today I woke up to find large amounts of blood soaking through my underwear and even my pants it was an extremely dark red color not even my menstrual cycle has blood this dark it was about the darkness or my period clots however there was no clotting and it seemed like it was a bit "sticky" and it dried like a purplish red color I have no idea where it came from as I've already had my period earlier this month and didn't experience any cramping or cravings nor other symptoms and slight tearing from sex wouldn't result in this much blood it was as if I was on my period with the amount of blood that came out but I don't think I would have a cycle twice in one month I took a shower and still had swelling down there and it was super tender to the touch but I also started to feel extremely nauseous a few minutes into the shower I had to stop mid shower and sit down to take a breather thankfully I didn't throw up or anything but I still do feel slightly nauseous at the moment

Just some things to reiterate or mention

My partner is slightly bigger than average it took me 3 months just to adjust and be able to fully take him in

My partner has a vasectomy so I don't think I could be pregnant

I was a virgin beforehand and he got tested before seeing me so I doubt either of us could have some sort of Std/Sti or infection we couldve given the other person

We did not use any lube nor condoms at the time

Thankfully I do have a gyno appointment scheduled next week and I will be voicing my concerns but is this normal? If not what could I be experiencing??

Clear BV with probiotics

Hi!

Last month I got BV after having unprotected sex while I was on my period. My doctor prescribed metronidazole vaginal suppositories and it cleared up.

We had unprotected sex again the day after my period ended and now I’m noticing that same fishy smell again and I’m pretty sure the BV is back.

My boyfriend is really against antibiotics and thinks I should just try probiotic vaginal suppositories instead and let my body fix itself.
Has anyone actually gotten rid of BV with just probiotic suppositories? Or did you end up needing antibiotics anyway? I’d love to hear your experiences. Thank you

Question Sex after boric acid

Hi everyone. I’m planning to start 14 day boric acid treatment for a stubborn yeast infection. I’ve never taken it before, how long after completing the treatment should I wait before having sex with my husband?

Also I’m trying to find side effects of boric acid as I’m planning on trying to get pregnant in the fall. Are there any side effects long term?

Is this normal? 👀 I have a hole where one shouldn’t be

Hello everyone.
About 5 months ago I visited the doctor because I was concerned with my vaginal anatomy. Basically, I have a small hole located just above my inner labia, right around my clit. It’s small, but large enough to trap smegma in there that I have to clean out, which can be difficult and annoying. The doctor assured me it’s fine, and that I may just have irregular anatomy but it’s nothing to worry about, but I’m still concerned. I know I should listen to my doctor but I’m curious if anyone else has the same anatomy or has heard of this before.
Thank you!

Medications 🌡 Update: Persistent fishy smell wasn't BV, it was my IUD strings and irritation

Quick update to my post from a few weeks ago about a recurring fishy smell and watery discharge that kept coming back even after a negative swab and a round of meds.

I went back because I was spiraling and exhausted. They repeated testing (BV, yeast, trich, GC/CT) and everything was negative again. My pH was a little high but not crazy, and my provider said a slightly high pH by itself does not mean BV.

During the exam they noticed my IUD strings were longer than expected and tucked back toward my cervix. My cervix looked irritated and I had some contact bleeding. I had been using boric acid on and off, trying different so-called gentle washes, and wearing liners way more than usual because I was anxious about odor. Basically a perfect storm of irritation.

They trimmed the strings, told me to stop all suppositories for now, only use plain water externally, switch to cotton underwear, and skip liners unless I really need them. I also avoided sex for a week and used condoms after that.

About 10 days later the smell is basically gone and discharge is back to normal. I'm annoyed I waited so long to go back in, but relieved it wasn't an STI or some never-ending BV loop.

If you're in the tests-are-negative-but-something-feels-off zone, it might be worth asking about mechanical irritation like strings, friction, or product use instead of just trying more treatments. Not medical advice, just my experience.

I’m having a serious issue with my vagina right now

31F i’ve had Candida on and off in the past I was diagnosed with that last year in August but then I got rid of it in November coming July. I got a positive result again that I had Candida. But then I went to the OB/GYN when I was on my period and then the Candida came back negative a week later.

And I thought everything was fine

But something weird has been happening, and I don’t know if it is the candida or if it’s something completely unrelated to it

I shaved my vagina two days ago and when I shaved it, it felt really raw and then I just thought oh maybe I just shaved it too hard, obviously it burned, but it wasn’t to the effect of how it is right now

The next day, everything was fine. I had my husband eat my pussy, and then after that, my vagina blew up into a fucking balloon.

