For me it would be Smiling Friends, something about the way the characters look weirds me out.

Ain’t she a legend in the toon voicing biz or what? I’ve met her in NYCC last decade and she was cool there. I’d meet her again someday soon and her characters she voiced for over decades made a difference for fans even me. Her singing was beautiful in both ways.l, too.

Im a huge fan of the owl house, it's one of my favorite cartoons of all time. I liked gravity falls but not as much as TOH.

Like it’s not them being cooler it’s about showing their growth and relatability. Heck Toy Story shows Kids grow up.

1. Family Video. The kids movie section. I found this and watched it religiously every other Family Video visit for at least a year.

My estranged father died last week, so I’ve been reminiscing and I wanted to see if anyone else remembered.

So two of my "comfort cartoons" that I watch sometimes when I'm stressed with adult life are Ed, Edd n Eddy and The Cramp Twins.

I remember the first season of The Cramp Twins being ran over and over on Cartoon Network when I was a kid, I've seen all of the episodes a number of times, but now when I watch it online there is also the second season and watching it feels a bit weird.

The themes that it involves seem to be more serious, like bullying, gambling (I just watched an episode where Horace or Mr. Cramp spends all his money on an amusement park and then takes a loan from a bank and in the same episode Wayne bullies Tony and other little kids).

There are more episodes like this later on and the first season was considerably more lighthearted in that regard so I started thinking if season 2 is actually based on the books by the same author or is it entirely made from scratch for TV.

Jared Bush announced that a new original Disney animated movie will be released in 2028 not set in the human world, but what kind of world would you like it to be set in? I hope it won't be set in a non-human fantasy realm since that idea was already used by Pixar before in 2020 in Onward and Disney produced enough mythology and fantasy centered movies by now and should do something different for a change by making it another realistic anthropomorphic animal world centered movie after the Zootopia duology but in an entirely new genre different from the buddy cop genre used in those movies with the same themes of prejudice but explored in a different way or one that is set in a world of anthropomorphic food a topic that was never explored before in computer-animated history and make it related to a Pixar movie much like how Wreck-It-Ralph was related to both Up and Toy Story and this movie can to both Monsters' Inc. and Elemental.
Which animated movie do you thing not set in the human world should be released in 2028, make your opinion from these three choices:

1. One that is set in a non-human fantasy world much like Pixar's Onward but this time in a mythology realm centered on unicorns and dragons?

2. One that is set in the anthropomorphic animal world entirely different from the Zootopia movies in a different animation style and in a new genre like superhero, war or even archaeology adventure or spy based.

3. One that is set in a world of anthropomorphic food, a topic that was never tackled before in computer-animated history and Disney might beat Pixar into producing like how they beat them into making a movie about sentient video game characters with Wreck-It-Ralph and even a movie with a world of anthropomorphic animals like with Zootopia since Pixar never made one before in favor of what if? scenarios and never produced adaptations of books or literature like Disney did either in favor of original stories.

And do you think these films should be Pixar-based or Disney Princess-based? Zootopia and Zootopia 2 despite having Pixar vibes are more Disney Princess related while Wreck-It-Ralph, Big Hero 6 and Strange World all feel more like Pixar movies and Coco despite being made by Pixar has more of a Disney-feel to it but not in the Disney Princess genre much like Encanto and Wish and with a male protagonist.

At the moment, these might be the six shows I choose for my six show project, if there’s a change I’ll update it, but rank these shows, but only if you’ve seen all of them, it can be worst to best or best to worst just make sure to clarify

Example: Animaniacs airing in Brazil with a Portuguese dub, but somehow keeping the "Presidents song" despite the fact most of the people in the video are not understandable to Brazillians.

And the fact that Histeria aired in other countries, despite the fact that it relies too much on American history which wouldn't make sense in other countries.

For context, I'm someone who grew up reading thousands of comics stories featuring Disney characters, from the works of certified legends Carl Barks and Don Rosa, to the stories by the various European creators from Italy, Holland,...etc. And I honestly think many of those stories are ripe for animated adaptation. I know we had two solid DuckTales shows, with the original adapting multiple Barks stories, but I think a series that properly adapts "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" would be a smash hit given how amazing the graphic novel is.

Another thing that I think has potential is the Duck Avenger/Paperinik stories. I've been reading PK's New Adventures lately, and I'm suprised by how good they are. They're quite different from your regular Duck Comics, considering they're essentially "what if Donald Duck was a Marvel supehero", but they're also legitimately solid sci-fi/superhero stories that manage to keep the main character recognizable somehow. They had a modest game called "PK: Out of the Shadows" for the Nintendo GameCube, but I believe a show based on them could be amazing. I genuinely believe they should be bigger internationally and outside of Italy.

Also, while the recent Three Caballeros show wasn't amazing, I thought it was quite fun and deserved another season. And even outside of Duck stories, I believe the old Floyd Gottfredson stories for Mickey, and the comics about private eye Mickey in general, can translate nicely to a show.

It's honestly a shame that Disney is largely uninterested in the original characters these days because they can be so much more than mascots. I can't help but miss their classic shorts and 2D animation in general, but I think a theatrical release featuring them in the vein of something like the Fantasia films is a far dream these days. Unfortunately, I don't think kids nowadays care about these characters, and IDK if the adults form enough of a market, but I do hope to see more of the classic characters someday. After all, it all started with a mouse!
