Looking into Mustang Armament and am curious what the general consensus is from people who have actually owned or shot one.

I’m interested in things like:
Reliability
Accuracy
Build quality
Long-term durability
Customer service
Whether you think it’s worth the price

I’m looking for firsthand experiences more than “my buddy said…” or brand loyalty.

If you’ve owned one for a while, put a decent round count through it, or compared it directly to something like a KAC, LMT, Geissele, BCM, etc., I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I’ve always had a soft spot for revolvers. Thought I’d share.

Which one of my 3 rifles with be best for a home defense scenario? I’m equally experienced with all 3. Is the .308 overkill?

Ive noticed a strong lack of revolvers in 17HMR or 22 hornet. I was looking into snub nose revolvers for CC and I thought one of those calibers would be nice. It makes sense to me. Smaller round = smaller cylinder/more rounds in in a standard cylinder just like all the 22LR revolvers. But when I tried to look them up, I couldn't find much of anything out of torus for the 17HMR and a super redhawk for the 22hornet. Let alone any snub noses. Why?

They look like some sort of musket, but what interests me is the butt of the rifle (which seems to be shaped specifically for mounted infantry) and the guns' length.

I recently bought Roni CAA 2G glock conversion kit from my friend pretty cheap. Ive been trying to figure out which glock models does it match with. Im thinking of buying glock 17 gen 5. Any ideas which types match with this Roni? For example does it matter is it MOS type glock and does the 5 gen fit in this specific Roni? I have tried googling, but cant get a clear answer. In my understanding glock 17 gen 3 - 5 are pretty similar sizewize. I appreciate if someone has knowledge of this subject.

The right is my LAR Grizzly Mark I, chambered in 45 win mag. The Left, Deagle Mark VII. Both these guns launched in 1983, and the Grizzly ceased production in the late 90s. I really wish circumstances would’ve allowed it to pick up speed like the Deagle! As a 1911 platform, I feel it’s way more reliable than other magnum semi-autos.

I know they’re both a bit impractical, so reliability isn’t too big an issue, but what’s the consensus on Desert Eagles? I don’t have substantial experience with them, but a friend of mine says it jams frequently and can’t figure it out.

Bought a brand new Canik Mete MC9L and have a minor issue where on the take up the trigger return spring pings mid pull. I can’t see any awkward points of contact or if the hooks are riding against the coils of the spring too much but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey I need some money fast and decided to sell my ar-10 and Henry 22 evil roy but I'm not sure the best store to sell it to. I was thinking of a bass pro shop.

I (a mechanical engineer) made this retirement gift for my dad (a former electrical engineer) using one of his PCB designs. It kind of felt like I was designing a call of duty camo.

TLDR: what's the best value oriented full size gun to get better at competition style shooting?

Been shooting casually for a few years now, did my first uspsa event a few days ago while visiting a friend and now looking to buy a dedicated pistol instead of competing with my carry options. Don't have any ranges particularly close to me that rent, so really want to narrow down a list so I can stick to those options when I do decide to go rent a couple. I'm sure a lot of these are subjective, but if anyone has experice with multiple of these, I'd love to hear your opinion. Also anything else I should know before going ahead with buying any of these.

Looking for a full size frame and optic ready, something with decent holster support and available magazines, and what's generally a good gun to grow with. Don't want glock/glock clones (don't like the grip angle & I think they're ugly).

Budget wise I'd like to be able to get the gun, optic, holster, and have a total of 3+ mags for around that $1000 USD point. I'm also not opposed to buying used, but I live in a blue state so there's not that much for gun shops/used selection and most of what I do see is carry guns (shields, 365s, 43x, etc).

Current goal: an AR platform chambered in .300 Blackout with a suppressor and optic. It's gonna be used for deer hunting at relatively short (for a rifle) ranges. I don't need it, just want a new toy as I've only purchased one gun in the last seven years. I know the optic I want, just need some tips on the platform and suppressor. Don't need a high end platform, as it's not going to see heavy use, but don't want Jennings level quality, either. A mid-level will do fine.

A bit of background: I'm a retired LEO, former firearms instructor, former armorer (Colt M16/AR15, Glock, Remington 870 - and before they split it into multiple classes, the 1100 series and 700 series). Ive been gone nearly seven years and stopped worrying about the latest and greatest even before then. My favorite Glock is a Gen3 and I won't hear of anything different, lol.

I do reload from time to time, and have a decent background with guns...but I'm out of the loop. I looked at Bud's and saw a bunch of manufacturers I'd never heard of, so any tips on that would be great. Never did NFA stuff, did have an 01 FFL way back when, but never worked with the fun stuff. Any tips on that end would be great, as well.
