Team ECW (Tommy Dreamer, Terry Funk, & Shane Douglas) vs The NWO (Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall) - 6-Man tag Elimination Match

Orton cost Cody a title match and now they’re head to head.

Oba challenged Reigns and he accepted mainly cause Oba attacked his ego.

Balor win KOTR and is challenging Punk, the same guy who began his babyface run.

Mostly everything else is the same except a few others but I’ll post that later.

2002

When Vince McMahon brings in the NWO at No Way Out 2002 as part of his feud with Ric Flair, Flair responds by bringing in Sting. This leads to a high profile tag team match pitting Sting and Ric Flair against Scott Hall and Kevin Nash at WrestleMania X8, this format helping Hall work through his physical limitations at the time.

Following Mania, Sting and Flair continue teaming briefly and have a run as Tag Team champions, and we get a really fun match between Sting & Flair against Hogan and Edge, with the latter team going over.

Sting then takes part in the King of the Ring tournament where he makes it to the finals but puts over Brock Lesnar. Sting then has a dream feud with the Undertaker, though it is Biker Taker so it isn't as good as it would've been otherwise, but the matches themselves are still great. Their feud culminates in Sting defeating the Undertaker at Summerslam 2002 in a classic.

Sting then moves over to Raw, and becomes the inaugural WWE World Heavyweight champion by defeating Rob Van Dam in the finals of a tournament on Raw. In his first title defense against Triple H at Unforgiven however, the Game wins the title from Sting when Ric Flair betrays Sting and forms Evolution. This leads to Sting and Flair having a one on one feud where Flair goes over thanks to the numbers game.

Sting competes in the first ever Elimination Chamber match at Survivor Series 2002 (replacing Booker T), where he notably gets eliminated by eventual winner, Shawn Michaels, and the stare down those two have elicits a huge pop from the fans.

2003

Sting forms an alliance with the newly debuted Scott Steiner against Evolution which leads to Sting and Steiner facing Triple H and Ric Flair in a tag team match at the 2003 Royal Rumble, a match which perfectly hides Steiner's in-ring limitations and keeps him hot for the eventual one on one match against Triple H at No Way Out.

Sting also competes in the actual Royal Rumble match where he's eliminated by Shawn Michaels. HBK and Sting go on to feud and have a dream match at WrestleMania XIX. After a 20 minute classic, HBK goes over. Sting subsequently goes on hiatus until Summerslam, taking part in the Elimination Chamber match (replacing Kevin Nash) and letting Randy Orton pin and eliminate him which makes Randy look like a big deal. Sting feuds with Randy Orton after this and puts Orton over in a big way.

In this timeline, Kane and the Undertaker begin feuding in late 2003, rather than Taker feuding with Vince or Kane feuding with Shane. At Survivor Series 2003, Sting shocks the world by turning heel and helping Kane bury the Undertaker. Sting and Kane form a partnership by late 2003 which continues into 2004.

2004

Sting and Kane have a run as WWE Tag Team Champions on SmackDown, but find themselves haunted by the Undertaker's usual magic. Since we already got Undertaker and Kane feuding, this is all done to build up Sting vs Taker for Mania XX, but this time, the way it should've been, Crow Sting vs DEADMAN Undertaker, the match everyone wanted. Kane is found attacked on the Road to WrestleMania and of course, we get Sting vs Taker and it's everything the fans could ever want it to be. Ultimately, Undertaker goes over and the Streak remains intact.

Sting remains a top heel on SmackDown following WrestleMania XX, filling the void that Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar have left behind. Instead of JBL, it's Sting who wins the WWE Championship from Eddie Guerrero and Sting gets his win back against Undertaker at Summerslam 2004. Sting holds the WWE title for the rest of the year.

2005

Sting remains a heel in the early months of '05, where he's tasked with putting over a now nuclear John Cena. At WrestleMania 21, Sting and John Cena have a fantastic WWE Championship match, which makes Cena look huge. The Icon of course, puts over the rising star.

Following WM, Sting finally reverts to being a babyface again through a feud with Muhammad Hassan, culminating in Sting beating Hassan at the Great American Bash 2005. Sting gets a World Heavyweight title match against Batista at Summerslam but the Stinger puts the Animal over.

Sting begins a new feud with Eddie Guerrero, with the roles reversed, however the feud ends prematurely as a result of Eddie's tragic death. Sting gets another world title match against Batista in late 2005 but comes up short yet again.

2006

In this timeline, Rey Mysterio still wins the 2006 Royal Rumble match, but Kurt Angle doesn't become World Heavyweight champion, Sting does. Kurt is instead put in a WM 22 program against the Undertaker while Sting puts over Mysterio in a battle of cool mask vs cool facepaint.

