Question what's the most frustrating part of running a D2C/ecom brand?

I've been running my own online shop for about a year now. There are plenty of things that are frustrating or take up a lot of time due to manual work...tasks where I find myself thinking, "Surely there's an easier way to do this." But what about D2C brands that are already generating over €500k in annual revenue? What do you find to be the most frustrating part?

Question Is this normal?

I spend $90 across 3 campaigns, some days it will be great returns, and some days it’s terrible like the photos I’ve shown. I made no major changes to the campaigns in this 2 photos. Just wondering if it’s normal meta inconsistency or am I doing something wrong.

Dropwinning Q4 is closer than you think. What are you doing NOW to prepare?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Yesterday was a solid day for my store.

But this post isn't about revenue.

It's about Q4.

Every year, I see people waiting until October to "get ready."

By then, they're already behind.

The sellers who usually have their best Q4 are the ones putting in the work during July, August and September.

Here's what I'm focusing on right now:

1.Testing products before ad costs spike.

2.Creating multiple ad creatives instead of relying on one winner.

3.Improving my product pages and checkout experience to increase conversion rate.

4.Building email and SMS flows so I don't have to rely only on paid ads.

5.Strengthening relationships with suppliers to avoid stock issues and shipping delays during the holiday rush.

One thing I've learned is that Q4 doesn't create winners ,it amplifies the work you've already done.

If your store is barely profitable today, Q4 won't magically fix everything.

But if you've built a solid foundation, optimized your store and understand your numbers, Q4 can be the period that changes your entire year.

A few reminders for anyone preparing:

Don't chase every trending product.

Know your break-even ROAS.

Improve your Average Order Value (bundles, upsells, quantity breaks).

Test creatives relentlessly.

Keep cash aside for scaling if something takes off.

Don't neglect customer support it becomes even more important during the holiday season.

The biggest mistake I made early on was thinking I had to find the perfect product.

The reality is that consistent testing and execution beat perfection every time.

What's the one thing you're doing right now to prepare for Q4 that you think more dropshippers should be doing?

Let's share ideas someone here might avoid making an expensive mistake because of this .

Question Google ads 1 week metrics. No conversions

Post image
3 Upvotes

Looking for insight. Started running google ads… ran into some campaign issues as it was falsely measuring conversions every time someone went to product page. Fixed it and have been running shopping feed only 1 week about $20 per day. With these metrics should I double down or is there an issue? Should I find a new ad strategy?

Review Request Hi, can someone rate my shopify store? (0,3% conversion rate - HELP!)

I’m getting traffic to my streetwear store, but the conversion rate is only 0.3%, so clearly something isn’t working.

Store: https://swagwrld.com

Can someone honestly review the design, product pages, prices, trust, mobile experience and checkout flow? Don’t sugarcoat it — tell me exactly what makes you hesitate or leave without buying.

Any specific tips to improve conversions would be massively appreciated.

Question Support needed!

Hi everyone, some of you might be experts or experienced in finding suppliers. Therefore I'm need of some guidance and support in finding good suppliers/manufacturers in Asia/Europe. I'm looking for a supplier who can ;

• Can dropship with print on demand model in the home textile category
• Is connected to Woocommerce,shopify
• Handle single customer orders
• Package customization

I have reached out to some suppliers/manufacturers on alibaba however many have high moqs, are not able to process or do not offer the product that I would like.

Am I doing something wrong, should I look on other marketplaces?

Review Request What's Next when dealing with SEO?

Hello, I'm just starting out with my store and I'd like some advice on what to do next.

So far I've added my products, and given them a detailed description. I've also added unique meta descriptions for every product and page. I've added Alt text to almost every image on the site and I've submitted my sitemap to Google Search Console.

What do you recommend i do next to get everything up and running and make sure that not only is the site great but my organic traffic is great as well?

Site is BirdFection.com

Question How are you dealing with chargebacks from slow shipping?

Dropshipping question, especially for stores with longer delivery windows.

How are you dealing with chargebacks where the item is technically in transit bt the customer gets impatient and files item not received or fraud?

Do you send tracking updates more aggressively? Change delivery language on the product page? Refund faster before it turns into a dispute or hw exactly are handling it..
Trying to separate what actually reduces chargebacks from stuff that just looks good in theory.

Question How do you organize new/existing creatives after launching a Meta campaign?

Sup guys, I’m new to Meta ads and trying to keep things simple. I’ll be launching my first batch of ads next week.

I’ve already created nine UGC talking head videos. They all use the same general format, but each one has a different actor, environment and, most importantly, a different angle or sales message.

For example, one person might be talking in her car, another in a kitchen and another at the gym. The main difference between the ads is the reason being presented for why someone should buy the product (AKA the angle).

