I’m purchasing a 56in roll cab but I’m stuck between these two colors. I’ve been a big purple fan in general but was little disappointed when I saw it in person as I was expecting the same shade from the purple jack. Not sure if it was because of the lighting and dirtiness but the blue really popped out to me and looked less prone to fingerprints and stains. What do you guys think?

You guys got any storage tips? Also, what are we putting in the mini toolbox? It's so small 😅

Took a cheap knife and made it fancy. I used some Mesquite burl wood i has laying around.

It looks like they updated it as far back as December to fix an issue with broken c-clips. Some seem to prefer the old version. Strangely, I bought one in April and another today, and they're still the original design. Anyone know what's going on with the supply chain?

Also, I don't really have a preference. Can someone enlighten me as to why folks seem to prefer the old one?

EDIT: I'm seeing posts about the update as far back as September of last year. Surely they must have burned the old stock by now. Did they go back to the original design for some reason? Or was today's sale intended to clear out some inexplicably remaining old stock?

EDIT 2: The one I bought yesterday is stamped February 2026. The oldest post I found regarding the redesign was 10 months old, so we can assume they started manufacturing them around July 2025. Unless they switched manufacturing long before the original contract was filled (which seems unlikely), it looks like there are simply two factories producing them concurrently.

Yesterday someone mentioned bringing in their own ‘measurer’ to IKEA. It reminded me of my own HF ‘Tool Bench’ literal tape measurer that I keep in my pickup to use at lumberyards. Having my HF tape measurer ensures that the lumberyard staff never will accuse me of shoplifting a tape measure to check lumber.
Not sure how long I’ve had it but it’s certainly my most used tool from HF. Coolio!

Treated myself today

However noticed that Harbor Freight made the Mini Toolbox cheaper.
- There’s no edge on opening
- The Lid doesn’t go all the back anymore
- The drawers don’t extend all the way which is the worst part

I keep getting them, my dumb luck is yours for the taking.

Hey y’all so I work as a newbie heavy duty diesel tech and am in need of a nice air impact thats at least enough to get lug nuts off. Ive seen that this one is on sale right mow and am considering it. Obviously it says 1500ft-lbs of torque but we all know that its never actually what it says on paper so I was hoping someone has had some experience with them in the past and can tell me if to go for it or not? I've wanted this for so long due to this community and finally got it. It's usually either not in stock or not on sale. Couldn't pass up this deal! There were only 2 left right after the doors opened so I finally got lucky! 😁

I'm in texas and I purchased a harbor freight trailer a couple of weeks ago. Today I went to the county tax office and showed them my certificate of origin that came with the trailer along with my receipt and my filled-up application for a title. They told me that they could only get me a plate as a non-titled vehicle because the first title needs to come from harbor freight. They literally said "they are a dealer, they should have given you a title". They also said harbor freight should not have collected tax from me (they collected sales tax in the purchase) because they are the ones supposed to collect tax when I transfer the title in my name.

Has anyone had recent experience with this and how to handle it? I suspect I'm not going to get much attention from HF on fixing this for me.

If anyone was wondering if the Smaller Badlands Off Road Jack would fit in the Bauer 24" tool bag, It does quite nicely.

Due to limited space, I have no option but to store my outstanding orange Daytona jack vertically. To prevent the paint from getting damaged when propping it upright, I installed 3-inch caster wheels so I can easily stand it upright and move it around without the metal contacting the floor.

Thoughts?