Sting has a post WM feud with JBL, which ends with Sting beating JBL in a retirement match, forcing JBL into being a commentator going forward. After this, Sting is moved to WWE ECW in the Fall as WWE's plans to center the brand around Kurt Angle go up in smoke as a result of his departure from the company. ECW fans reject Sting as WCW were always the bigger enemy of ECW. Sting goes on to win the WWE ECW Championship from the Big Show at Cyber Sunday 2006. Sting holds the belt for much of the rest of '06, helping to legitimize the brand, before putting over Bobby Lashley in the Extreme Elimination Chamber match at December to Dismember, replacing Hardcore Holly or Test.

2007

Sting has a brief feud with Lashley over the ECW title, putting him over at New Year's Revolution 2007. Sting then takes part in the 2007 Royal Rumble match, making it to the final three with Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker, but a spiteful Rated RKO return to eliminate Sting. In this timeline, the Hardy Boyz reunion ends in early 2007, and Jeff Hardy is free to do something new, as Matt Hardy is on SmackDown feuding with MVP.

As for Jeff, he idolizes Sting and this leads to them forming a tag team and defeating Rated RKO for the World Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 23, possibly in a TLC match if WWE doesn't mind having two ladder matches on the same night.

Sting and Jeff Hardy have a nice little run with the gold, defending against Cade & Murdoch, the Highlanders, Rated RKO and Paul London & Brian Kendrick. They end up dropping the belts over the summer and Jeff asks for the opportunity to have a one on one match against his idol at Summerslam 2007 which Sting agrees to. They have a great match and Sting puts over Jeff in a great feel good moment which the fans need following the Benoit incident.

2008

Due to the aforementioned Benoit incident, Sting requests and is granted a leave of absence from WWE. Sting doesn't return until the 2008 Royal Rumble match where he makes it to the final four alongside Batista, Triple H and fellow returnee: John Cena. Sting is eliminated and also fails to win the Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out.

Following this, Sting is placed into a program with Ric Flair heading into WrestleMania XXIV, where Sting really doesn't want to be the one to retire Ric, and honestly, this feud might be better than the HBK/Flair feud since Sting and Flair have so much more history. In the end, Sting of course, has to put Ric out of his misery and retires the Nature Boy on the grandest stage of them all.

Shawn is upset with Sting about this and they have a feud following WM. Sting wins the HBK feud thanks to Chris Jericho. Sting then begins a new feud with Triple H over the WWE Championship which Sting wins at Summerslam 2008.

Sting spends the rest of the year in a feud with his former partner: Jeff Hardy over the WWE title. Sting always manages to retain, until he drops the belt to Edge at Survivor Series and then Jeff wins a fatal-4-way against Edge, Sting, and Triple H at Armageddon.

2009

The Jeff Hardy mystery attacker storyline still happens and everyone online is guessing it'll be Christian, so like IRL, WWE change plans but here, they make STING the attacker rather than Matt Hardy. Sting costs Jeff the WWE title at the '09 Rumble, and this leads to Sting and Jeff Hardy having a high profile match at WrestleMania 25, with Sting putting Jeff over. Sting goes baby again by shaking Jeff's hand after the match.

Sting goes on hiatus again, not returning until the SmackDown after CM Punk expels Jeff Hardy from WWE. Sting says despite all their issues, he respected Jeff Hardy. Punk and Sting feud over the World Heavyweight title with Punk barely scraping by at Breaking Point before Sting defeats CM Punk inside Hell in a Cell to become World Heavyweight Champion yet again. The Undertaker returns after the match, and we see a face-off between Sting and Undertaker, ready to go to war yet again.

At Bragging Rights, Undertaker defeats Sting, Punk and Batista in a fatal-4-way match to become champion. Undertaker then retains against Sting, Batista and Rey Mysterio at Survivor Series before defeating Sting one on one at TLC in a chair or tables match.

2010

Sting takes part in the Royal Rumble match where he notably eliminates CM Punk, ending his early run of dominance. Sting also eliminates Punk inside the Elimination Chamber. Sting doesn't win either of those matches. Punk is now the head of the Straight Edge Society, a group that makes Sting's life hell. So we get Sting vs Punk at WrestleMania XXVI and if Sting loses, he must join the SES. Sting would want to put Punk over IRL, so Sting loses and is forced to join the SES. From here, we see the Icon being brainwashed and indoctrinated, as Sting's head is shaved, and he wears new makeup, and has a whole new persona, something desperately needed after many years of doing the same old stuff.

Brainwashed Sting helps Punk become World Heavyweight Champion at Fatal-4-Way 2010, but Sting is able to break free of Punk and beats him for the title at Summerslam 2010. Afterwards however, Kane cashes in his Money in the Bank contract on Sting to become the new champion, and Kane accuses Sting of attacking the Undertaker which Sting denies. Kane retains against Sting at Night of Champions before being confronted by a returning Undertaker to start off that feud.

Sting is traded with Edge and brought to Raw. Sting starts an alliance with John Cena against the Nexus, who he feels is very reminiscent of the nWo. Sting and Cena get a brief run as Tag Team champions by beating the Nexus at Bragging Rights but drop the titles back to Nexus the next night on Raw. At Survivor Series 2010 we get a massive fatal-4-way for the WWE title between Randy Orton, Wade Barrett, Sting and John Cena with Orton retaining only to lose the title to a cashing in Miz.

