GENERAL Do not outright ask "What was on your exam". Do not outright say "My exam had ____". This includes topics etc.

Hello Candidates!

Updating the stickied post about sub rules as there have been a few rascals griping about “not seeing a rule saying xyz” even though they received a ban for it. If the rule you broke was relating to exam disclosure - thats not even a sub rule. Thats a rule you agreed to when you sat for the exam. Do not solicit or provide exam content.

First – I want to point out we do have an Automod in place that removes anything from accounts < 5 days old or with < 5 combined karma. We do get some spam posted here and this automod helps quite a bit. If you are on a new account and start posting here, add a comment with a u/galbert123 mention and ill approve it asap

Put at least a little effort into your posts, especially titles Yes this is me on a power trip. I hate clickbait. If your question fits into a post title, ask the question! Dont post "I have a question..." "Should I get my cpa if..."

No Clickbait Post Titles

Be ethical – Do not post, offer to share, buy, sell or ask for copywritten study material – This is an immediate ban

No Promotional Accounts - This is not a place to advertise products. There are some clear xyz product Ambassador accounts that ONLY comment about what study material they use. I’m removing that stuff. If you throw it in every once and a while fine, but some account I see are literally just ads for the study material. Organic conversation about the study material you use is great. Here are reddit guidelines on self promotion.

But what about those ads/promotions I see for xyz product

That company pays for those through the proper reddit channels.

This is NOT a study material marketplace Do not make posts trying to sell your old material, your post removed, maybe a ban if it looks overly sketchy

Use tact and be generally kind to each other – The downvotes usually speak for themselves on this. When I start to see one user getting a bunch of reports and it looks like an obvious troll, I’ll probably ban. This is a judgement call.

Shit posts are great. Posting bullshit is not. Posts like “Score Release moved to after thanksgiving - wouldn’t be surprised from NASBA” is not a shit post or a joke post. It needlessly stressed a bunch of people out

This is a bunch of bullshit censorship.

I guess that's one way to look at it. I dont know where the compulsion to be a jerk fits into the overall betterment of the sub. We are generally all fighting the same fight here.

Asking for or providing exam content is not allowed. This includes "What topics were heavily tested"

Asking what should I study is ok. Asking "Those who recently took AUD, what should I study" leans toward not ok because of the implication. People here are generally good people. Exclude any references to your exam or recent exam takers etc. They'll tell you what to study.

"What sim topics did you see (on your exam)?" No.

What sim topics should I study? - good

"Just got out of AUD, I saw sims on X Y and Z (on my exam)" - No.

"Study this because I saw it on my exam". No good. Just say "it would be wise study this". Get it? If you are talking about your exam, or asking other candidates about their exam, don't.

If you get banned for this, its usually just to get your attention that what you posted broke the rule. Send me a message and ill undo it, just keep your posts compliant with AICPA disclosure policy. I dont want to ban anyone ever.

Please see this post for some examples.

21 day edit: Interesting how two of the people who chimed in saying how stupid this is rarely if ever contributed to the sub otherwise prior to this post and now have deleted their account completely.

Mod Note Reminder - This is not a buying/selling/sharing sub. Asking for or offering access or login credentials to study resources is an immediate ban.

Note on the title - When I say this is not a sharing sub, I am referring to sharing of paid access to study resources. Sharing your own home made study guides is fine - though I highly recommend making your own handwritten study/review notes.

There has been a huge influx of beggars lately. If I click into your account and all I generally see is you asking for study notes or study material access, you're going to get banned.

Also, please flair up! It honestly does help weed out some of these accounts with flair. Try to flair up if you know you are going to be around and want to participate.

This sub is good because of back and forth engagement. Try to give at least as much as you take. If you post a question, try to respond to comments. Nothing worse than a question then OP just ghosts the thread.

FAR What the hell was that exam 07/23

Mcqs = easy, money, cake, prolly dropped 5-10.

But them TBSs ??? You might as well burned my exam money in-front of me. I absolutely hate this place rn… i took the exam on June 29 and this was nothing, and i mean absolutely freaking nothing like that one in June I thought I passed on that June exam turns out I missed it by 2 points with a 73. This one I know my results already, weaker, weaker, and weaker.

FML 🤦‍♂️

AUD You cant prepare for this exam!

Just got out of my Audit exam, the mcq was still manageable but what was it with those simulations? Intensely long and tiresome with average of 4-5 exhibits in all of them. No amount of practice or studies can prepare you for them. I don’t think AICPA wants anyone to become a CPA if this is how they want to test.

FAR Computer freezing during test

I took FAR today and during the 3rd testlet my computer froze and had to be rebooted by Prometric staff. My clock stopped during this and picked back up once I was in and my answers were saved, but the technical issue definitely messed with my focus and nerves for the remainder of the test.

Is this something I should report to NASBAs candidate care email to report a problem with my exam experienced during this section? Or since no data/time loss occurred does it even matter?

SHITPOST Is it just me, or is the TCP exam brutal?

Seriously, how is anyone calling this easy?
I’ve already taken and passed REG, but this felt like an absolute rollercoaster. The MCQs were doable, but the TBSs?
The TBSs had me sweating.
I don’t even know how I’m going to pass. This is just... ugh.
( I have no tax experience but I really like tax)

A 29 page document inclusive of the answers and full explanations found in the Additional Resources section. Not sure if it's provided for the other sections.

To anyone with access to Becker and has already taken FAR, what do you think?

