I'd like to ask this question because I've seen plenty of criticisms and complaints in numerous Reddit posts about how Hector is portrayed in seasons 2 through 4 of the animated series.

That's why I'd like to know how the writers could have done him more justice.

And do you wish that the character Julia Laforeze, rather than Lenore, had been the object of Hector's love?

Personally, I like Lenore, but I also understand why some fans were disappointed that Hector seemed so weak against her and Carmilla in this Netflix series.

OG Hector is certainly far more powerful in 'Curse of Darkness', but in my opinion, he had virtually no real personality, since he focused soley on avenging his late wife, Rosaly, and getting revenge on OG Isaac, who looks like a possessed, flamboyant emo twink.

That makes me wonder: Why did Warren Ellis weaken him so much?

It's a fan-made sequel to Order of Ecclesia, the game is still in development.

I had a bit of fun drawing quick sketches of different outfits for Julius Belmont.

So, let’s recap:

• It’s 1999, and Julius is 19 years old.
• He has presumably been trained by a secret organization (likely the Church, Mr. Arikado, and perhaps an ancestor of Yoko Belnades) to become the ultimate vampire-hunting machine.
• He is the most powerful of his lineage — the Belmont to end all Belmonts.

According to the only illustration we have of the event (from *Grimoire of Souls*), he wore something similar to what he would wear in 2035. But let’s imagine he didn’t keep the same outfit for 35 years — and have some fun with it.

I ended up making him for a character creator contest in the Discord server I'm in and I somehow won.

For me Bloody Tears is number 1 with Divine Bloodlines close 2.

I am at 1887/1890 rooms, one of them is the final boss room. Where are the other two I’ve looked at these maps for so long I can’t find them

I've always been kind of interested in Castlevania (I love 2D Metroid games and the Hollow Knight games), but there are so many options.

All three collections on the Switch are on sale right now, and I might pick one up, but I'm not sure which to choose. The options are: The Anniversary Collection, The Dominus Collection, and the Advance Collection, and each collection has a bunch of games.

I'm not sure if the Anniversary Collection is for me yet, because it seems to mostly include the older games, and I worry that they'd be a little dated for a newcomer. Besides, I'm guessing they're more linear, and I'm looking for more Metroidvania style games. Regardless, does anyone have any recommendations based on those options?

I should start by saying that I'm 17 years old and I've always had a certain taste in games. I've always overall preferred retro games to modern games in general. Some of my favorite series are Doom, Halo, Half Life, Metal Gear Solid, Metroid, Contra, Mario, and Sonic. (When it comes to Contra, Mario, and Sonic I mean the classic 2D games.)

So a couple weeks ago I decided I wanted to try Symphony of the Night. I always heard it was one of the best PS1 games, and I had a vague interest in the series for a while. So I tried it, and the first time I just couldn't get into it and dropped it. But then I had this nagging feeling to give it ONE more chance and I did. I'm really glad I did so.

It's a great game. My first Castlevania game but my favorite so far, the reasons I'll get into in a moment. Alucard is a fun character to play as, the graphics and animations are detailed and crisp, the music was catchy, and the story was pretty good. I am a Gameplay > Story focused person but I can enjoy a good story. The combat was satisfying, like destroying enemies that were giving you trouble in the beginning, and the castle has a huge variety of places to explore. I actually enjoy the cheesy and campy voice acting, it reminds me a lot of old action or horror movies. It's not good, it's not bad either. It's just fun.

I do have some criticisms, the game was cryptic at times and I had to use a guide to look up where to go, and the menu was confusing at first to understand. You also get a lot of useless items that you just don't use and it bloats your inventory. Once I got the Shield Rod I stuck to that weapon for the rest of the game because I loved cheesing bosses with the Iron Shield or the Alucard shield. I'm also just not a RPG guy in general, and at first the RPG elements turned me off before I got used to it.

Now, I got the good ending and explored 114% overall of the 2 castles. Which means I unlocked Ricther Mode, and so I tried him out. I enjoyed playing as him in the prologue and was a bit disappointed you didn't get to use him more. I was looking forward to unlocking him the whole game.

And to me, THIS was playing Castle-fricking-vania. Imo, I enjoy Richter Mode MORE than the main Alucard game. Don't get me wrong, the main game is a good game. But Richter Mode really got me to love the game and see it as a truly amazing classic.

I love his special moveset, it's so fun to just uppercut and slide-kick everywhere. His Item Crashes wreck the bosses so easily, and his whip is powerful and kills anything in one or two hits. There's no story, no item menus, it's just you and this big castle to explore and destroy everything in your path. Ricther is so fluid like Alucard, but can access almost everything from the start. He's my favorite way to play this game.

3 of the collections: Dominus, Advance and Anniversary, are on sale for $17.49, $9.99 and $7.99 respectively

I don't know how often the games go on sale, I'm going to check dekudeals soon but I want to get into these games and i'm curious if it's a good idea to skip certain games. I'm sure many many Metroid fans will say you can skip Metroid 1 n 2 and just go straight to Super Metroid and you won't be missing much.

I love Metroid Dread and Metroid Prime Remastered and I love anything that has metroidvania aspects.

I just watched the first post of the Netflix original show and I know the game fans will have their quarrels with it, but I think I can enjoy both

So I'm trying to make a thumbnail for a Castlevania 1 video and I can't find a definitive design for Dracula? I'm very new to the series and I'm just really confused

Hi! I'm almost at the end of the game, and while reading online I kept seeing people mention the Luck stat. The thing is, I can't even see that stat anywhere in my menu.

I already have 2 Arcana Rings. Is there any other way to increase my Luck?

I also read about Luck Potions, but I've never found any. Do they actually exist?

I'm playing the digital PS Store version, so I'm not sure if that changes anything. For example, where the Sword Familiar was supposed to be, I found the Fairy instead. I also ended up with two Fairy familiars that only seem to differ in color. Is that normal?

Also, I already have the Crissaegrim (it's insanely strong! Is using it considered cheesy, or is it generally accepted?) Since I already have that weapon, are there actually any other items that are really worth farming for?

I hate these with all my passion! I have probably lost more lives to these demons than anything else!

In all seriousness what is the worst enemy in all of the games? I nominate these.