2011

Sting goes on a brief hiatus but returns in the 2011 Royal Rumble match where he eliminates Randy Orton. Orton is clearly pissed off, having been screwed over by the Miz, Alex Riley and Michael Cole repeatedly, and reenters the Rumble to eliminate Sting, turning heel in the process. Sting gets a WWE title opportunity against the Miz at Elimination Chamber but loses thanks to interference from Randy. Sting and Orton have a high profile match at WrestleMania XXVII where Orton goes over.

Sting, Orton and Christian feud over the World Heavyweight title over the Spring and Summer of 2011, finally culminating with Sting beating Orton for the title at Summerslam. Sting then puts over Mark Henry at Night of Champions and Sting is written off via an attack, being inducted into Henry's Hall of Pain. Sting returns for revenge against Henry in late 2011, but is attacked by a newly remasked Kane.

2012

Sting and Kane ride this feud through to WM, where Sting defeats the Big Red Monster. Sting and Kane then have a falls count anywhere match at Extreme Rules which Sting also wins. Sting then feuds with Sheamus over the World Heavyweight title, and puts the Celtic Warrior over in great matches. Sting also feuds with non-champion heels such as Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler.

Sting gets involved in the WWE title picture in the Fall, being the one to replace John Cena against Punk at Hell in a Cell instead of Ryback. Brad Maddox screws Sting over inside HIAC of course, and the Shield screw over both Sting and John Cena at Survivor Series. Sting and Team Hell No put over the Shield in a great Tables, Ladders and Chairs match at TLC 2012.

2013

In early 2013, WWE builds up a dream feud between Sting and Brock Lesnar (they fought in 2002 but it was the KOTR so there wasn't a real feud involved). In this timeline, after Brock beats Triple H at Summerslam 2012, their feud is over. At WrestleMania 29, Sting loses to Brock Lesnar in a great match.

Sting goes on hiatus after Mania, but returns in time for Money in the Bank, however he doesn't make it to the All-Star MITB ladder match, because on the go-home Raw, Sting is taken out by the debuting Wyatt Family. Sting and Bray have a match at Summerslam 2013 where Bray goes over. In the months that follow, Sting is indoctrinated into the Wyatt Family and later on, so is Daniel Bryan. Bryan tried to help Sting snap out of it, only to get lured in himself. Sting and Daniel Bryan had a match at TLC 2013 where Bryan would have to join the family if he lost, and after a classic, Sting wins, and Bryan is forced to join the Wyatt Family.

2014

Sting and Bryan have a brief run as Tag Team Champions but are both able to snap out of things when they drop the titles in early 2014 to Cody Rhodes and Goldust or the Usos. This leads to a tag team match pitting Sting and Bryan against Bray and Harper at the Royal Rumble with the Wyatts going over.

Sting takes part in the WWE title Elimination Chamber match but fails to win. Sting then turns heel, joining the Authority and betraying Daniel Bryan. Sting is the one who gets to fight Bryan at WrestleMania XXX (WWE planned on having HHH fight Punk anyway so I don't think they'd mind putting Bryan against Sting). After a classic WM opener, Bryan defeats Sting and goes on to beat Orton and Batista in the main event.

Sting goes on hiatus but returns in the Fall, just in time to be part of Team Authority against Team Cena at Survivor Series 2014. Here, Sting betrays the Authority after many weeks of John Cena trying to get through to him. Team Cena wins, and the Authority begin attacking Sting in retaliation, which is what ultimately leads to Sting vs Triple H at WrestleMania 31, and we're back on the timeline.

Yoko proceeds to kill Hulkamania at King of the Ring & wins the 1993 King of the Ring crown. He challenges Bret at Summerslam & destroys The Hitman to begin his reign of dominance.)

(The only change is that this main events over whatever Diesel's doing. Ideally, it's not facing Mabel but he's also not main eventing so I'm not too worried about it.)

(I'm telling Shawn to get over it & put Vader over. The Mastadon deserves a decent run with the gold. If Shawn's too bent over it, I'll promise him that he'll get his win back later on.)

1998: Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Mankind, The Undertaker, & Kane (c) to win the WWF Championship

(Kane gets a longer reign with the world title. The build is very similar to irl with Kane & Mankind's as well as Stone Cold & Undertaker's brief partnerships dissolving in a bid for the gold. We also see teases of Undertaker & Kane beginning to join forces throughout the build. The alliance is confirmed when Undertaker & Kane team up throughout the match against Austin & Foley. Undertaker nearly wins the title after Kane offers Mankind up to him after a Tombstone...but Austin wails on them both with a steel chair & pins Mankind to regain his title.)

1999: Triple H def. Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) to win the WWF Championship (Jesse Ventura as special guest enforcer)

(The build runs similarly as irl until HHH defeats Mankind to become the #1 Contender for the WWF title thanks to interference from The Unholy Alliance; which leads to a Rock n' Sock Connection vs Unholy Alliance match. HHH defeats Austin for the title after Jesse Ventura shockingly betrays Austin & aligns himself with The Corporation. Afterwards, HHH escapes with the gold while Austin stuns Ventura in the ring.)

