I would love to have your honest opinion about it.
I made it live using a Korg Minilog.

One drone track. No overdub. Built raw on analog machines, mastered digital. The sound is obsessive, full of micro-details that only surface in silence and at volume.
The second single of Dronoisium's new era.

Derek Dunn and I collaborate on seven different instrument combinations. Each one played live, improvised, and all performances completed same day. Thank You.

Hi everyone. In short, would you call this music Drone or something else?
I'm struggling to figure out what genre my music fits into. When it comes to making the music I don't care about genre, as I'm just making what I like. But for the purposes on finding the right audience and appropriately tagging it on Bandcamp and social media etc, I'm at a bit of a loss.
There are definitely drone elements, but it may be too melodic in places. There are ambient elements, but it may be too harsh for that. Post-rock is so broad now that it doesn't immediately get across the tone.
So yeah, your insight would be much appreciated! Cheers

Hello everyone,
I'm not sure if this 100% comes under the umbrella of drone, but I've been listening repeatedly to this track "Howl" on the album Howl by Daisy Rickman and wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of similar artists/tracks to this so I don't have to repeat this one quite so often (apologies for the full album link I couldn't find it as a stand-alone track). It begins at 20:05.
Thanks for any pointers!

Earlier this week I decided to build a patch on my Korg Wavestate. I felt it very ominous, but soothing. So, I decided to record it for one hour and put it up as an ambient track for meditation, writing, TTRPG campaigns etc.
Heavily inspired by my love for Akira Yamaoka’s work on Silent Hill and the “Soundtrack” to David Lynch’s Eraserhead.
I plan on doing more of these so I’d love feedback, it’s very different from my other work which is much more Fantasy / Dungeon Synth Adjacent.
Thanks for listening!

a little piece I made by using various keyboards laying around my house and running them through numerous amps and pedals, creating a glitchy, distorted, and changing sound through the piece.