TCP cram!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I’m cramming for my 8am exam tmr and noticed the FR TCP TBS are all from REG. Do I focus on relearning these reg topics, or go back to the module TBs. I heard the TBS are fucked either way so idk but appreciate any pointers on where to focus my time (FR or modules)

Post FAR Exam - What do I do?

For starters, I got a 66 and 67 on my SE on Becker. Took the exam today and do not feel great. MCQs were very fair in my opinion and there were really only two that I can think of that I had to completely guess on. TBSs on the other hand absolutely whooped me. Don’t want to give out many details with respect to the AICPA. I don’t know what to think, feel, or what even to do next. Should I continue studying for FAR or move on to my next section until score release?

SHITPOST You would be having the worst day of your life and then the attachment on the TBS decides to fuck with you

FAR Well I got out of FAR this morning my friends.

Upvotes

Honestly I don’t know how else I needed to study to be able to interpret wth they were trying to ask. It def was not lack of accounting Knowledge! It was lack of I don’t know what …. I didn’t know you needed to be an English interpreter AND a mind reader to be able to pass these exams!! 😳 SE1 71% and SE2 75%! I’m sure I have to take it again so this Becker Bump may also need to be interpreted differently 🤣🤯

AUD Took AUD today (7/23)

Took AUD today and am honestly feeling optimistic about it. I thought the MCQs were fair and definitely mimicked Becker for the most part, maybe had a handful in each testlet I was truly 50/50 on.

TBS were manageable, lots of testlets and reading that took me to the time limit, but most of them seemed to point me in the right direction and nothing seemed like anything I hadn’t seen concepts in. There were maybe 2 that had me stumped but I think I was able to snag some partial credit on those.

My own professional skepticism is really what I’m worried about lol.

Can only schedule less than 3 weeks in advance on Prometric website?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I’m trying to schedule FAR and was hoping to schedule at the end of August, but on Prometric’s website, I can only search testing center availability from now up until August 7th, everything past that is greyed out on the calendar and it doesn’t let me see what’s available past then. Is there a limit or something on how far in advance you can schedule?

STUDY MATERIAL Becker July 23, 2026 content update

Becker released a major CPA Review update adding the 2026 AICPA released questions, including full explanations under “Additional Resources” and integration of those questions into the related MCQ and TBS modules.

The update also added two new TBSs (one ISC and one REG) additional MCQs in FAR, ISC, and REG, new ISC flashcards, updated SkillBuilder videos, and various minor corrections. Becker also warned that completion percentages may decrease when questions are added or removed from previously completed modules.

Interestingly, (for us tax people), TCP was not mentioned in the announcement, but Becker appears to be ghost-adding new TCP MCQs anyway. I noticed new Trump Account questions in T1, along with additional questions appearing in T2 and T3, without any specific TCP update notice.

New T1 MCQs added (for me at least):
T1 M1: MCQ-27358, MCQ-27360
T1 M2: MCQ-27359
T1 M3: None
T1 M4: MCQ-27361, MCQ-27766, MCQ-27769, MCQ-27775

Worth it in terms of the amount of effort you put in for the amount of pay you got or benefits from it?

Is it possible to enter my exam scorecard report into Becker and get feedback into what sections I need to work on? What sections of Becker are the scorecard sections related to?

Deleted and reposted to add my scorecard.

Fellow ISC pathway takers, how are we feeling about the exam?

Whether you've already taken the exam or if you're scheduled in the next week, what are some main focus areas you're looking at? I just passed AUD in June so I feel incredibly confident on the entire area of SOC, so I'm trying to look at other areas to sharpen in on. Exam is next week, so I'm in the final crunch time!

I've studied solely with Becker and I'm only about 75 hours in, but I can't help but feel incredibly confident. First SE was an 87, and all other practice tests / Mini exams have been 80+. I can't help but feel like I've got this in the bag, but I'm trying to make sure I am not missing any topics that perhaps I have been slipping by.

Obviously not looking for rule-breaking insight, but curious to know how every feels / how prepared they felt on the exam.

Has anyone had experience w/ disclosing convictions?

I disclosed a previous conviction on my application to sit and have uploaded legal documentation, however NASBA requested a written letter of explanation for this previous conviction (driving w/ a suspended license). When writing the letter, should I keep the contents 100% fact based, or is it advisable to demonstrate things like remorse, lessons learned, why I won’t do it again, etc..

GENERAL What discipline section should I take?

Any tips for picking a discipline section? I dont have anything I specialize in for work. I'm a fairly normal accountant right now and I'm not sure what I might do in the future. I'm leaning towards the tax discipline. Any tips would be appreciated.

I just took FAR dont know if I passed yet, but think I will do AUD next . Any tips on what order I should do next would be helpful as well. Thank you everyone!

Took REG today for the first time

Upvotes

That felt entirely too easy. I think it’s a bad thing too. I can only think of once thing I messed up and it was on a simulation about medical expenses. Forgot the AGI floor but other than that I feel good. Finished with almost 2 hours and I feel like it’s not a good sign

Review of my 1st attempt at FAR

Upvotes

I honestly think I won’t pass. If I do, cool story. Studied. 200+ hours. Test was super fair, not hard at all. But my mind went black because I needed a certain reasonable accommodation, and the way my reasonable accommodation was set up, it did more harm than good. Regardless, if I fail I’ll give it a go in. August. I think the test scores come out on the 7th of August.

AUD AUD TBS how to study!!!?

I am getting freaked out by all the posts saying AUD TBS are not manageable! I have Becker, how can I do better in TBS? For people who passed how did you prepare for them? HELP please!!