(Chris Jericho is revealed as the WWF's traitor instead of Stone Cold & becomes their #1 asset. Austin becomes a tweener who fights against The Alliance but refuses to align with Team WWF's babyfaces such as Rock & Undertaker. Austin's stubbornness to fight alone costs him after The Alliance screws Austin over to allow Jericho to take home the WWF gold.)

(After Vengeance, Jericho & Christian revive their alliance after realizing Cena can't take them both out. Bischoff demands that either Jericho or Christian take the WWE title away from Cena. Hogan returns to even the odds & challenges Jericho & Christian to face Cena & himself. Bischoff books it but inserts himself as special referee. Bischoff spends the match trying to screw Cena & Hogan over until Jericho accidentally lays him out with the enzugiri. Another referee replaces Bischoff & makes the count after Cena drops Jericho with the AA & Hogan follows up with the leg drop for the win. Afterwards, seeds are planted for a Wrestlemania title match between Hogan & Cena.)

Each Team WWE member can take on an individual Nexus member. However, the numbers game falls into Nexus' favor until Cena is left alone against all seven members of Nexus. Cena tries his best to fight back but falls victim to every single member's finishers capped off by Wasteland by Barrett for the win.)

(Cena doesn't challenge Mysterio immediately after Mysterio wins the title. Instead, Cena poises his challenge for the Biggest Party of the Summer. Cena & Mysterio have a fantastic babyface-vs-babyface match that ends with Cena poised to defeat Mysterio until The Miz, who won Money in the Bank for the second year in a row, interferes & attacks both men with the briefcase. Miz capitalizes by cashing in and pinning Mysterio to win the WWE Championship once again!)

(Ideally, Lesnar has not taken a single pin or submission loss since his 2012 return in this universe. Because of that, we're protecting him with a supernatural finish. After both men have gone through hell, Undertaker does some spooky bs that causes the lights to go haywire. Afterwards, Undertaker drills Lesnar with a Last Ride that sends Lesnar through the ring and STRAIGHT TO HELL AS FLAMES BURST FROM UNDER THE RING!! Lesnar loses as a result to literally being sent to hell. This pays off later when Lesnar claws his way out of hell on an episode of Raw & challenges Taker to HIAC.)

2016: Dean Ambrose (c) def. Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

(Shield triple threat happens on a bigger stage. All three men invade each other's show in spite of the draft to mess with each other; leading to this match. Ambrose pins Reigns after Dirty Deeds to retain the title.)

2019: Randy Orton def. Kofi Kingston (c) to win the WWE Championship

(Kofi's reign is given more steam & Orton is built as a monster heel for Kofi to conquer. Unfortunately, Orton cheats and schemes his way to a win here thanks to an interfering FTR. Kofi regains the title at the Fox Smackdown premiere.)

2020: Roman Reigns def. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt (c) in a MITB cash-in to win the WWE Championship

(Bray defeats Kofi for the WWE title on Halloween at Crown Jewel & has a long & dominant run with the title. Meanwhile, Paul Heyman interferes during the Corporate Money in the Bank Ladder match & steals the briefcase while everyone is fighting each other. Heyman teases that "his client" will soon return and lay claim to his WWE Championship by cashing in MITB in his honor. This leads to some legendary promos between Wyatt & Heyman. Most people assume Brock Lesnar will be Heyman's representative but Reigns shocks the world by returning at Summerslam and assuming the role. An uncharacteristically aggressive Reigns becomes the first man to defeat The Fiend cleanly after hitting him with a countless number of spears to win the title; giving birth to The Tribal Chief.

2022: Roman Reigns (c) def. Bobby Lashley to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

(Reigns & Lesnar have their Last Man Standing match at Wrestlemania where Reigns unifies the WWE & Universal titles. Lashley & The New Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin, MVP, and Omos) step up to oppose Reigns' Bloodline. Reigns is forced into a fair one-on-one fight as Lashley's allies cancel any interference The Bloodline may provide. Unfortunately, Lashley doesn't anticipate the interfere of Reigns' honorary uce, Sami Zayn, when Zayn smashes the WWE title across Lashley's face. Reigns capitalizes & spears Lashley to retain.)

2023: Roman Reigns (c) def. Jey Uso in Tribal Combat to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

(This match is less of a glorified extreme rules match & more of a brutal fight akin to their 2020 matches. No inteference is allowed but each man is allowed a corner man. The match ends when the corner man throws the towel in on behalf of the winner. The loser must acknowledge the winner after the match. Reigns brings Solo Sikoa while Jey brings Jimmy. After a bloody match, Jey begs Jimmy not to throw the towel in but Jimmy does so anyways just like he did in 2020. Reigns orders Jey to acknowledge him but Jey refuses and attacks Reigns & Sikoa. Jimmy responds by hitting Jey with a superkick for going back on his word & "dividing the family".)

