Help DIY Gun safety tip?

So, I'm at Närcon this week and lil old me forgot to buy an orange safety tip for my toy gun :') I'm cosplaying König from CoD and I really don't wanna take out the gun as my holster looks so empty :/ It's literally a Plastic toy gun with the serial number on top of it. Anyone have any tips to make one or get one quickly? I want my lil pew pew with me :3

If i simply aren't allowed to bring it in due to not having the tip I'll ofc leave it in the info desk while I'm at the con lol.

Help Any good things to make to practice?

So I’ve been wanting to get into EVA foam craft this summer so I’m not just sitting in front of my PC like a chud all day and I have actually learned quite a bit about EVA foam, cutting, glueing, using a dremel tool, cores and a bit of painting too. But apart from learning the techniques I don’t really know what to make or how to practice. I wanna focus on weapons/other props instead of armor making but again, I’m not sure what a “vertical progression” would look like or how I could achieve it.

My goal is to be able to make the katana of a character named Hoshimi Miyabi from Zenless Zone Zero by the end of the year and potentially continue making props out of pure entertainment. So if anyone has some tips or ideas on things I can make that can slowly climb in difficulty as I go I would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Help Agamemnon armor

Looking for someone who can either create, recommend a website, someone or help me with a 3D print file for Agamemnon display armor and helmet. I’m a female so if it could be tailored to me that would be great. Obviously not for free but advice or recommendations would be great bc Etsy isn’t giving me much

Help How do I make very cheap bird wings? I have an idea but don't know if it'll work

I've been wanting to cosplay one of my OCs for a while and finally started working on everything. I'm completely lost for making wings that aren't small. My OCs wings are a similar style as Hawks from My Hero Academia, but a bit smaller and different colors.

My idea was to just cut cardboard to the shape I want and use felt or faux fur to cover it then glue/sew feathers on it. I already did that for a small pair of dragon wings so I know it works, but idk if it'll hold up for larger wings. I don't have a lot to spend on cosplays so I try to stick to cheap materials or things I already have.

Making shoulder thingies for a costume, they won’t be attached to other armour, just want to be able to wear these over clothes. Does anyone have any tips on how and where to attach the separate pieces together and how to keep them on me?

Learned a lot of stitching and leatherwork from skilltree. First project making use of scrap leather. An add on to my wizard's bag (amazon modified). A handy way to access spell components easily. Made me wonder if this is what preparing spells is like in D&D

Help How long does Clayfoam material hold up?

Hi, I want to cover a good part of my costume in clay foam; but now im a bit unsure after reading — will clayfoam eventually break apart and crumble/detiorate? Or will it hold up and stay together for essentially years if nothing happens to it and is properly sealed/kept indoors??

Is woodglue also a good sealant for this? Thank you!