My current plan is:

  • 1 CBO campaign
  • 1 broad ad set
  • Around 9–10 UGC talking-head ads, each using a different angle

I was also considering this structure:

  • 1 CBO campaign
  • 3 ad sets, each based on a specific angle or concept
  • 3 related ads inside each ad set

Since my existing ads are mostly nine different angles rather than three variations of three angles, I’m leaning toward putting everything into one broad ad set at first.

My main question is: what do you normally do after that?

Adding New Creatives: Do you keep adding every new creative to the same ad set? For example, if I make an animation format ad, or a podcast format ad, would you drop it into the existing ad set full of my UGC videos? Or should I create a new adset altogether?

Winners in Existing Adset: What about the winners? Lets say after 3-4 days I have an ad that is popping off. Do I leave it in there, or duplicate it somewhere else too?

I’m not looking for an overly complicated media-buying strategy. Especially when starting out. I just want to understand the basic workflow people actually use for launching, testing, adding creatives and organizing winners.

appreciate yuo very much!

Marketplace Virtual Assistant with 6 years of experience looking to support a dropshipping or e-commerce business

Hi everyone,

I’m a Virtual Assistant from the Philippines with 6 years of experience supporting startups and small businesses with administrative and operational tasks. I’m currently looking for a full-time remote opportunity and would like to work with a dropshipping store, Shopify business, Amazon FBA seller, or another e-commerce business that needs consistent operational support.

The tasks I usually handle include:

  • Email and calendar management
  • Follow-up coordination
  • Online research and data gathering
  • Data entry and spreadsheet management
  • Document preparation and formatting
  • SOP documentation and process organization
  • Basic product description updates and product information organization
  • General administrative support

I also have experience using ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini for research, organizing information, drafting emails, and handling repetitive administrative tasks.

I don’t have direct Shopify store management experience yet, but I’m comfortable learning new systems and following established processes. I’ve been spending time learning more about dropshipping and e-commerce operations so I can better understand the workflows involved in order handling, customer support coordination, product information management, and day-to-day store operations.

One thing I’ve learned from working with small businesses is that follow-ups, inbox management, documentation, and keeping information organized are often the tasks that get postponed first, even though they affect daily operations quite a bit. That’s the area where I’m usually most helpful.

If you’re running a dropshipping or e-commerce business and need someone to help keep the operational side organized, I’m happy to answer questions and discuss what kind of support you’re looking for.

Question Software dropshipping

• Upvotes

I have a software company with skilled developers but we having issues for finding clients, if you have a great network for finding clients we want to collabrate with you, you take about 40 percent of project profit and communicate with clients like dropshipping, essentially we are building web apps, websites, mobile apps and ERP systems etc.

Discussion Dropshipping scam on fiverr.

• Upvotes

Hey guys, so basically, I payed a guy 130 bucks on fiverr for a Dropshipping course because a guy here on Reddit recommended him to me. The guy that recommended him has a social media ads account for his supposed shop, I searched his website that doesn’t even have that much traffic and all of his followers on the TikTok account are Nigerian bots, which line up with the fiverr coach’s nationality. It started smelling fishy and I asked for a refund on fiverr. No one can promise 5k each product just because he says so. Stay safe guys. DM me for the document the guy gave me on fiverr to see if it looks generic.

PS: I know it was stupid of me to pay that guy but I’m tired of people trying to scam me for dropshipping courses and thought this could be real for one time. The guy on Reddit said he spent 2k with the guy setting up the store.

Question Product Testing

Very general question. How much money should be spent on a test and how long should a test be for meta ads before you can say that a product is not working. I just started my store I’d say three weeks ago and my first test I spent about 55 a day (one week before I changed something due to no purchases but some atcs but very high ctr)and second test 85 a day (one week got 2 sales but still high atc and high ctr with a lot of landing page views ). I think I have to run them for longer but I am new to this and I have been seeing a lot of different opinion on test periods so I’m wondering if anyone has a rule of thumb .

Question Shopify Payout 22/07/26

Hi everyone,

Anyone from UK facing delays in payouts for today ?

My payout was initiated at 09:30am and on my Shopify dashboard it’s showing as ā€œdepositedā€

Usually when it says deposited, it reflects in my bank account not more than 30 minutes.

Today, it’s been more than 7 hours and nothing in my bank account, I’ve received the usual email of my deposit. Everything’s seems to be normal but the deposit isent there.

I had a word with my bank (HSBC) they are saying
Nothing has come through - Shopify is saying they have dispatched the deposit in the morning and it should arrive within 1 - 3 business days but it’s never the case since it’s a faster payment and I’ve been running this store for over a year.

Long story short Shopify is saying it will come through, but I still wana know if anyone is also facing the same issue for today’s deposit ? Did yours went into ā€œdepositedā€ on your Shopify dashboard and has landed in your bank account ?