2026 Night One: CM Punk (c) def. Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Gunther to retain the WWE Championship

(CM Punk wins the WWE Championship in Chicago from Sami Zayn after a nine-day title reign. Zayn responds by crashing out and targetting Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis. Cody Rhodes, Gunther, and a returning Randy Orton all target Punk's title which leads to this fatal four way. Rhodes nearly hits Punk with Cross Rhodes to regain the title but Orton RKO's Rhodes & tries to punt him again. Gunther intercepts & powerbombs Orton on top of Rhodes. Punk rolls back in, hits GTS onto Gunther, and then hits another GTS onto Rhodes to pin him for the win. Rhodes & Orton spiral into a non-title feud while Punk feuds with challengers such as Gunther & Sami Zayn.)

2026 Night Two: Bron Breakker def. Roman Reigns (c) to win the World Heavyweight Championship

(Breakker defeats Oba Femi to win the 2026 King of the Ring thanks to Brock Lesnar's interference. Breakker subsequently defeats Rollins on the next edition of Raw to end their feud & retain his title shot; while teasing Reigns vs Rollins for Mania 43. Breakker finally seizes his opportunity & pins Reigns after several spears to win his first World Championship.)

Hogan makes the cover, but Sting kicks out just as the referee's hand was coming down for the three. The Giant runs in and chokeslams Scott Hall and leaves the ring. Hogan whips Sting with his belt, and then calls out for someone to the ring. Macho Man Randy Savage makes his way to the ring, Hogan holds Sting setting up for Savage to punch him, but Sting ducks out of the way and Savage hits Hogan instead. Sting tosses Savage out of the ring and Lex Luger comes out and chases him away. Hogan hits Sting with a low blow from behind, and then hits the leg drop. Randy Anderson makes the count, but Sting kicks out just in the nick of time. Hogan argues with Anderson, before punching him and knocking him out. There's no referee, until NWO referee Nick Patrick comes out. Hogan hits another leg drop. Patrick makes the count, but Sting kicks out once again. Hogan hits Sting with some punches, but Sting no sells every one and hulks up. Sting mounts a huge comeback hits a Stinger Splash and then hits Hogan with the Scorpion Deathdrop. Sting applies the Scorpion Deathlock, Nick Patrick tries to prevent Hogan from tapping by holding his arms until The American Dream Dusty Rhodes enters the ring. Dusty nails Patrick with the Bionic Elbow to a huge pop from the crowd. Rhodes unbuttons his shirt to reveal a referee shirt underneath, Hogan has nowhere to go and has no choice but to tap out. Sting is the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion, the entire WCW locker room empties out to celebrate The Franchise's triumph over the nWo. During the celebration, Bret Hart makes his way to the ring, this is the Hitman's actual WCW debut. Bret Hart & Sting have a staredown, before Bret extends his hand to Sting. Sting shakes Bret Hart's hand, and Bret then raises Sting's hand to end the show.)

Now, after over 20-Minutes of this Triple Threat Match at No Mercy, Angle hits Eddie with the Angle Slam, and Benoit hits Eddie with the Flying Headbutt to cooperate with each other. Angle pins Eddie and they win the match.)

(After both men were disqualified at Unforgiven, Stephanie and Foley announced that both men got a rematch inside of Hell in a Cell for the WWE Championship at No Mercy and they made it official. Taker has a cast due to his hand injury thanks to Brock breaking his hand with a foreign item as a weapon. Brock and Heyman mock Taker's pregnant Sara wife, but she slaps Heyman across his face and spits Brock's in the face. Taker grew tired of Brock and Heyman mocking his pregnant wife. During the match at No Mercy, Undertaker attacked Lesnar with his cast, causing Brock to bleed. Brock eventually started focusing on Taker's injured hand, but Taker fought back. The American Badass was distracted by Brock’s manager, Heyman. Taker grabbed Heyman's tie through the cage and pulled him repeatedly into the cell wall, causing Heyman to bleed. Brock took advantage of the distraction and started fighting Undertaker. He backed Undertaker into the wall of the cell and worked on the injured hand. He slammed his hand repeatedly and then tried to remove the cast. Undertaker attacked Brock and prevented him from removing the cast. He continued his attempt to remove the cast. He kicked Taker's injured hand, which allowed Brock to remove the cast. The Next Big Thing focused on The Deadman's injured hand and continued to attack it until Taker low-blowed Lesnar. Brock delivered a DDT to The Undertaker. Lesnar went to the outside of the ring. Undertaker attempted a suicide dive on him but, he avoided the move and Taker collided with the cell wall. Brock hit Taker with the steel steps, causing Taker to bleed profusely. He performed a spinebuster on Undertaker for a near-fall. Undertaker attempted Old School, but The Next Big Thing countered. Taker performed a chokeslam on Lesnar for a near-fall. The Beast then tried to mock Taker by performing Taker's own finisher on him, The Last Ride, but The Deadman countered with a back body drop. Undertaker attempted to do his finisher of The Last Ride but Brock slammed Undertaker into the turnbuckle. Brock delivered mounted punches on Undertaker but Taker performed The Last Ride and attempted to pin him, but Brock put his hand on the rope, avoiding the pin. Taker attempted to do the Tombstone Piledriver, but Brock countered and performed an F-5 to win the match and retain the WWE Championship.)

