One of my neighbors has a small rose garden and this one was my favorite 💛 I think this is a heirloom rose.

I absolutely love how bright they look in the sunlight. The soft, layered petals and the little orange-green centers are so beautiful. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Question Flower preservation

Hello, I’m getting married next year ☺️ and I’m wanting to use the dry flowers I’ve preserved over the years that my fiancé has gotten me issue is I have a ton of flower petals I’ve saved from the rest of the saved flowers but the venue we’re going to get doesn’t allow flower petals (it’s a nature park) so I was wanting to see if anyone has any suggestions on how to make the full flowers I have safer to use as the “flower petals” without losing it’s integrity.

(TLDR how do I get my dried flowers to save shape when dropped down the isle) edit: spelling errors

Question Dahlia has had buds for almost 3 weeks but still no blooms. Normal?

Post image

I bought this dahlia about three weeks ago, and it already had quite a few buds on it when I brought it home. Since then, it’s continued to grow and has produced even more buds, but not a single one has opened yet.
The plant otherwise looks healthy. The foliage is dark green, there are no obvious signs of pests or disease, and it gets about 6 to 8 hours of direct sun each day on my terrace. I’ve been keeping the soil consistently moist without letting it stay soggy.
Is it normal for dahlias to hold onto buds this long before they bloom? Is there anything I should be doing differently, or is this just a matter of being patient?
I’ve attached a photo of what it looks like today. Any advice would be appreciated!

I’m looking to replace my rose of Sharon. They’re very mature and act as a fence for my deck. I’m looking for a replacement that’s ideally native to Pennsylvania, fragrant and of course beautiful. Preference for white, light pink, and apricot flowers. 12-20ft tall. Thanks!