Other things that I did yesterday: I accidentally masturbated with baby oil on my hands. It wasn’t that much, but it wasn’t decent amount. I don’t know if that caused anything.

It started hurting and burning so bad that even when I put cold water on it, it would just hurt so bad. It hurts to sit right now. It’s only one side of my lab specifically that’s completely swell, but the whole vagina itself hurts.

So last night I kept touching it and I noticed there was like these Huge almost like bumps on my lip but then when I stopped touching it, the bump would go down. It was so fucking weird

Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t know what it could be because it doesn’t hurt deeply inside. It only hurts around the outer layer maybe a little bit when you go in, but I don’t know what to do.

I’m just trying to think of possible things too I’ve done yesterday

Symptoms 👩🏻‍⚕️ Help. Photo is in the comments

Upvotes

I'm 17F, I've never been to a gynecologist. i never had problems with my vulva or vagina, but last 4 days I've been itchy down there, sometimes REAL BAD especially at night. i even woke up 2 days because of how crazy itchiness was. it was all around these green areas. between the lips it's been kinda dry and wet with this dry feeling even though i still finish my period and have some blood. today i saw a super red shirt around half of my vulva, and it starts with some red dots, not a lot though.

I've never had SEX. never.

i changed my period products to 100% cotton, take suprastin when it's really itching and today i bought some relief cream for relief when it's itchy and dry or burning.

idk if it's gonna really help tho.

so, can anyone help? i hope that the picture is clear, but im free to answer questions anytime anyaboutwhat.

Advice Needed Recurrent yeast infections from IUD

Upvotes

Hello fellow vagina havers!
Back in January, I had the Liletta IUD inserted. Everything was fine for about a week, and then I got BV. Shortly after that, I got a yeast infection. Over the next three months I had yeast infection, after yeast infection. Always after I had sex, though it did happen one time, very randomly.
After doing a lot of research I became convinced that it was because the yeast was living on the string. So in May, I had it removed. I had no issues for the next two months. Had sex very regularly, until one night I had sex, and the next day I got my first period since being off of the IUD, and a yeast infection. Treated it with two fluconazole tablets which did not work. Was able to get an appointment with my OB, and she has prescribed me to take Terconazole, along with some steroid/anti-fungal cream for two weeks, and then twice a week for the following two weeks.
I can still feel some irritation even after a couple days of treatment. Has anyone else experienced this? Will it ever end? Is my vagina ruined forever?
I’m so beyond sick of this. I’ve had 7 yeast infections this year, and it’s ruining my life.

Advice Needed Chronic yeast after excessive antibiotic use- anyone relate?

Upvotes

Hello!

Y'all, I'm desperate. I've had 7 total yeast infections since October 2025.

Long story short, I had a botched cosmetic surgery that I had to take 4 rounds of antibiotics for. Developed c diff and other random infections, which was another 3 rounds of antibiotics. Developed a UTI two months later, requiring 2 more antibiotics. That's 9 different rounds of antibiotics in 6 months and I've been getting a yeast infection every month since.

Confirmed candida albicans, negative BV, negative STD. I'm trying to work with my doctor, and I even got a second opinion, but they just keep prescribing the 150mg fluconazole that I'm probably resistant to at this point. They just want to test me for diabetes and HIV and don't seem too bothered about the antibiotic use. I'll do whatever tests they need, but I'm feeling ignored (and itchy 😩).

Has anyone dealt with reoccurring yeast infections due to antibiotic use? I'd love to hear your story, how you're being treated, and how you're doing. I feel like I'm on an island.

Onion-like taste from vulvar area despite good hygiene and no signs of infection

Upvotes

Hi, I'm looking for some medical insight into something that has been bothering me for years.

I've had what seems to be an onion-like smell/taste coming from my vulvar area ever since I was young, well before I became sexually active. I'm not sure exactly where it's originating from (vulva, labia, surrounding skin, etc.), but I suspect it may be related to the apocrine sweat glands rather than my vagina itself.

The first time I really became aware of it was when my partner performed oral sex and then kissed me afterwards. I could clearly taste an onion-like flavour, which was really embarrassing. I've also noticed the same onion-like taste on my fingers after masturbating, even when my hands are clean beforehand, which makes me think it's consistently coming from the skin or secretions in that area rather than being a one-off occurrence.

I'm very hygienic. I wash the external area regularly (without using harsh products internally), wear clean underwear, and try to support my vaginal health with kefir and probiotics. I don't have symptoms that would make me think it's an infection—no fishy odour, unusual discharge, itching, burning, swelling, or pain. My vulvar/vaginal area doesn't generally have a bad smell or leave a lingering odour; it's specifically this onion-like taste/smell that seems to be present.