Stephanie and Foley have announced that Benoit and Angle have earned their title opportunity and they are both contenders for the WWE Championship against Brock at Survivor Series. Benoit and Angle get a WWE Championship opportunity at Survivor Series. But this match will be a Triple Threat Elimination Match. Brock attacked Benoit and Angle before Survivor Series came around the corner. Now in this match, three technical wrestlers are facing off in three ways for the WWE title. After over 10-Minutes, Brock hits Angle with the F-5 to get eliminated. Next, Benoit and Brock fight in the last over 10-Minutes. Angle grabbed Heyman to distract Brock. But Big Show tries to interfere in the match against them two to save Heyman and Brock's life, but he fails after Angle stops with the chair. Big Show accidentally hits Brock while he was blinded by Angle with his eye rank, Angle hits Heyman with the chair, and hits Brock with the chair to help Benoit to win the match. Benoit gives Brock a roll-up pin. For the first time in his career after 16 years, Benoit has won the WWE Championship. With WWE Ring Announcer Howard Finkle saying, THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…AND NEW…WWE CHAMPIONSHIP…CHRIS BENOIT! Benoit celebrated with the WWE Championship that he earned after 16 years of his career that he had been waiting for. He celebrated with his family and his friends in the crowd watching him to win the match. All the blood, sweat, and tears. As for Angle, he reluctantly respected him so much that he won the WWE Championship.)

(Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff has come up with an idea and he created a match that nobody has and everybody has. All six men have participated in this match that Bischoff has created. That match will be…Elimination Chamber. The Heartbreak Kid and the leader of the nWo is defending the World Heavyweight Championship. HHH wants the World Heavyweight Championship and takes down his ex-best friend and puts him out of his misery to become the 3x World Champion. Y2J wants to become the World Heavyweight Championship and he never has the Heavyweight Championship belt before and it is now his time to shine since he does not have a WWE Intercontinental Championship this time of the year. Booker T wants the World Heavyweight Championship to become a 6x World Champion. It is the time for RVD to win the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career and it is time to shine for him. Kane wants to become the World Heavyweight Championship like he had won the WWE Championship since King of the Ring ‘98. Raw Commissioner Shane McMahon has chosen them to participate inside the Elimination Chamber Match. This is the first ever Elimination Chamber Match. In the match, HHH and RVD are the first two entries to participate in the match to fight each other. Second, Y2J is the third person to enter out of the pod. Next, Booker T is the fourth person to enter. Next, Kane is the fifth person to enter. And finally, the World Heavyweight Championship, HBK will be the last person to enter. All six men were fighting inside the chamber. After under 15-Minutes, Booker T hits RVD with the Scissor Kick and RVD is the first period to get eliminated by pinfall from Booker T. Secondly, Y2J hit Booker T with a low blow and a roll up pin to get eliminated in over 5-Minutes. Next, Kane gets eliminated by Y2J with the Lionsault and a pin in over 5-Minutes. HBK hits Y2J with the Sweet Chin Music very sneakily eliminated by pinfall in under 10-Minutes. Finally, HBK and HHH are the last two superstars standing in the ring inside the chamber. A few seconds later, Benjamin and Haas allied with Angle and formed a team called Team Angle. But Angle grabbed the belt and he wants Benoit for the WWE Championship anytime, anyplace.)

The reunited Horsemen have once again become one of the most dangerous forces in WCW, while United States Heavyweight Champion Sid Vicious continues destroying everyone placed in front of him.

The Steiner Brothers begin their second reign as World Tag Team Champions with The Midnight Express already targeting the gold.

Paul Orndorff has painted a target on his back as World Television Champion, Vader's arrival has sent shockwaves throughout WCW, and Brian Pillman and Shane Douglas are rapidly becoming bitter rivals.

Elsewhere, the Freebirds' assault on Robert Gibson has reignited their rivalry with the Rock 'n' Roll Express, while Alexandra York promises to revolutionise professional wrestling through the analytical brilliance of Michael Wallstreet.

Backstage Notes

Mark Callous has handed in his notice and will leave WCW, management are very unhappy.

The Samoan Swat Team have departed WCW.

Stan Hansen has signed with WCW.

The Nasty Boys have signed a six-month contract.

Brad Armstrong has signed a full-time contract.

Kevin Nash has signed a developmental deal and will continue working the independent circuit.

Television Highlights

Lex Luger opens WCW Saturday Night blaming Ric Flair—not Sting—for costing him the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

"Ric Flair stole my World Title."

"Sting never beat me."

Jim Ross announces that Sting will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Luger in the biggest television main event in WCW history.

