I have gotten my lips done twice in the past. I had an appointment yesterday where my injector added another full syringe to the entirety of my lips. After she finished, she then injected dissolvent to the right side because she said in simple terms that they were uneven. I was super swollen on the side she did the dissolvent but now, about 20 hours later, the side she did the dissolvent on is SO much smaller than the other side. Will they even out? The side with the dissolver feels flat.

I really want Himplant, but one urologist didn't recommend it or other similar implants because my skin is too thin.

I'm thin. I'm 172 cm (5'8") tall and weigh 65-67 kg (143-148 lbs).

hi, sorry i know this question probably may be asked a lot, but i just got 0.5mL lip filler for the first time and im a bit concerned. i had this a small bruise from right after the injector finished, he even pointed it out himself right when he gave me the mirror, and its only been 4 hours but now its getting to be very dark. just wondering if this is normal and/or if i should be concerned. thank you. just worried about vascular occlusion.

i did five consultations around gangnam and apgujeong over a few days and i am completely exhausted. instead of feeling ready to choose i just feel way more confused right now. i want to fix my wide cheekbones and heavy lower jaw, plus my nose tip droops a bit which makes me look tired all the time. at first i thought the smartest thing to do was just book appointments at every massive famous clinic i kept seeing online. places like id hospital or view that everyone always talks about.

that was way too much for me. those huge places aren't terrible but the pace is just intense. you sit in a packed waiting room for a long time, talk to several different staff members, take your scans, and then you only get a tiny amount of time with the actual surgeon. it all started to blur together. after a while it felt less like medical planning and more like moving through a factory line. the coordinators were nice but they did almost all the talking. the conversation always turned into pushing for a deposit or checking schedule availability. i know these places are businesses. i just did not feel ready to make a huge decision about cutting my bones that fast. i wanted someone to actually look at my facial structure and asymmetry, not just tell me what procedures are popular right now. for my nose i wanted a realistic opinion on fixing the droopy tip without making it look super sharp and fake.

that is why i started looking into smaller places too. i visited saekim plastic surgery in apgujeong just to compare a quieter doctor led place with those massive hospitals. the atmosphere was definitely different. it was not flashy or loud at all. the consultation felt way more direct. the doctor actually looked at my face and explained what could realistically be improved, and he also pointed out what he would refuse to do so he wouldn't overdo it. it wasn't some overly friendly chat, but it felt much calmer and more focused than the bigger places. this whole experience made me rethink how i am choosing a place. before this i was just ranking them by how famous they are and how polished their photos looked. now i care a lot more about whether the doctor explains the plan clearly and if i can ask safety questions without feeling rushed.

i am still not fully decided yet. i want to compare a bit more before putting down any money because bone surgery and a nose job are massive decisions. but running around to all these famous clinics just made me tired, not confident. has anyone else felt this way during seoul consults? did you choose a massive clinic because the big system felt safer, or did you prefer a smaller place where the doctor seemed more involved? i would really appreciate any advice on what to ask during a second consultation. i am just trying to slow down and make a practical choice instead of getting stressed by marketing and deposit pressure.

i want my face to be slimmer and my cheeks to look hollower. i’m turning 20 so i’ve heard some people say to just wait to grow up or is it worth it to try? i’ve debated buccal fat and had to let that go cause i heard it ages poorly and chin lipo may be in the cards 😞 i just wanna slim my face out. any advice? or do i just wait and let myself grow up?

I hve super sunken and hollow eyes, I have my whole life. Along with that comes the dark circles and eye bags. The eye bags are really starting to come on now. I cannot stand looking at them anymore, and cannot imagine what they will look like in just a few more years. My only problem is being afraid I will look more hollow than I am. I am hoping fat reposition with a skin pinch will help restore my confidence. I know my undereyes probably won’t be 100%, but any sort of improvement will help me. The photos are misleading bc you can’t really see the bag, but I do have one. Just wanted to show how hollow I am, I just have huge eye sockets unfortunately. I made the mistake of getting BFR in 2023. I took my cheeks for granted and should have let them age naturally. I’m 37 now and have spent the past few years trying to restore structure and volume. I don’t entirely shun this procedure but I don’t think I was a great candidate either. My surgeon said he took a very conservative amount of fat, but even that made a huge impact. One thing I wasn’t prepared for is how much this surgery throws off your facial proportions. Big lesson to love what you’ve got!

Anyways since having BFR I’ve done:
2 rounds of Sculptra (1 vile a year) and
1 vile of Radiesse to the temples/cheekbones
1 vile HD Radiesse to midface hollowing

I’m feeling better about where my face is today. Of course daily analysis can drive you mad and skew your perceptions - so hoping you all could tell me what you see in the progression of my journey. Before > Soon after > to current day.

I got my lip filler done on Friday (5 days ago) mainly on my top lip and it still looks swollen. I specifically asked for a natural look and it looks like I’ve been stung by bees. Is this normal? And will the swelling go down?

Hi there! I was wondering will my swelling go down in a more L shaped/90 degree angle or will I keep the subtle ski slope from radix to tip? Will there also be more definition in the tip as the swelling subsides giving a look of a contour or does the tip usually retain its look from post op? First photo is pre op.

I want a nose job in August and lipo/bbl/breasts in October.. is that too soon ? How soon after my nose can I get my body ?

I've been noticing more injectors talking about dissolving old filler, using smaller amounts, and focusing on facial balance rather than volume.

Do you think we're moving away from the "more is more" era of filler?

I got lip fillers 4-5 days ago. Yes it won’t be as bad later but I think the lower lip isnt just swollen but too much volume. He projected the border and added a lot, I have a narrow mouth and thin lips.

Problem : itd be better to wait 2 weeks to be sure. but my injector will be gone in 3 weeks, and the left over from my syringe will expire before he’s back. if I dissolve, it be better to have the left over in case I need some touch up. But timing wise that would mean dissolving 1 week after getting the filler. what do I do ?

Guys I’m feeling so self conscious… I have all these little spots on my top lips and I want to know if I should just dissolve … my bottom lip is fine … it’s just my top lip and it’s only when I grin but it still makes me self conscious
