please lmk if this post isn’t allowed here… i’m just assuming since yall own big collections, you might’ve stumbled upon this issue

got this used felicis dvd player ages ago. finally plugged it in and everything works. put in a dvd, ended up pushing it closed instead of hitting the button (out of habit with my cd player) and now it won’t eject when i hit the button. the menu on the side will change from open to closed but nothing happens.

i heard of a paper clip method but i cant find any hole to put it into? does anyone know what to do?

I have a friend who works at a local thrift store, and apparently, two copies of this sick Fight Club set were donated. He ended up buying both of them and recently gave one to me as a gift. (Thanks, Bob.)

I asked him if he knew what was up with the signature, and he said he has no clue whose it is. I kinda like to think it’s some random guy who signs thrift store DVDs. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out whose signature it may be. Thanks!

Here is my diy dvd rack I just installed, hoping it holds up, as I was going to get a picture yesterday, but the epoxy i use failed, so fingers crossed this new repair holds... This build was inspired by the old IKEA metal wall racks. I like idea, just the price wasn't right for my ever evolving collection.

The rack itself is made of metal from an old shelf that was getting replaced, as it was a cheap thing that failed. Then we had part of a tree fall in a recent storm, so I took some of it and made something. I think it turned out decent for a few day project, and has just enough room for another dvd or two.

The one image shows the prototype by the finished product. I will likley have to get a second one made sooner than later though... Also feel free to judge the movies and music I have on the rack so far.

Residen Evil: The Final Chapter on bluray that I requested from swapadvd came in last night, completing my Resident Evil bluray collection. I know there is another movie that came out about 5 years ago but that is a reboot so I wasn't trying for that 1. I also know that there are some animated movies too but I don't believe those are part of this series. If I'm wrong on that let me lnow.

I've only ever seen the 1st 3 movies in the series and wanted to wait until I got them all before I watched any more.

The 1st 2 I saw in the theater, 3rd I think I either rented or saw on cable, I'm not really sure on that and don't really remember that movie all too much.

Heard alot of good things about this movie, so hope it lives up to it :)

July’s my birthday month and hence i treated myself to quite a few. Most are from resale, a few from amazon, a good handful from the Criterion Sale at B&N.

looking for some shelving or bookcases that aren't too big or deep. I've seen people recommend Atlantic storage cabinets, but all of them seem to be taken down, so I'm looking for alternatives. looking for the depth to be about 6-8 inches and nothing too tall and nothing that takes up too much space. this is more so for a bedroom.

I know this movie has a mixed reception but it was $5 and I rarely pass up a deal like that. Also yes I own the original lol.

I hope you find something you have forgotten about that you used to love<3

I am really enjoying curating my collection of weird stuff , there is so much out there i love this and being able to explore the many different worlds all these directors actors and producers create.

What is your favorite movie here!? I haven't seen them all yet so ill take reccomendations on what i should watch first (if I haven't seen it yet) or what I should add to the collection

Wow, I just bought six used DVDs and one brand new sealed DVD for $4-8 each and I used a coupon which is a total steal. I can’t wait to watch these.

Got all these for free cuz they were just gonna get thrown out. That Downton Abbey box is still sealed.

Doesn't look faulty to my eye, but two players say disc unrecognizable. It's a Swedish release so region compatibility shouldn't be an issue. Kind of a shame because I was really hyped about finding this one cheap. Oh well.

Maybe it's a cosmic metajoke about not being able to watch the film.