Later that evening, Barry Windham appears to have Arn Anderson defeated before Ric Flair interferes. After the match, Flair restrains Windham while Anderson drives a devastating knee into his shoulder from the second rope. WCW officials confirm Windham will be sidelined indefinitely.

The World Heavyweight Championship rematch between Sting and Lex Luger ends in a no contest when Flair and Anderson attack both men. Sting and Luger reluctantly fight off the Horsemen before Jim Ross announces the Clash main event.

Following a victory over Buddy Landel, Brian Pillman is blindsided by Shane Douglas.

Douglas insists Jim Ross has always favoured Pillman because of his football background.

Week after week, Douglas interrupts WCW Saturday Night, accusing Ross of promoting football players ahead of professional wrestlers.

The confrontation reaches boiling point when Douglas storms the commentary position before Pillman races to Ross's aid, sending Douglas retreating.

Their grudge match is signed for Clash.

Outraged by the Skyscrapers ending the Road Warriors' WCW careers, Brian Pillman challenges Mean Mark to a Loser Leaves WCW match.

Mean Mark accepts immediately.

Pillman surprises everyone by arriving with Paul Orndorff in his corner.

As Dan Spivey and Orndorff brawl around ringside, Mean Mark dominates Pillman before throwing him through the middle rope.

Momentarily distracted by the fight outside, Mean Mark turns his back.

Pillman springs from the apron with the Air Pillman.

Vader returns to action against Tommy Rich.

Rich is completely overwhelmed until Junkyard Dog charges to the ring, drawing a disqualification.

The two monsters fight through a wall of security as officials struggle to restore order.

Their collision is signed for Clash.

The Freebirds brutally attack the Rock 'n' Roll Express after a television match.

Robert Gibson suffers a serious knee injury and is ruled out while undergoing surgery.

Jimmy Garvin mocks Ricky Morton.

"Without Robert Gibson... you're only half a tag team."

Morton demands revenge.

Garvin accepts.

Alexandra York unveils the newest member of the York Foundation.

Mike Rotunda is reborn as Michael Wallstreet.

York claims her portable computer can identify every opponent's weakness before they even step into the ring.

Wallstreet begins compiling an impressive winning streak under York's guidance.

United States Heavyweight Champion Sid Vicious continues bulldozing opponent after opponent, extending his dominant reign with another series of crushing squash victories.

No one has come close to stopping him.

Broadcast live on TBS, Clash of the Champions XII: Lines in the Sand delivered one of the most memorable nights in WCW television history. A new Television Champion was crowned, rivalries intensified, and two legendary names returned to alter the course of WCW.

Jim Ross welcomed viewers.

"Ladies and gentlemen... welcome to Clash of the Champions!"

Michael Wallstreet (w/ Alexandra York) vs. Tim Horner

Alexandra York spent the opening minutes feeding instructions to Wallstreet from her portable computer, calmly directing every move.

Whenever Horner mounted an attack, Wallstreet seemed one step ahead.

After avoiding a crossbody, Wallstreet caught Horner with the Stock Market Crash for a convincing victory.

Winner: Michael Wallstreet by pinfall.

Time: 7:58

Jim Ross questioned whether computers could really replace instinct inside the ring.

Ricky Morton vs. Jimmy Garvin

With Robert Gibson sidelined through injury, Ricky Morton fought with desperation from the opening bell.

Garvin repeatedly targeted Morton's knee before attempting to finish him with the DDT.

Morton escaped at the last second and caught Garvin with a quick jackknife cradle.

Winner: Ricky Morton by pinfall.

Following the match, Garvin and Michael Hayes attacked Morton from behind.

The numbers game proved too much until Brad Armstrong sprinted to the ring.

Armstrong cleared the ring, sending the Freebirds retreating up the aisle.

Jim Ross exclaimed,

"Brad Armstrong has seen enough!"

Brian Pillman vs. Shane Douglas

Douglas wrestled with a chip on his shoulder from the opening bell, constantly glaring towards Jim Ross at ringside.

Every time Pillman gained momentum, Douglas shouted,

"Is this your favourite, Ross?"

Pillman weathered the insults before mounting a spectacular comeback, rocking Douglas with a spinning heel kick before whipping him hard into the corner.

As the referee moved to separate the two men, Douglas quietly loosened the top turnbuckle pad.

Pillman charged across the ring looking for a running corner clothesline.

Douglas sidestepped at the last second.

Pillman crashed shoulder-first into the exposed steel turnbuckle.

Douglas immediately rolled the stunned Pillman into a schoolboy, grabbing a handful of tights.

Winner: Shane Douglas by pinfall.

Douglas rolled from the ring before Pillman could recover, pointing towards Jim Ross as he backed up the aisle.

"Who's your favourite now, Ross?"

Jim Ross replied,

"You proved you'll do anything to win."

Paul Orndorff (c) vs. Dan Spivey

(w/ Paul E. Dangerously)

Orndorff repeatedly fought back against the larger challenger, refusing to stay down despite Spivey's power.

Spivey methodically wore the champion down with heavy strikes and punishing slams, keeping Orndorff grounded and unable to build sustained momentum.

