What's should I upgrade next ?

finale I got my cz scorpion, just picked up and new in the box, can't wait to shoot it when I'm home!

I have my HB industries handguard and on the cusp of getting the X-SD barrel. Currently looking around for suppressors, it seems that the YHM R9 is a pretty good suppressor, I was wondering if anyone has pictures of this exact setup?

So I’m absolutely going to buy the rare breed/nexus FRT when it releases but I’m not super knowledgeable about gun mechanics yet. (Pursuing a couple of full time careers) my only issue is I’m not sure what else I need to upgrade in my scorpion carbine to ensure or at least try to get the best reliability

I’m going to pay a gun smith to install it and whatever else I need to upgrades but I’m looking for some advice from more knowledgeable people on what other upgrades are needed for this frt install.

Hello everyone, We know everyone has been antsy about the update of the Rare Breed FRT-SC3. We have helped Rare Breed finish the development of the FRT over these past few months. It’s taken way longer than initially anticipated as we have done a significant amount of testing to make sure the FRT is compatible with all variants and generations of the CZ Scorpion and Nexus EVO platforms. We thank everyone for their patience and Rare Breed is currently gearing up for production and we will be able to release some more specific release updates very soon!

We ask that you give us the space we need to make sure this is a successful launch. Inundating us with questions about release is not helping. We are actively working every day with Rare Breed and just know we are both looking to release this as soon as humanly possible. However with that being said we are not rushing to put out a bunch of slop. This trigger is HEAVILY tested and we are confident all of you interested in this product are going to absolutely love it!

I asked Nexus what they meant by 'initial samples' and just got vague answers and the runaround on due dates. So, I asked Rare Breed directly myself.

Based on their response, it's safe to assume that anything Nexus has been saying isn't sanctioned by Rare Breed. There is no official release timeline whatsoever, and Rare Breed hasn't even confirmed a partnership with Nexus.

This is what i mean when i say "Rare Breed hasn't even confirmed a partnership with Nexus." Rare Breed’s statement "Information about product launches, partnerships, and release timelines is communicated as those details are finalized, and we want to make sure anything we share is accurate rather than speculative’ makes it clear that no official arrangement with Nexus has been finalized, or at least not one they are willing to make public.

And I just got my own alignment rod in from accuracy solutions, and it looks like the alignment rod is touching the top left corner of the suppressor, which I'm assuming is the culprint of the issue. It is mounted on with a Comstock plan b flash hider and Comstock plan b low profile mount Not sure what I need to do to fix this problem, any advice would be appreciated.

I am trying to put the factory stock back on my scorpion, but for the love of me I can't take the Lage stock adapter off my scorpion. Oiled the gaps, rubber mallet. Tried it all. Any suggestions?

Has anybody had experience or heard of an issue with the trunnion on Scorpions being loose? I noticed that the barrel and trunnion were moving independently of the receiver on my 3+ after I removed the factory handguard to install a HBI handguard a few days ago. Not a lot of play, but just enough to notice the barrel moving. I’ve been back and forth with both HBI and CZ.

HBI is saying it’s an issue with the gun and that the polymer halves should rigidly retain the trunnion on their own. The handguard should not even make contact with the polymer receiver itself- only the barrel and trunnion.

CZ is telling me the exact opposite- trunnion/barrel play can happen if the handguard is removed.

The only reason this is an issue is because the HBI handguard very noticibly moves when installed and I've confirmed that its not a loose barrel nut- its the trunnion and barrel moving in the receiver. There is absolutely zero movement with the factory handguard installed.

Not sure who to believe or if the gun is even safe to shoot at this point. Broke gun? Broke HBI handguard? Poor tolerance stacking? Send it?

I tried to punch the locking pin into my stud guide rod and crumbled the locking pin horribly. Does any body know where I can buy extra and also guide me to A Proper Armorers Punch Kit

Does anyone know if there are any guns who sells complete parts kits for the recievers? I want to build off of a nexus upper and felt that it would cost less to buy a scorpion just to cannibalize it for parts

Finally got the Form 1 approval! Nexus roller delay upper receiver and enhanced bolt, OEM lower, Timney trigger, Strike magwell, Strike extended mag release, Strike charging handle, Magpul grip, Samson grenade short foregrip, A3 folding stock, Novox X-SD, HBI handguard, Huxwrx Flow 9k Ti, Unity QD Fast rider, Holosun 510c, OEM irons.

To keep things short, I placed my scorpion against a wall brace down and it fell. I guess the charging handle landed right on the wheel of my chair, but it broke. This to me is unacceptable. I understand it’s a fragile part, but this was his was a small fall. Are there any charging handles with more durability that don’t cost $100 like the Ascalon charging handle?

First off, sorry for contributing to the weekly "WHEN FRT RELEASE" posts but with the CO's august first laws changing soon which will prohibit sales of FRT's I just want to know if buying one will even be a possibility at all. u/Sad-Championship485 I know its frustrating addressing this question repeatedly, not being able to give updates if variables out of your hands haven't changed. At this point, it's not a matter of continued patience, myself and any other CO resident customers have a 20 day deadline where if we don't get it by then, we are just SOL. I know you've mentioned a couple times recently that there will be an initial release in the firearms and then an individual trigger release afterwards but its hard not feeling burned after already buying a gen2 Nexus Evo intending to run this trigger pack that's been teased since October/November.

Im not trying to antagonize here, I'm a long time fan and a loyal customer. I bought the upgraded bolt very early and I'm pretty certain I was one of the first customers to receive The gen2 Evo. Can we get an update beyond "it's coming soon"? I'd just like to know if I'll even be able get one of these at all. If it's not possible, I can make peace with that, but I just want to be able to manage expectations.

I can’t get the safety bar to seat all the way in order to attach the right side safety lever. Saw some other posts about just wiggling it around until you hear a click in place but I can’t seem to get it. Also not sure where the detent on the right side (left side in the first picture) of the bar is supposed to be in relation to that bar on the tigger housing.

Thinking about hitting up Gafs to see if anyone has a bullpup kit they're willing to part with. I am curious about a couple things:

- Is it compatible with the HBI SR handguards (the wider suppressor ready ones)?

- Will the HBI reduced power trigger spring make a big difference in the bullpup, considering that the kit uses the factory trigger pack? HBI advertises the reduced power spring takes the factory trigger from 9lbs to about 5.5.

- I do not have an OEM scorpion, as I build my Nexus Evo. Could I expect anyone on Gafs to sell the kit with the OEM parts included and installed (mainly concerned about the trigger) or are these components ones that scorpion owners would prefer to remove and keep for themselves? Want to get an idea for budget assuming they sell the kit with no parts included.

Please do not try to sell me the kit on here, I don't want to be banned from this sub.
