I just got a new Firestick 4K Plus and I'm wondering if I should reset my old one to factory defaults (which will erase all personal info and apps) and then install the new one? Otherwise I could install & set up the new one and then install the old one on a different TV to reset it? I want to transfer my current apps to the new one and not have to download them again, and I also want to get my data off of the old one before I get rid of it. Thanks.

I have scrubs and crew. Both are firing blanks with 90% of films currently. I understand they’re old now. Any advice (please bare in mind I’m not overly technically minded, can do the basics)

Anyone in NZ had any luck getting the sbs ondemand app to work. 2 years ago was working fine.

Whenever I watch any watch a stream from this app, there's always small blue square in the upper left of my screen. I have tried different stream sources and it seems to be present in every stream. Couldn't find anything on this, so I was wondering if anyone else experiences this?

My firestick isn't that old, yet all of a sudden all the apps I use are locking up, randomly closing, buffering constantly, etc.
And within a week of this starting, I see an ad to upgrade to the new firestick.

Anyone else notice this, or am I just being a conspiracy theorist?

All my apps now show in a line when it comes on the screen rather than there being a few and the others hidden

I was thinking of getting the firetv stick 4k plus, but I have seen alot of negative reviews for it. Regarding how the new updates just pushes more ads, adds more annoying stuff and is removing necessary features from it.

I was wondering if there are any good alternatives to it available in India?

Onn box is good but it isn't available in India.
Please let me know if there are any better alternatives around the price of the fire tv stick

Unlike a lot of people where there's just an error when they try to connect the two, mine just doesn't appear when I press WIN+K, and idk why. I've checked if my pc is able to use wireless display, and it can. I've even installed the wireless display optional feature, and it's still not appearing. I don't know if its because I'm using windows 10, and I'm not willing to upgrade to fix it. Nor do I want to install an app. But if have to, I'll install one. So if you could, please tell me a way to fix it.

I had these 2 OTG cables fir over a year and now both can’t see the Firestick. When I plug them in for extra storage it won’t load the Firestick app. Is it possible both of them could go south at the same time or has Amazon sent an update to disable these OTG cables?

I'm trying to watch the new episode of HOD and nothing is loading

I replaced my Firestick yesterday, now my sound is all jacked up when using Hulu (and only Hulu). I messed around with it for a while and finally got it to provide normal audio during shows by turning subtitles off and selecting "English (audio description)" under Audio Language in the settings page. However the audio turns to crazy static when an ad comes on. Any ideas? TIA.

We got a brand new firestick a month or so ago and it worked great but now Disney+ won't play movies. It plays TV shows fine and the movies used to play until July 14th and now we have to hard reset and that fixes it for a few days then acts up again. We shouldn't have to uninstall and reinstall every time we want to watch a movie.

Does anyone know a more permanent fix? We have cleared the data and cache and we have changed the sound to PCM

Hey everyone. Been seeing a lot of users looking for an app to fix SportsFire/streamfire and came across one called Voltra TV . Not sure if it’s allowed to drop the downloader code here but it’s in the Troypoint website. It’s been pretty decent so far. Hope this helps

So i bought a new to me amazon tv same day i was moving and long story short lost the remote that it came with it worked and everything i never set the tv up but i have a new remote and i cannot get it to connect to the tv
