The whole rim is soft without the ridges. Just not sure what to look for

What do you think about this coin guys. I'm interested in all opinions, but tbh i'm especially interested in American's opinion. How much would you pay or tou think people would pay for this coin?

You think it's a great collectible for numismatists? Due to the low mintage, it's already got more expensive than the price i bought.

Going through a small collection and the gentleman has this. Comparing to XF examples on PCGS it looks…off. Some of the details are mushy like the neck point between the star and 1, the letters in LIBERTY aren’t as sharp and clear as comparable genuine examples, and it looks like there’s some mild pitting.

Weight is right enough and it passes the magnet test which I’m assuming it could be silver at least but I’d have to test it. I’ve already found 1 fake Morgan along with a few other fake coins so I’m extra suspicious.

The guy acquired all this from working retail and people would come to pay and they’d spend silver sometimes and he’d nab it when they did.

My wife inherited this 1921 silver peace dollar. Searching online and everything is cleaned so I think that's the way to go. Do I clean this one and then protect it somehow? Any other recommendations? TIA!

Edit - thank you for all the great responses! We plan to save it to make it be a problem for whoever inherits it from us. Is there something we should do right now to halt any further damage or better prepare it for long term storage? It is currently in a purpose built padded coin holder that itself is likely pretty old.

I recently picked up this Pokémon Tazos collection from a seller in Poland and I’m hoping some of the experts here can help me learn a bit more about it.
The collection includes:
151 Pokémon Tazos (No. 1–151)
9 Trainer Tazos
8 Trainer Tazos from Tazo 2
It also came with the Pokémon storage box shown in the photos, but I have no idea whether the box is an original promotional item or if it was just used to store the collection later on.
I’m trying to figure out a few things:
Do these look like genuine 2000 Lay’s/Cheetos Tazos, or could they be one of the modern reprints?
Is there anything in the photos that points to the country they were originally released in?
If everything is original, what would you consider a fair market value for a complete set like this today?
I’d really appreciate any opinions or information. Thanks!

Basically the title. I've been collecting for a couple of years now but mostly just from local shops. I've only purchased online once in the past and had a bad experience so I haven't gone back. However, there's been a few pieces that I have only been able to find online that I'd really like to get to complete a collection. Both of these have some of the coins I'm looking for so I'm mostly concerned about the actual buying experience.

It’s definitely not the best penny out there but definitely a good find. Before this my oldest penny was from 1939 so I went down by 13 years!

So, I live on 10 acres, and like many of you here, as a kid (and an adult) I always wanted to find buried treasure, but never have. So, I'm paying it forward by burying around my property jars of loose coins and some old costume jewelry inherited from my mother. I usually put little notes in them too. I've also buried those metal cookie tins with newspapers or other artifacts.

Someone, sometime, will find them eventually. Maybe in 1, 10, or 100 years...

I probably have at least dozen of them out there by now...here's three more!
