As my boyfriend and I were headed into Pixar Pier, we saw a kid with a Flik stuffie. I was shocked to see one because I haven’t seen much Bugs Life representation in the parks on either coast so I was so excited to hear I could win one at one of the carnival games!

We realized he is a large prize so my boyfriend and I both played in hopes of getting him. Our game operator was so nice and knew we were going for Flik so she said “a little pixie dust for ya” and gave us 12 candy corns to throw each instead of 8. Despite this, we were still awful at it and only got one in each 🥲

She took pity on us and said she’d combine our two points (which is a medium prize), and then said I could pick Flik since that’s what I really wanted. She was so incredibly nice and created a memory we’ll never forget! I immediately left a Cast Compliment in the app.

I remember when I was younger and poor lol, I would always watch from the outside and see so many characters within the buffet. I remember seeing the princesses and other characters. It used to be full with them walking around.

However, now it seems like it’s only Goofy and his friends? I went today, and it was a fun experience, but we kept seeing the same repeated characters. I think it’s to the point that the characters got awkward cuz of how many times they kept passing by us within the hour

So I am wondering when did this change happen?

just finished first trip to Disney in 15 years with my two young kids and let me just say…it..was…awful. I spent all this extra money buying lightning and was hardly able to use it after 11! I was even aware of some refresh tricks, but same with 100s of others in the park and all competing for the same rides. we just ended waiting in horrendous lines each time. All the CA key holders can keep it to themselves, I will never pay money to fly in- what a nightmare.

Hello all. I go to Disneyland twice a year and I love getting on all the rides, but I’ve never gotten on the incredicoaster and GotG drop(I don’t ever think I’ll get on the drop). I want to try the incredicoaster but it’s just extremely intimidating. My favorite rides are space mountain and cars. What did you guys do to get rid of that fear IF you u ever had it.

I recently returned to Disneyland on the day of its 71st anniversary on July 17, and had a really great time!

Kind of a milestone for me because it’s my 5th lifetime visit to the park, and I never thought I’d get to experience celebrating Disneyland’s birthday while I’m actually there! I really enjoyed the special “Celebrate Happy” birthday cavalcade. I had some really great interactions with the characters and the cast members, went on my favorite attractions such as It’s A Small World and The Haunted Mansion, and got to see the Paint the Night parade for the very first time!

All in all, this ended up being the best Disneyland trip I’ve ever experienced. I’m very glad I got to experience Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration before it ends next month. I’m so grateful to all the cast members that help make it happen.

Kraft Heinz is taking its turnaround plan to the Magic Kingdom, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The food conglomerate has struck a partnership with Disney that will make products like Heinz ketchup and Kraft Mac & Cheese available at Disney's theme parks and cruises, while also allowing Kraft Heinz to use the entertainment giant's characters on packaging.

It's part of a push by new Kraft Heinz CEO Steve Cahillane to revitalize the brand, which has seen lagging sales, and it follows a similar partnership with the NFL.

Walked into my hotel in anaheim yesterday and found out they changed their overnight guest parking to $40 a night. literally more than double what it was last time we stayed here. It feels like every business around the resort is just aggressively trying to bleed families dry before they even step through the turnstiles

we flew into LAX and I just wanted to have a car on hand for grocery runs and getting the kids back and forth without dealing with crammed shuttle buses at midnight

glad I at least saved some cash by picking up a standard crossover on turo instead of paying the insane airport desk premiums, but man, the local hotel gouging still hurts. Next time we are definitely staying further out or just doing rideshares. my wallet is already crying and we haven't even bought our first churro yet.

With the 30-minute early entry being gone, and I’m sure this gets brought up a lot. But wtf is the point in staying on property. The prices for the times I was looking at going STARTED at $550/night and went up to $800/night.

Obviously, they’re luxury resorts sure. But they don’t have luxury amenities.

Now that the new policies have set in… has anyone stayed is it really worth it or is it the same as good neighbor.

I know FL is different than California when it comes to construction laws. I just find it odd that Epic universe and universal studios in FL created a whole new park and they are expanding.

Just wondering why it takes so long for Disney to build.

I just got done with a Disney trip and my heart aches for the bugs land. I have kids now and my youngest LOVES that movie, he would have been over the moon for that section of the park.

I read online that it was removed for small attendance, but that doesn’t make sense to me because it was perfect for little kids, had water and shade. and they’ve kept things that have had way less attendance (like why do we need a Swiss Robinson tree at every single Disney park? lol)

Where did all these people come from?!?! It was not like this just a few days ago. 80 mins on Tiana, Rise has been down for a while, so has Pirates. Star Tours has been glitching. Thunder Mountain went down for a bit. Multiple attractions with 60min+ wait times. I’ve heard that Mondays are quite the busiest and now I believe it. LOL! Glad we stacked a bunch of lightning lanes towards the later part of the day. It doesn’t matter what the crowd is like, this will still be the happiest place on earth to my family. Moments of fun, a lifetime of memories.

I love Haunted Mansion. Popular opinion, I know.

But after riding it a bunch in recent visits, I noticed something that didn't stick out to me before. In the transition from the ballroom into the attic, guests pass along an initial pile of attic stuff on the right. But on the left, it's just a black wall with a huge door that looks like it belongs in front of a garage or warehouse. It's not easy to see in this screenshot of a ridethrough, but in person it really sticks out. I'm not sure if this is a recent development or always the case.

It's just kind of strange because if they can control the direction that the guest is facing, I'd expect them to rotate us toward that stuff on the right so we don't have to see the wall on the left. I see that the attic was redone in 2006, and admittedly I had only been on the ride once before 2026 so I might've just missed something that's been there for 20 years now.

So has anyone else noticed or did I simply re-ride too many times and I'm noticing stuff that people happily ignore?
