Gameranx just uploaded a video on why there might not be a trailer 3 and skip straight to gameplay
To summarise:
Seen a lot in the cinematic trailers already
Preorders already out
Might dampen the hype as we have seen so much already and people want gameplay
What do you think?

I would pick trailer 3 for now. I still want to see a little more of the story and other characters.

Since Rockstar hasn't dropped trailer 3 just yet, I decided to make an edit from the footage we already have, and mix it with some of my favorite gangster and action-flicks, most of them settled in Florida and Miami. Other ones capture the Jason & Lucia chemistry or classic gangster style, like "True Romance" or "Carlito's Way". I added some extra nostalgia for those who like myself grew up with the original Vice City games.
Most of the scenes I chose, were specific moments in film that reminded me instantly about the trailers and how these might have been Rockstar's direct inspiration for Vice City and GTA VI in general.
Films that are used in this trailer:
Trailer song: "Urgent" by Foreigner (1981)
Had fun making this video and hope that this film selection might give you some pleasant movie nights until the game releases!
See y'all in Vice City, pals!

Since there's talk about potentially having limited weapon wheels like we did in RDR2, do you think weapons should be visible on your character's body?
It would be cool to see your character carrying a handgun in a modern holster, maybe even with the option to customise or swap holsters to match clothing. It could also be interesting to choose between open carry and concealed carry depending on the environment (people who carry irl will probably be familiar with the concept). I think that would really add to the realism.
For example, if you commit a crime, you could conceal your weapon, forcing police to actually search you. Just a thought, but it could be a cool addition if we're getting the whole guns-in-the-trunk mechanic.

Is it just me or does Jason look like Ryan Gosling over here

Rockstar is obsessed with UFO's so there's no way there wouldn't be one.

One small feature I'd absolutely love to see return in GTA VI is unique Mission Passed themes, similar to GTA IV.
In GTA IV, different missions had different completion themes, which made each one feel more memorable and gave them their own identity. It was a subtle detail, but it added a lot to the overall atmosphere and made finishing a mission feel genuinely rewarding.
By comparison, GTA V only had one generic Mission Passed theme. While it's kinda iconic in its own way, hearing the exact same tune after almost every mission made it feel repetitive and, honestly, a bit bland compared to the ones in older games.
I'd love to see Rockstar bring back multiple Mission Passed themes in GTA VI. It's a small detail, but it's exactly the kind of thing that helps make each mission feel unique and memorable.

Since Los Santos Customs was originally a take on West Coast Customs and Pimp My Ride, and they’re no longer culturally relevant, will we see GTA 6 bring back the iconic Pay N Spray from the series other titles?

Since the first time I played the rub out mission in GTA Vice City and we take the M4 (or M16?) from the car's trunk, I always wished for a mechanic like that for a GTA game.
Only took it 24 years.
Jude Bellingham wasn't even born yet.

Like everyone I’ve watched the trailers, screenshots and leaks countless times. But clearly, there’s still lots we don’t even yet know about. This game already looks so fucking cool from everything we have seen, but imagine day 1 entering Leonida and discovering everything they’ve kept hidden. This could be small things from gameplay mechanics, to huge things like an additional city(s), distant islands, enterable interiors etc.
Imagine the sensation of discovering more and more as we play, being blown away by every little thing we couldn’t have even imagined would be in the game. I can’t wait, it’s going to be so much fun

Don’t count on any previous marketing strategies. Gameplay trailer etc will come very late. Real life marketing, the week of release. Short term hype and sales is the marketing world of 2026. You see a certain thing go viral online, that week it sells a lot. Not 4-5 months later.

Random GTA 6 question.
If you had the choice to learn absolutely everything about GTA 6 right now, but still had to wait until November to actually play it, would you? Or would you rather get no more info and experience everything for the first time on release day?
With how people are thirsty for a new trailer, I feel like many would pick the first option. But I'm curious...could you handle the wait after knowing everything, or would you rather keep the mystery alive until launch? Remember, it's everything(gameplay, story, map, features, mechanics) or nothing. Which are you choosing?

Do we have any information on which option is more likely? I really hope its a universal release. If not, I’m staying far away from social media the moment New Zealand gets access.

Interesting to see how they’ve evolved the way they handle parallax interiors for windows.
Parallax interiors basically creates the illusion that there’s a room behind a window when there isn’t.

Its inevitable for songs to be removed as time passes in GTA games due to expired licenses, with a disc copy you're always able to revert back to the 1.0 version of that game (unless it requires internet to complete install like recent ubisoft physical copies, but all Rockstar physical copies up to this years RDR1 PS5 port contains the full games on their discs.)

Just a question regarding the ESRB, I remember Elden Ring was rated like almost a year before it came out.
Does the ESRB offer a wider time window for companies to send the footage? If so, when can we expect to see the rating?