I'm wondering:

Could apocrine sweat glands in the vulvar/groin area cause an onion-like smell or taste?

Are there any medical conditions, metabolic issues, skin conditions, or bacteria that could cause this despite otherwise normal vaginal health?

Are there any tests or treatments that might help identify or resolve the cause?

I’ve heard chlorella helps odour, fenugreek helps sweat taste and smell and sage helps restrict sweat glands. Ive bought the items but just seeing how effective it’s been for other people. I’ve also tried inulin fibre, raspberry leaf tea, probiotics, kefir - none of this has helped the oniony aftertaste

Advice Needed Advice for taking Monostat 7 for the first time- not sure if I even have a yeast infection

Upvotes

I have a possible yeast infection. I’ve had recurrent burning before/during/after I urinate after getting treated for UTIs for about 4 years. This is the first time the doctors are actually testing me for yeast and BV after a negative urinalysis/urine culture….. So insane it took this long but hopefully I’ll figure it out. I have a lot of tests to do in the following weeks (pap, blood tests).

I did the swab test for yeast infection today at the doctor. They suggested I try Monostat 3 to see if it improves my symptoms in the meantime, but again are not sure the cause of my symptoms. I couldn’t find Monostat 3 at the store, but found Monostat 7. Thank goodness honestly because the horror stories on here are making me scared to even try the 7. I’m still not sure if it’s worth the risk of worsening my symptoms just to possibly not have a yeast infection.

In your guys experiences, does Monostat cause awful symptoms even when you don’t have a yeast infection? Has it actually provided you relief for burning? How long does the burning last? Sucks to have a choice between burning and more burning 😞

Advice Needed Condoms after Canesten cream?

Hello!

The title pretty sums it up, but for some background info, I, at 21, (very unfortunately) had the great pleasure of experiencing my very first yeast infection 10 days ago right after my period 🙃 😭yey!

9 days ago, I took a one-day canesten pessary (500mg, I think!), which cleared the infection very quickly, and I noticed my symptoms 100% clear up by day 6.

Since I was experiencing some itching at the beginning, my pharmacist recommended I apply a thin layer of canesten cream on the outside as well, up to a couple of days after the ich stops completely.

I took a 2 day break 4 days ago, and then had my very last application of the cream yesterday at around dawn because I thought I experienced some mild itching (false alarm, I think! I've been overthinking everything since I got the infection...)

Today I'm experiencing some vaginal dryness, but that's pretty much it when it comes to any symptoms. I'm happy to say it's pretty much gone by now.

I wanted to ask:

- Did I do anything wrong? Anything to watch out for if it happens again?

- Would the fact I applied a wee bit of Canesten cream on the exterior yesterday (around 35 hours ago) affect anything, sex and latex condom-wise? Could I use latex condoms with my boyfriend today, and if not, how much longer do you guys recommend I wait? I've showered like three times since then, as well.

follow-up: if latex condoms are a no, which brands would you recommend? 😅

-Is vaginal dryness normal? How long does it usually take to return to normal if so?

Thank you so much for the help, I'm still very overwhelmed with all of this and I want to make sure I'm prioritizing my (and my boyfriend's) health 😆🌟

edit: fixed some typos :)

fupa

hey, I went to my laser session yesterday to get my bikini area lasered off. When I got undressed the technician was so surprised, and she said something in the lines of “Is there something inside?” and she also said “I think you should get that checked out, because it’s different from the rest of your body” She also said “mine looks different”, I was like so caught off guard and replied to her saying “every girl is different, but okay I’ll go check”, anyway that made me really insecure, like I didn’t really think much of it, until she pointed it out! I used to be slightly overweight, but now I’m at a normal BMI, and still trying to lose more weight. I’m 20 years of age and 163cm/63kg. If I lose more weight, will I lose the fupa too? I’m hoping there’s a solution other than surgery. I am also considering going to the doctor to check if it’s something hormonal and if there’s a fix…I feel so ashamed.

Bleeding and clots after sex

Hi, so my husband and I had sex yesterday and after, I noticed blood when I went to the bathroom. Throughout the day and into today, it’s been moderate/almost heavy bleeding (pink to light red, not like darker period blood). I also started passing clots. My period was less than 2 weeks ago so it’s not time for that. I have PCOS but my periods are pretty regular and I’m not on any birth control. I’m not in any pain, just the bleeding. In our 15 years together, this has never happened to me before. I will say, it hurt at the beginning of sex because I was not lubed up enough and I do feel like he hit my cervix. But does that cause this much blood and clots? Any advice?

