Col. John Alexander is a former Army Special Forces Commander with an impeccable career in leadership across multiple agencies and programs within the U.S. intelligence community. Alexander lead Special Forces teams as an Officer during the Vietnam War. He would later serve as the Chief of Human Technology at INSCOM and Army Inspector General. Alexander's work inspired and was heavily featured in the book and adapted film "Men Who Stare at Goats." He is widely credited with leading the way in researching non-lethal weapons and military applications of the paranormal.

In this episode, Alexander recounts his experience in Vietnam and the brutality of jungle warfare. Through his experience, he began to see the power of coincidence and intuition. This led him to pursue greater knowledge via the Army Intelligence and Security Command. It was there he helped transform the United State's approach to the paranormal. Post retirement, Alexander became the Program Manager for Non-Lethal Defense at Los Alamos National Laboratory–the same lab responsible for the creation of the Atomic Bomb. Today, he is a successful Author and continues his work as a researcher.

John Alexander, PhD, is a retired U.S. Army Colonel. He is author of The Warrior’s Edge, Future War, and UFOs: Myths, Conspiracies, and Realities. He has served as a consultant to the National Intelligence Council, the CIA, U.S. Special Operations Command, and the Army Science Board.

Here he maintains that an understanding of UFOs requires familiarity with a range of phenomena associated with the paranormal. He notes that, while UFOs have been associated with both the U.S. and Russian nuclear missile programs, such events are so rare as to be not amenable to institutional study. While governments throughout the world have acknowledged the existence of UFOs, the phenomena still elude understanding. Dr. Alexander challenges the credibility of those who claim that the United States has achieved any technological breakthrough as a result of having made contact with alien intelligences.

I think I randomly heard this particular call-in episode on Spotify a few years back about a caller who is of native north american heritage and the guest explained that he worked as an electronics or telecommunications contractor hired to set up radio and cellular towers on remote islands in Indonesia. He was advised not to wear yellow in the forest and someome on his team did & sh!t went sideways. Got attacked by unseen forces, got super sick.

The crux of the callers tale is when someone disappeared while on a group camping trip on the north side of the island and was eventually found but quite a bit of time had passed, maybe a month? was never the same. Like pretty much non-verbal except some cryptic references to little people.

Its driving me NUTS! I cant find it and wanted to share it with someone. Stupid AI is no help in finding the episde other than referencing the coast to coast AM site. Since its a call-in show a bit harder to track since it doesn’t have guest names.

I remember an old weekend show somewhere in the past 3 years hosted by Connie Willis where she had this ridiculous “Bigfoot researcher” friend of hers on. I wanna say it was a Saturday show.

The guy claimed that he was in regular contact with various Bigfoot tribes even sharing meals with them and staying with them for extended periods of time. Eventually the main tribe he talked to, from the northwest USA, invited him to the wedding of their Bigfoot daughter taking place in like Kentucky. I remember him saying that the Bigfoot tribes had to marry outside of their area because of a lack of genetic diversity or something. I also remember him saying he was told all this via telepathy and that they could contact him wherever he was at anywhere in the world.

Firstly does anyone else remember this episode? And does anyone remember this guys name?

I don't know why, but I actually listened to the ctc show last night about a time machine that would take you back into the past.

I think I might have missed part of the show, and am confused...was the guest actually saying there is such a travelling "contraption", or was he saying "what if" there was.

I mean, I think we have to be pretty gullible to believe there could be such a "thing", but you never know with all AI and modern technology, etc.

Did I hear Myette last night? I was more than half asleep and thought thatI heard her voice. Was it a dream?

Gemini and Grok unloaded on the things that The Doors expert said-- and I don't want anyone to believe that I think that AI is definitive proof, but it's more reliable than most humans.

- Jim didn't write "The End" when he was homeless and living under a pier in Venice Beach. His parents never "pulled the plug on his apartment" (as the radio guest said). There was a time when he lived on a roof by choice, but he was never homeless. In fact, his parents continued to support him long after he graduated from UCLA. As AI stated, Jim might have misled people about them, and his dismissiveness of them was evidenced when he claimed that they were dead. I think that his dad alone lived to age 300.

-The "Indians scattered, bleeding and dead on the highway" story is a myth. Yeah, I know. That's a shot in the gut. But it's true. They've interviewed many people who actually witnessed that wreck scene (including Jim's dad), and they even made a documentary about it. Jim's account is just inaccurate. Only one person died in that incident, and witnesses claim that he wasn't even native American. It was either a child's fantasy of the things that he saw or an older guy's embellishment of the things that he saw.

I didn't listen to the first half of the show because I've had my fill of mediums. But when I switched over from sports to Coast at the top of the third hour, Ryan Wrecker was playing ace relief pitcher after the second guest (with no photo) was a no show. With a lesser host than Wrecker, this hootenanny could easily have dissolved into a mess.

During Open Lines we had a nice mix of new callers on disclosure and vast, secret, underground military bases at Goose Bay, Labrador. When planning a vacation, Goose Bay is seldom spoken in the same breath with the Hawaiian islands or spots along the Mediterranean.

During the 1950s, Goose Bay (along with Gander) was a popular refueling stop for four-engine piston airliners plying the Blue Spruce route from North America to Europe. Though eastbound (New York) Idlewild to London and Paris flights were advertised as nonstops, westbound Boeing Stratocruiser and Lockheed "Super G" Constellation flights against the prevailing headwinds often had to stop at beautiful, picturesque Goose Bay. Woe to those passengers who had to RON-- or remain overnight due to an aircraft mechanical breakdown.

One would think if there were massive underground bases there, they'd have built at least one decent sized, first class hotel at Goose Bay.
