Any high horn grip recommendations for the airweight? Ideally rubber or smooth for concealment comfort. I’ve never shot a gun that made me bleed within 20 rounds.

Best option for home defense?
Which one of my 3 rifles with be best for a home defense scenario? I’m equally experienced with all 3. Is the .308 overkill?

What's something you wish you knew in the beginning?
I just started getting into shooting the end of last year and got my first piece (the Glock 19V pictured) a few months ago. Currently, hoping to go get my CCW before the end of this year as well.
I'm at a weird point where I would like to take classes but I am doing pretty well so far with just the help of others. My biggest known struggle so far is breathing when shooting and being able to take my gun apart easily but I am sure the second will come with time.
Is there anything anybody wishes they knew in the beginning or wish they would have corrected early on?
I want to be a responsible gun owner and user.

MPA Defender Faux Suppressor
Does the MPA defender no longer come with a faux suppressor? I know it’s just for looks but on the listing from PSA and some other places it looks like it no longer comes with one.

Why aren't there any 17HMR or 22 hornet revolvers?
Ive noticed a strong lack of revolvers in 17HMR or 22 hornet. I was looking into snub nose revolvers for CC and I thought one of those calibers would be nice. It makes sense to me. Smaller round = smaller cylinder/more rounds in in a standard cylinder just like all the 22LR revolvers. But when I tried to look them up, I couldn't find much of anything out of torus for the 17HMR and a super redhawk for the 22hornet. Let alone any snub noses. Why?

Magnum Pistols - 1911 All Day!
The right is my LAR Grizzly Mark I, chambered in 45 win mag. The Left, Deagle Mark VII. Both these guns launched in 1983, and the Grizzly ceased production in the late 90s. I really wish circumstances would’ve allowed it to pick up speed like the Deagle! As a 1911 platform, I feel it’s way more reliable than other magnum semi-autos.
I know they’re both a bit impractical, so reliability isn’t too big an issue, but what’s the consensus on Desert Eagles? I don’t have substantial experience with them, but a friend of mine says it jams frequently and can’t figure it out.

P30 v3 trigger question
Hey yall, Ive had my P30v3 DA/SA for about 2 years now and I'm completely smitten with it! The trigger isn't nearly as bad as some people said it to be and im digging it. But I was wondering about some of options out there.
Before you all already say it, yes I have the gray guns short reset in it and its great. I was just curious about what people think of either the Langdon trigger job or Gray Guns trigger job. Im looking for some testimonials if anyone has either of them in their p30.
More specifically the smoothness if the double action pull and if it makes the single action break more crisp (kind of like how the PDP trigger is very crisp break.) Thanks!

Official Politics Thread 7/22/2026
This is the thread dedicated to discussing gun politics.
What do I need to attach a suppressor to my CZ P10C OR?
Hey guys. I recently just bought a CZ P10C Optic Ready and want to know what do I need to buy to attach the suppressor on it? I’ve read a couple of forums saying I need a hub adapter of some sort? I want to know what specifically is needed for the future.

Went to a Japanese art exhibit, apparently high ranking officers carried these bad boys around as a sign of strength
NC art museum
Buddy found this brand new LAW Tactical Gen-S in an abandoned storage unit… then gave it to me.
My last post got removed because I apparently can’t read the rules. Huge thanks to everyone who chimed in before it disappeared. I wanted to keep the discussion going, so here’s Round 2. Description and question in the comments.

Anyone here have firsthand experience with Mustang Armament?
Looking into Mustang Armament and am curious what the general consensus is from people who have actually owned or shot one.
I’m interested in things like:
Reliability
Accuracy
Build quality
Long-term durability
Customer service
Whether you think it’s worth the price
I’m looking for firsthand experiences more than “my buddy said…” or brand loyalty.
If you’ve owned one for a while, put a decent round count through it, or compared it directly to something like a KAC, LMT, Geissele, BCM, etc., I’d love to hear your thoughts.
What did you like? What didn’t you like? Would you buy another one?

Cannot use Staccato? Not sure where else to post and ask this…
Am I interpreting the note at the bottom correctly? so I would not be able to use a staccato, Romulus, Kimber 2011, etc., as a duty firearm, correct?
That’s a little bit of a bummer if true.

Rough Rider Custom PCB Trace Grip Design
I (a mechanical engineer) made this retirement gift for my dad (a former electrical engineer) using one of his PCB designs. It kind of felt like I was designing a call of duty camo.