Advice Needed Ureaplasma parvum - asymptomatic

I recently got an STD test done (swab). The only finding was ureaplasma parvum. Over the past few days, I have been reading as much as I can about this, watching videos on YouTube about it, etc. I am feeling really conflicted and concerned by all the info I'm taking in. I am also getting a blood draw done next week to screen for HIV, syphilis and Hep C. (As an aside, up until now I've never taken any STD tests or been screened beyond the routine pap smears at annual gynecologist visits, but I just want peace of mind moving forward that I'm clean.)

I plan to talk to the doctor about it a little more next week, because although I was prescribed an antibiotic (doxyhexal), since I'm asymptomatic, I have heard that getting rid of it with antibiotics could actually do more harm than good and disrupt my microbiome and possibly lead to antibiotic resistance. So, the pills are just sitting here - I just took one before reading all this stuff online about the antibiotic resistance that scared me off taking the rest.

For reference, I'm a US-born female, 34 years old, residing in the EU. I'm single and not sexually active (and haven't been in quite some time), and my number of lifetime sexual partners is very low compared to the average... I have never tried to get pregnant, but want to get pregnant in the future. I heard that ureaplasma can cause pregnancy complications.

Basically, I'm really on the fence about what to do. Again, I plan to touch base with the doctor who performed the swab next week and ask if the antibiotics are really necessary, given the circumstances and that I want kids one day. But I also thought I'd ask this community... so...

Should I get rid of it with the antibiotics and avoid any issues down the road that might crop up, or should I just carry on with life and not fret about this or give it a second thought? What about disclosing it to a future partner, spouse - necessary?

Menstruation 🔴 Cramping pain when inserting/removing tampons

It started for me in 2024. I got an IUD in early 2023 and I thought maybe when I remove tampons they tug on the strings a bit. The pain feels very similar to getting an IUD put in. I never went to a doc about it because I just suck at making appointments unless I feel some sort of urgency. I'm currently on my period and last weekend I was removing a tampon and got that sharp cramping pain as I do, but that time it was really bad. For the next few hours I was just cramping non stop, it felt like one super long cramp rather than cramps coming in waves. I got paranoid about it and the next time I went to take it out I checked my IUD strings and they felt super long so I was thinking that I must've dislodged my IUD. I had only checked the strings a couple times and I knew they were much higher than that. After that I just used pads for the rest of the weekend. I went to the clinic I got the IUD at Monday and they checked it for me, she did say it looked like my IUD had moved and she took it out. Tuesday I started using tampons again. I prefer to use them over pads because I have vulvodynia and I cannot have anything touching my skin without it getting irritated so I just don't do well with pads. This morning I took out my tampon and got that same sharp cramping pain and it hasn't gone away so now i'm thinking the issue wasn't my IUD after all. It for sure moved but clearly it wasn't the reason for my pain these past 2 years. Has anyone else expierenced this? I'm going back to that clinic in 2 weeks to get a pap smear because I'm overdue so I'll bring it up with them, but now I'm just a bit worried

post yeast stress

helloo
about 5 weeks ago i had a yeast infection on the skin surrounding pubes (yes that’s possible i didn’t know either). it came from shaving, then going to a festival with tight clothing for 4 days without showering. after way too long (three weeks) of itching i finally went to the gynecologist. she said it was yeast and gave me a cream which helped.
i’m off it now for 10 days but the skin, especially in the anal region is pretty dry and has some small tears. this made some itching and burning come back.
i went to the gynecologist today again and was described cortisone creme to apply for 2 weeks.
i’m a bit sceptical because the antifungal cream i used for 7 days already hat cortisone in it.

has anyone had any experience with the post-yeast infection dryness and was perhaps also prescribed cortisone?

Advice Needed using yeast infection cream while possibly having BV?

hello, on saturday i was shaving around my bikini line using an exfoliating sea salt scrub and aloe vera shaving gel and i think some got into my v. the next day i had itching, creamy yellow discharge and swollen lips. last night i bought thrush cream (aquasol femina candidiasis) for 5 days and used the first dose. an hour ago, my boyfriend sniffed me down there and said it smells fishy and totally not what it usually smells like, leading me to suspect i might also have BV as i found out co-infections of the two are very common. i’ve organised to be taken to a gynaecologist tomorrow. in the mean time, should i continue using the thrush cream while suspecting BV?