Late in the contest, Orndorff rallied with a series of right hands and nearly retained the championship with the Piledriver, but Paul E. Dangerously placed Spivey's foot on the bottom rope to break the pinfall.

Moments later, Orndorff hit the ropes, Spivey caught Orndorff with a thunderous Spike Slam.

The Midnight Express dissected Rick Steiner's injured ribs throughout the contest, believing the damage from Cornette's tennis racket would finally win them the championships.

Despite the punishment, Rick refused to quit.

Scott exploded into the ring with a hot tag, suplexing both members of the Midnight Express before planting Stan Lane with a thunderous Belly-to-Belly Suplex.

Rick followed with a Steinerline before Scott delivered a spectacular Frankensteiner.

Cornette was furious as the Steiners celebrated another successful title defence.

Vader vs. Junkyard Dog

Junkyard Dog met Vader head-on, refusing to be intimidated.

Vader crushed JYD with clubbing blows before flattening him with a powerslam.

One Vader Bomb wasn't enough.

Neither was two.

After the third Vader Bomb, the referee stopped the contest.

Winner: Vader by referee stoppage.

Vader stood over the fallen Junkyard Dog.

Suddenly...

The Greensboro Coliseum erupted.

Stan Hansen marched purposefully to the ring, swinging his trademark bullrope.

Vader charged straight at him.

The two monsters collided in the centre of the ring, trading heavy right hands to a deafening ovation.

Hansen stunned Vader with the bullrope, sending the monster retreating to the floor for the first time in WCW.

Officials flooded the ring before the fight could continue.

Jim Ross shouted,

"Stan Hansen is back!"

"We've just witnessed a collision between two of the toughest men in professional wrestling!"

Sid Vicious (c) vs. Terry Taylor

Terry Taylor tried to outmanoeuvre the United States Heavyweight Champion, but Sid barely gave him the opportunity.

One clothesline.

One Chokeslam.

One Powerbomb.

Sid crawled from his fallen opponent and spoke straight to the camera,

Main Event

Sting & Lex Luger vs. Ric Flair & Arn Anderson

The uneasy alliance between Sting and Lex Luger was tested from the opening bell.

Every time momentum swung towards the babyfaces, Flair and Anderson cut the ring in half with trademark Horsemen precision.

Anderson dragged Sting through the ropes and the fight spilled onto the arena floor. Sting eventually trapped Anderson in the Scorpion Deathlock outside the ring, leaving Luger and Flair alone inside.

Suddenly...

Gary Hart walked onto the entranceway.

The crowd erupted.

Standing beside him was...

Terry Funk.

For the first time since 1989, Funk and Flair came face to face.

Brandishing his trademark branding iron, Funk charged towards the ring.

Flair ducked.

Luger stepped forward at the same moment.

CRACK!

The branding iron smashed into Luger's forehead.

Funk stood frozen in disbelief as Gary Hart berated him for striking the wrong man.

Flair wasted no time.

He dropped onto Luger for the cover.

Sting rushed back into the ring just as the bell sounded and checked on the fallen Luger while Gary Hart ushered Terry Funk towards the dressing room.

Clash of the Champions XII: Lines in the Sand faded off the air with Ric Flair and Arn Anderson celebrating in the ring while Sting knelt beside the unconscious Lex Luger.

Austin stays a tweener after Survivor Series. He loses the title to Jericho at Vegeance but gains it back at the Rumble. In the same PPV, HHH wins the 2002 Royal Rumble. They restart their feud stemming from HHH’s 2001 injury. It’s a brutal and personal feud. In the last chapter of their epic feud, HHH gets the big win and is Undisputed Champion. Austin and HHH finally shake hands post match.

WWF World Tag Team Championships: The Outsiders vs The Hardy Boyz vs Team 3D vs Edge and Christian in a TLC Match

In this universe, E&C never split up during the Invasion angle and make it through Mania 18 despite ongoing tensions because of miscommunication. They are the fan favorites as they enter the stadium they watched Hogan vs Warrior in. The Outsiders are here to takeover the tag division of the WWF. E&C nearly win but The Outsiders screw them over and win. Edge and Christian Hug to celebrate their careers but Christian turns heel on Edge. He gives his best friend a massive con chairito to boos!

Loser Leaves WWF: Booker T with Goldust vs Diamond Dallas Page

Booker T and DDP are at each others throats over their lack of success during the invasion angle and their runs right now in the WWF. Goldust who’s the Nepo baby of Dusty Rhodes keeps trying to court one of them in funny skits. He ends up choosing Booker t who wants none of him. The match is made loser leaves WWF. Booker T wins and DDP is unfortunately out of the WWF. Goldust hugs him and Booker T unwittingly reciprocates back. It takes a few months for them to be close.

WWF Hardcore: Kane vs Mike Awesome vs The Big Show in a Falls Count Anywhere Match

An amazing brawl with high spots including three monsters. Have Awesome go full ECW out. Awesome gets the win.
