July’s my birthday month and hence i treated myself to quite a few. Most are from resale, a few from amazon, a good handful from the Criterion Sale at B&N.

Finally picked up They Will Kill You (by finally I mean I wanted to get it on the day of release but couldn't)

Shockingly found Cocoon and the Watchmen Ultimate Cut bluray as well

I have a friend who works at a local thrift store, and apparently, two copies of this sick Fight Club set were donated. He ended up buying both of them and recently gave one to me as a gift. (Thanks, Bob.)

I asked him if he knew what was up with the signature, and he said he has no clue whose it is. I kinda like to think it’s some random guy who signs thrift store DVDs. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out whose signature it may be. Thanks!

I got some more things today and I expanded the shelf so much.

Soul Survivors looks so camp. It’s funny cuz I’m still in the middle of my first Buffy watch so I’ve only known about Eliza Dushku until recently and now I got this movie from a married couple who were giving away all of their DVD and VHS collection away (there’s A LOT more lol) I think a lot of it was the husbands influence. Many horror movies.

speaking of VHS, also super stoked about “The Craft” VHS. Love that movie. I haven’t tried my mums old VHS player yet but it should still work hopefully. Will try out soon

Found this today. Blind buy, but recommended from a book I have about 500 cult films to check out. Love 12 Monkeys and this visually looks like it matches that one.

Wow, I just bought six used DVDs and one brand new sealed DVD for $4-8 each and I used a coupon which is a total steal. I can’t wait to watch these.

Look at this LOOT! 👀 I’m visiting my sister in my hometown (The Bay Area) and we decided to go physical media hunting today!!! I got all this for like $30 bucks! (Mostly from the dollar bin) What a steal!!! Don’t judge my movie taste lol! I’m really into Frankie Muniz as of late. hahaha 📀♾️❤️

Yeah I found a few interesting things here, but the most stuff I was happy to find was:

- A CD Holiday sampler of Christmas with the Kranks (which was bundled with the movie on DVD, from doing my research)
- The original 1997 DVD of Twister (aka the first Hollywood film to be released on that format)
- The CD soundtrack for How to Eat Fried Worms (it a movie related post so it counts)

Now quick question about Disc 1 of Seinfeld: Season 4 (the only season of this show not being re-packaged in 2012 in a slimmer packaging). My copy seems to have somewhat disc rot issues, but it should be playable. I don’t know if anyone has it like that, let me know!

got this used felicis dvd player ages ago. finally plugged it in and everything works. put in a dvd, ended up pushing it closed instead of hitting the button (out of habit with my cd player) and now it won’t eject when i hit the button. the menu on the side will change from open to closed but nothing happens.

i heard of a paper clip method but i cant find any hole to put it into? does anyone know what to do?
